About: Hi! My name is Iyah, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. While I am new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for fur-babies!! I have loved animals of all kinds since I arrived on this earth! I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels through previous and current professional work experience at a dog and cat care/boarding business, along with caring for pets in my personal life as well. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, basic grooming care, administering medications when needed, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also understand that every dog is different, so I always try to pay attention to their personality, routines, boundaries, body language and needs. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including anxious pets. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always aim to provide reliable care, consistent communication, and lots of updates/photos for peace of mind. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed, I’ll make sure they receive patience, attention, love and genuine care. Your baby will be cared for and loved on as if they were my own. For me to be even more successful in what I do, I love all my clients to give me as much details about their babies as possible, I'm here to accommodate, support and make you and your pet-parent life as comfortable as possible. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members! 🐾 ⚠️DISCLAIMER⚠️ 🐾 Meet My Pet-Care Partner! For transparency and safety, I want all pet parents to know that my fiancé, Robert, may accompany me for certain bookings—particularly overnight house-sitting stays or bookings farther away from home. Robert and I both work professionally with animals full-time and have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. We genuinely love what we do, and your pets’ safety, comfort, and happiness will always come first. 🐶🐱💕 For house-sitting bookings, I may request that Robert accompany me, as I am a young woman staying overnight in an unfamiliar home and area. I completely understand that this is your home, so this will always be discussed with you beforehand—there will never be an unexpected additional guest in your home. You’re also more than welcome to meet both of us during our Meet & Greet so you can feel completely comfortable with who will be caring for your pets and staying in your home. My goal is for everyone to feel safe and comfortable—your pets, you, and us! 🐾🤍 I work two jobs, but my schedules aren't consistent. I'm open to taking care of your babies whenever I am off and whenever I do have free time. I would prefer coming to your home to care for your babies as I do still stay with family who are not as dog crazy and loving as me.
About: I grew up with pets since I was a baby. I have learned throughout the years how to care and love them differently. I currently own dogs, cats, chickens and birds which I love all so much. I love showing love and comfort to every animal that crosses my path! I would be very appreciative to make your pet feel more loved and comfortable than they already are. I’m working a part time which allows me to care for your pet more often than not. I am almost always available for your pet when needed. I have learned every dog/cat is different and have different needs. I am willing to learn new things. But I can safely put your pet in crates and give them their meds safely!
About: I have 9 years of experience caring for animals, including 7 years as a veterinary assistant. I have cared for dogs and cats of every age and personality, from energetic puppies and curious kittens to anxious rescues and gentle seniors. My approach is calm, patient, and loving. I move at each pet’s natural pace and focus on building trust through consistency and positive attention. I am not formally certified, but I have helped teach several dogs basic obedience and simple tricks through reward-based training. Every animal I care for receives the same warmth and attentiveness I gave my own beloved dog, and I always aim to create a safe and relaxing experience for them. I balance organizing and design projects, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to dedicate real, focused attention to each pet. Most days I’m available for morning, afternoon, or early-evening visits, and I can often accommodate weekend bookings. I plan my care commitments intentionally so every client receives dependable, unrushed attention. When caring for pets in their home, I keep their usual routines consistent so they feel safe and relaxed. Before visits, I always take time to understand your pet’s personality, comfort level, and any special needs. My background in veterinary care taught me how to handle animals gently and how to recognize subtle signs of stress, discomfort, or behavioral shifts. I’m calm, patient, and affectionate, always respecting each pet’s boundaries and pace. Your home and your pet will be treated with the same care and respect I’d give my own.
About: Experienced. Compassionate. Dedicated to Your Dog. I’m a certified dog behaviorist with over 15 years of hands-on experience fostering, training, and caring for dogs of all backgrounds and needs. My experience includes basic to advanced training, puppies, special-needs dogs, working-line K9s, behavioral challenges, and so much more. I believe dogs thrive when they are given the right balance of structure, mental stimulation, physical activity, and comfort. During their stay, I focus on keeping each dog active, engaged, and happy while also creating a safe and comfortable environment where they can truly relax. My goal is simple: for every dog to return home happier, more confident, and better equipped than when they arrived. I treat every dog as an individual and tailor their care and training to their unique personality, needs, and goals. Because your dog deserves more than just a place to stay — they deserve an experience that helps them thrive. I’m a full-time dog trainer, which means I spend the majority of my time at home while caring for your pets. Your dog will receive hands-on attention, structure, and supervision throughout their stay. Every dog will have a minimum of three outings each day, including potty breaks, playtime, walks, and even some time soaking up the sun if that’s what they enjoy. I believe dogs should have the opportunity to stay active while also having time to relax and feel comfortable in their environment. I start by giving each dog individual one-on-one time so I can learn their personality, comfort level, and needs. Depending on your dog’s temperament and your preferences, they may also be paired with other dogs who are a good match. Group interaction is always based on the owner’s request and what is appropriate for each dog. Interested in park walks or additional outings during your dog’s stay? Please request this in advance. Park outings depend on the season, weather conditions, and whether the activity is appropriate for your individual dog. All outdoor activities are fully supervised. Your dog will also have a consistent daily routine, including scheduled meal times, potty breaks, activity, rest, and plenty of personal attention. For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.
“Lillie was wonderful! She walked Shenna three days in a row when I couldn't, and Shenna loved her -- was so excited at the door when Lillie arrived. We did hour-long walks that ended up being around 2.5 miles each day, and my girlie always arrived back home happy and tired. I will more than gladly do repeat bookings. Thanks so much, Lillie!”

About: *Update: In regards to the new weekly feature, I can only do so in YOUR home. I am a cat person but I also love dogs. I'm an equal opportunist lol . I've taken care of cats, dogs, even hamsters, fish and plants for neighbors, friends, family and later on for clients through apps like these. I started taking care of pets at age 10 which was around the same time I got my cat, Allegra. I loved her like my own child. We would even take walks together. She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. My home is not open to animals at the moment and I can sincerely vouch that I will treat your home respectfully like mine or anyone else's. I'm also fully vaccinated and take Covid seriously. I don't mind wearing a mask for long hours or at all and will abide by any covid restrictions you personally have. My goal is to build a trusting relationship and to have more repeat clientele!
