About: Human and Dog psychology: I’ve been studying human psychology for 6 years and dog psychology for 2. I’ve been doing this as a hobby, not academically. I love learning about behavior, body language, thought processes, and how trauma affects the brain. Although I am NOT a professional dog trainer, learning about how to approach dogs, read their body language, and inspecting their health has helped me tremendously in successfully taking care of dogs. Senior Care: Dogs and Cats with hidden or obvious disabilities/illnesses. (Giving meds, preforming CPR, Heimlich maneuver, seizure care, taking your pet to doc appointments, mood swings, limited activities) Post-Surgery: (Making sure cones, casts, or accessories stay on throughout the day. Exercise/physical therapy. Careful handling, and creating a safe environment to ensure a successful recovery.) Upbringing: I’ve grown up with various pets, including: Fish, Birds, Lizards, Chickens, Cats, and Hamsters. I was always taking in strays, building makeshift shelters and feeding areas for animals or critters. I’m currently working 2 days a week, and my other appointments never go over 2 hours, so I’ll have plenty of time to tend to your furry friends! I give any pet frequent potty breaks, snacks 👀, play sessions, stimulating training, soothing personal attention, cuddles, and will send you lots of pictures, videos! One time, I bought 3 new toys for dog that isn’t even mine. 🫣

About: I’ve grown up around pets and always helped petsit for friends as a kid, I really did enjoy it and never saw it as a job or chore because i had fun doing it. I have successfully fostered 3 dogs so far and plan to continue that journey and make a lifestyle out of it. I believe that dogs need attention and care because they are very conscious and can think for themselves. I believe that most breeds need lots of stimulation to live a comfortable life! The times I am available definitely depends on the day. I do know for sure I am available for any day of the week but the times of each day will vary. I’m willing to work something out! If you are looking for a dog walker—- I am so happy to walk anywhere with them or even transport them to a nearby park if you would want me to walk them someplace else. If they are used to running with you I love running too and I’d happily get them more exercise by running, if not then i’ll just normally walk with no complaints because i enjoy doing anything outside with a pet. If you are looking for stop in visits—- i will do what you need by feeding and letting them out and even just sitting and giving full attention for a while. I’m also very comfortable doing meds if needed, i have experience giving oral pills or liquids and i have experience giving shots all while trying my best to keep the dog feeling comfortable. the worst feeling in the world is when a dog seems uncomfortable or anxious from me, i always do my best to keep them calm.

About: I owned a high volume dog daycare/boarding facility in Chicago for 14 years before moving to Nebraska. I’ve seen and done it all with every breed out there! I’m retired from the pet care industry and now raise/show my favorite breed. My schedule is flexible, and I can accommodate your pets needs easily. Once we know each other, I will be able to help your pet adjust to you being gone by keeping a nice routine for them. Feeding, playtime, chill time…I’ll keep it consistent and easy so your pet feels comfortable.

“Gwen is someone who clearly loves animals. Her love for animals comes through with how well she's taken care of our dog Jake throughout the years. She's responsible and thorough and will treat your animal with the same love and care as if it was her own. I highly recommend her!”
