About: I've been an animal care giver ever since I was a child. We always had dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters! I've owned a Siberian Husky as an adult. I'm excited to treat your fur baby as my own! I am Cat and Dog First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross. I'm currently working full time as I transition out of the military in October with 20 years of service. After mid-October I will be in the home full time. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for fun and exercise. Additionally, I have a 9 year old daughter who loves animals and is kind and gentle with the. No pets currently live in the home.
About: Dogs have always been apart of my life. I have had many different breeds throughout my life. Taking care of dogs are my passion and I hope you choose me to help you out. I am currently doing online classes until July 13th so I will be available for drop-ins 3 times a day and walks 3 times a day. After that I can drop in however often is needed, as reasonable. I am not offering boarding services but I am available to take your dogs on trail walks or long walks in general if needed, I may offer house sitting services in the future.
“Heather was absolutely amazing! She had great communication from the very beginning and even scheduled a meet-and-greet beforehand, which made us feel so much more comfortable. She was incredibly attentive and asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood Nami’s routine and how to take the best care of her while we were away. Throughout our trip, Heather sent regular updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She did everything we asked and truly went above and beyond. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Nami and treated her like her own. We will definitely be booking with Heather again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy dog walker!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities for years, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. Friends and neighbors trust me to provide reliable, loving care ; whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays. I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away I’m a full‑time Army soldier, and caring for pets is one of the things that brings me joy outside of work. My military life has taught me to be dependable, patient, and calm, qualities I bring to every pet I watch. When your pet stays with me, they’re treated with the same love and attention I give my own two dogs. I have a small backyard that isn’t fenced, so all outdoor time is always supervised and safe. I’m very attentive and make sure pets stay close and comfortable during potty breaks or fresh‑air time. Inside my home, pets have a cozy, calm space where they can relax, play, and feel right at home. I don’t have any pets of my own yet, so your fur baby gets my full attention and care

I work, but my schedule is flexible enough to fit in regular feedings, playtime, and check-ins throughout the day. I can adjust visits around work hours, and I always make sure your pet stays on their routine with plenty of attention, clean litter, and love built in. I follow each pet’s routine closely meals on time, fresh water, clean litter boxes, walks or play as needed, and plenty of attention based on their comfort level. I’m patient with shy animals, gentle with seniors, and keep a calm, safe environment for everyone. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure pets feel secure, relaxed, and cared for the same way you would.
About: I have had dogs since 2013. I had three, I currently have two. One of them had epilepsy, this gave me experience with seizures and administering medicine. I also worked at a doggy day care for 1 year, there I cared for large groups of dogs. We fed them, changed out water 4-5 times a day, picked up after them and played with them. I'm knowledgeable about dog behavior and how to avoid situations that would be harmful. I know to test the pavement heat before a walk on hot days. I'm currently seeking steady employment but am wanting to make this my steady job. I'm available during the week from six am to 5 pm I'm currently unable to pet sit in my home. I'm more than happy to pet sit in the dogs/cats home that makes the pets more comfortable as well since it's not a strange house with strange smells. I'm more than happy to drop in or stay for awhile. I enjoy taking walks and it's always good to have a friend (your pet) with me.

“Nicole was amazing! I contacted her last minute to walk my pup and she was completely willing to help me out. Copper seemed happy when we arrived home later. I would definitely book her again :)”

Feeding, playing with, and letting out pets are standard, but I will also check in with clients for other in-home services, such as bathing, walking, or brushing the pets’ teeth.

“Sachiho is so communicative and I really trust her with my pup! My apartment was testing fire alarm systems when she happened to be there this week, and my dog was terrified. When I am sick or away, I needed to find someone who can give him the high energy walks he needs and I found that perfect person in Darya! Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
