About: Hi! My name is Iyah, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. While I am new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for fur-babies!! I have loved animals of all kinds since I arrived on this earth! I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels through previous and current professional work experience at a dog and cat care/boarding business, along with caring for pets in my personal life as well. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming care, administering medications when needed, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Robert and I both work professionally with animals full-time and have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. We genuinely love what we do, and your pets’ safety, comfort, and happiness will always come first. 🐶🐱💕 For house-sitting bookings, I may request that Robert accompany me, as I am a young woman staying overnight in an unfamiliar home and area. I completely understand that this is your home, so this will always be discussed with you beforehand—there will never be an unexpected additional guest in your home. You’re also more than welcome to meet both of us during our Meet & Greet so you can feel completely comfortable with who will be caring for your pets and staying in your home. I'm open to taking care of your babies whenever I am off and whenever I do have free time. I would prefer coming to your home to care for your babies as I do still stay with family who are not as dog crazy and loving as me.

About: I grew up with pets since I was a baby. I have learned throughout the years how to care and love them differently. I currently own dogs, cats, chickens and birds which I love all so much. I love showing love and comfort to every animal that crosses my path! I would be very appreciative to make your pet feel more loved and comfortable than they already are. I’m working a part time which allows me to care for your pet more often than not. I am almost always available for your pet when needed. I have learned every dog/cat is different and have different needs. I am willing to learn new things. But I can safely put your pet in crates and give them their meds safely!

Every dog will have a minimum of three outings each day, including potty breaks, playtime, walks, and even some time soaking up the sun if that’s what they enjoy. I believe dogs should have the opportunity to stay active while also having time to relax and feel comfortable in their environment. I start by giving each dog individual one-on-one time so I can learn their personality, comfort level, and needs. Depending on your dog’s temperament and your preferences, they may also be paired with other dogs who are a good match. Group interaction is always based on the owner’s request and what is appropriate for each dog. Interested in park walks or additional outings during your dog’s stay? Please request this in advance. Park outings depend on the season, weather conditions, and whether the activity is appropriate for your individual dog. All outdoor activities are fully supervised. Your dog will also have a consistent daily routine, including scheduled meal times, potty breaks, activity, rest, and plenty of personal attention. For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was born. I was raised around a husky-collie, yorkies, and mini schnauzers. I have cared for my family members pets as well. My most recent experience stems from volunteering at an animal shelter. I would exercise dogs of various of temperaments and breeds. I am currently an online college student so I have plenty of time and energy to hang out with your pals! I’m free week days so that time while you’re away at work I can give your dog a happy distraction for a bit until you come home! I find working within a dog’s comfort zone works the best. Whatever they’re happy with while also being safe is the environment I’ll provided. That could be avoiding other dogs or taking slower walks. Whatever is needed I’ll do!

About: Growing up on a farm I learned to care for animals ranging from big to small. I’ve had dogs in my family since I was around 6 years old, I currently have 3 dogs . I’m currently working from home which leads me to have plenty of time to stop in and take care of your pets whenever you need. About: I have personal and professional experience with watching dogs and I’m a huge animal lover. My rates are low because I’m just starting out on Rover, I’ve only done pet sitting for family and friends. I have a very energetic 2 year old who I spend a lot of time outside with, so they’ll get plenty of playtime. I have lots of time for playing or walking while we’re outside. And during nap times we all get to take a break inside for a couple hours to snooze 💤 I take my dog/s on a walk 2x a day and a few hours for supervised free play, on 1 acre of unfenced yard. Plenty of toys and treats can be provided and no bed or sofa is off limits to any fur baby.

About: My love for animals has definitely grown over the years. I started dog sitting over the past 4 years and have loved every bit of it. I’ve take care of my neighbors, co-workers, and family/friends animals as well! They rely on me to make sure their babies are fed, safe and happy! About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. I don't mind wearing a mask for long hours or at all and will abide by any covid restrictions you personally have. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and to have more repeat clientele!
