About: I would be willing to watch your dog in my home that I share with my wife, Mellisa and sons Nate, 13 and Nolan, 11 and our 9 year old cat, Mango. We have owned pups for most of our lives. Mellisa works from home and my schedule is very flexible; therefore, we will be home to tend to your pets needs. We live on an acre in a dog friendly neighborhood in La Grange. If you would like to discuss the possibility of you hosting your dog with our family... send me a message. Mellisa currently works from home and I have a very flexible schedule as well. Therefore we will be able to tend to the needs of your fur baby. I have two children who love animals and will be right there playing and walking with your pet. We also have a crate available if needed.

About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

About: I’ve been taking care of cats for over half my life now! I truly love cats and always volunteer to take care of my friend’s cats when they go out of town. I’m also a volunteer with Kentucky Humane Society and Purrfect Day Cat Cafe. I work as a receptionist at a vet’s office and I’m familiar with extensive medical care, including ER Animal hospitals in the area. I can pretty much accommodate any schedule as long as I know ahead of time when you will need me to care for your cat or dog I will not be caring for pets in my home because our pets do not love other animals unfortunately. I am more than happy to come to you though.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: I am a recent college graduate and frequently volunteer with KCPP (every Sunday) doing dogs day out and am also in the process of becoming a foster. I have experience with dogs ranging from LARGE to small, and have a hard headed pitbull at home. I love all dogs and would love to become a frequent reliable sitter. I have TONS of repeat clients on and off of rover and would love to build a relationship with you and your pets! I have an apartment with a patio and open door. Nova spends a lot of time on the patio and we take long walks atleast every 4 hours including small potty breaks. I keep my dog very active and feed her twice daily, she’s allowed on furniture and in my bed. Dog sitting is currently my only source of income and has my full attention! I have tons of free time in my search for a full time job after recently graduating. I can do both! I often stay in my regular clients home and would need to do a meet and greet with my dog beforehand.

About: I've personally had dogs for over 20+ years. My pack has been as small as 1, but as large as 5. I've been active in rescue groups and truly feel like dogs are the answer for any sadness. I've recently lost my soul dog after a 2 year struggle with cancer. My heart isn't ready for another dog, so I am hoping I can still get my cuddles in and help people out in the meantime. I've become a pro at giving medicine, so if you need a midday dose giver, Im your gal! I'm a realtor, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can make most days or evenings work. Whatever your pup needs, I can make it happen! I follow orders, so I won't put your dog into a situation they aren't familiar with. I totally get all animals are different and respect how people work with their own.

About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I have also volunteered with local shelters for many years. I am always thrilled when friends and family ask me to help out with their pets because dogs are the real happiness in the world. I have a very flexible schedule so I can offer my services at pretty much any point during the day. I have open availability throughout the week. I have a black lab/Great Pyrenees mix so I definitely love big dogs. My girl loves other dogs and we typically do walks around town at least 3 times per day. About: I have never pet sat before however I have owned and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, birds, and a rabbit I love animals and can’t wait to meet yours. About: I’ve cared for my bulldog at home for many years now and make frequent visits to my grandmothers house to help her take care of her beagles. I have always had a passion to make animals specifically dogs time on earth the best it can be. I know they are incredibly misunderstood and no matter the animal, I have always found a way to get along with the fur baby. On days I don’t work, it would be amazing to get the opportunity to do this as to me it’s not considered a job Make them feel comfortable and let them know that you are there for them. About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!

About: I have taken care and had animals in my home for around 19 years now. I absolutely love animals, I love taking care of them and playing with them on a daily basis. I am willing to take care of your pet in every single way possible.:) I work at target part time, so my schedule ranges from 7:30 AM in the morning to around three or four in the afternoon. I’m a big morning person, so I am able to get up earlier than my scheduled shift time and take care of animals. As well, I am able to take care of them after my shifts and even dedicate more of my time to them on my off days. unfortunately, my yard does not have a fence, however, we do have a pretty spacious backyard and I am able to keep an eye on them and play with them all throughout their outside experience.

About: Hi! My name is Allie! My life revolves around my two border collies. We are constantly off finding adventures...hiking down new trails, swimming in lakes, herding sheep! Of course, we love an inside, sit on the couch type of day, as well. Whichever kind of day your pet needs, I would love the opportunity to care for them. I attended three years of veterinary technician school and have worked in several hospitals and shelter settings. From all those experiences, I learned how to interact with different personalities and treat medical emergencies. I am now in a different field that allows me to work from home the majority of the time. Therefore, I will be available to spend all day with your pets! I have also had horses my whole life and grew up working on ranches. If you have a hobby farm or other animals that need to be cared for, I am happy to do that as well!
