About: I was a dog walker in NYC for 5 years prior to moving to the Hudson valley. I enjoy spending quality time with the animals and giving them a fun day! I work fully remote at a not for profit and I make my own schedule. The flexibility is amazing, the pay, less so. I supplement my income by hanging out with animals! In my home I meet pets where I find them. If they prefer snuggles I will happily oblige, if they prefer their crate that is fine by me as well. I take a similar approach at their homes. My goal is to make a hard situation easier for them as best I can by keeping routine.

About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles and fish for over 25 years. I love all animals, so much I am currently in school to be a vet tech. I am offering in house per sitting for all your pets needs as well as dog walking! Please give me a call to further discuss how I can take care of your pet!!

About: Hi there! I have 15 years of pet experience, especially with dogs, but most importantly love animals. Beyond prior pet care and volunteer experience, I've spent the last 5 years fostering dogs and have had my own dogs, one stubborn pup currently (house sitting without her), giving me the opportunity to care for and work with dogs of a wide range of needs both health wise and behaviorally. I love getting to know new pups of all ages, shapes and personalities and will be sure to provide them with the best time away from their family possible, following any routine and needs they have. Although notice is great, I am happy to take last minute bookings. With my work I can easily fit my schedule to your dog's typical exercise, engagement, and feeding routine. I would care for them however you request, and however they’re used to being taken care of. About: I have had a variety of animals throughout my life. Dogs, cats, reptiles(even an alligator at one point). I currently have 4 snakes as well. Those days when I am not available will not be on my schedule thank you! “Elise cared for our boy just like he was her own. He absolutely loved having her come visit and we cannot wait to book her again in the future.”

“Kari was wonderful with my aging chocolate lab. I was comfortable with her immediately and her care and compassion for Oakley were evident. I would use her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her.”

About: I am a current SUNY Ulster Vet Tech program student, and I am walking dogs because it allows me the flexibility I need for school work. I have been walking dogs since I was 16 and could drive myself to the dogs. I have worked in animal hospitals in the past but left due to my changing class schedule. Most of my classes are online so I have very open availability. I can fit pet care into almost any part of my schedule. My schedule does change depending on my class schedule. I do not live in a pet-friendly apartment, so I won't be able to bring animals to my home, but I can take care of pets at their home. I like to make sure that a pet's schedule isn't disturbed too much because it can cause more stress than they already have. I want your pet to feel comfortable with me, so I allow them to sniff me and get used to my presence before I do anything. Your pet is your family, so I make sure to treat them like they are mine as well.

About: Since childhood I've had a love of all animals. I rescued my first dog at age 11 from the local humane society. I picked up many skills along the way including basic training, animal handling, puppy socialization, medication administration, animal body language, administration of subcutaneous fluids, nail trimming, grooming, bathing etc. For several years I volunteered with a local dog rescue as a foster. We provided many dogs with the temporary housing, care and love needed prior to their adoptions. Many whom required socialization, structured environments, basic training and TLC. I also served as their foster and event coordinator until 2020. I have 3 of my own 4 legged furbabies whom i love to pieces. One of our previous dogs was an epileptic and required frequent monitoring and medication. Although I love my job with humans, I believe my true calling is with animals. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, camping, and sxs adventures. I love to hike with my pets, attend agility and trick training with our Belgian malinois, and spending time watching my daughter ride her horse! I am a nurse, currently working 12 hour shifts 3 days a week. This allows me plenty of time to care for your animals on my days off! My schedule is fairly flexible. Please check my calendar for availability and reach out with your specific needs. I will do my best to accommodate your requests. I am unable to care for dogs in my home at this time. However depending on your specific needs I am available to provide drop ins, dog walking and extended day care visits in your home. Providing personalized care in a safe and compassionate environment is my number one priority.

She has watched my own terrier-mix, Rocco, on many occasions, and Rocco absolutely adores her. Chrissie has been reliable, consistent, and adaptable with Rocco, and she obviously knows how to read dogs very well. She is also super flexible with her time, which has been a huge plus for me!
