About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember! As a teenager, I started volunteering at Misty Pines Dog Park Co., gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds and personalities. Later, I shadowed a professional trainer at Sandy Hill Kennels, where I helped with puppy training classes and learned a lot about dog behavior. When I turned 16, I officially joined the Sandy Hill team as a staff member, caring for dogs of all kinds. Now I'm 23, and have the privilege of working from home. I've always had a dog in my life, and right now, I share my home with two—Tucker, my 11-year-old rough collie who looks just like Lassie, and Ginger, my 6-year-old rescue hound mix who fully embraces the lazy hound stereotype! Since I work from home, I get to spend my days with them, giving them lots of love and attention. I’d be honored to care for your pet and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away! I work from home during the week (9-5), so I’m always around to give plenty of attention to the pets in my care. My home has a 4ft high, fenced-in yard, giving dogs plenty of space to play safely. However, I do live near active train tracks, so if your pet is sensitive to train horns, it may be best for me to care for them in your home. The sound is loud when you're standing outside as the trains pass by, but inside, it’s much quieter since our house is brick. My dogs don’t pay any mind to the train horn, though, so if yours are less sensitive, they’ll be just fine! At night, my two dogs sleep in their crates in my office, and I have spare crates if your pup prefers a cozy setup near me. Of course, I’ll always follow whatever sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable! During the day, my dogs are happy to keep your pup company, and they love having new friends around. About: I have had a dog my entire life. When my last one passed, my heart was broken and I haven’t been able to get another one. I watched my daughter’s dog for a year but took her back about a year ago to Idaho). I work from home and it’s very quiet without any four-legged friends to keep me company throughout the day. “Julia is excellent with animals! She has two of the most loved and spoiled dogs in history. These dogs are cared for extremely well. They eat well. They don’t just have generic food. She researched and found a healthy choice for them. They are taken on walks. If they are taking long walks, Julia has special water bottles that turn in to water bowls for them . She pays attention if the dogs are too hot or too cold. In extreme temperatures , she has special boots for them. She is very aware and caring when it comes to a pet’s needs.
