My home features a secure, gated yard where pets can safely play and relax, and as a runner, I enjoy keeping active dogs engaged with plenty of exercise and outdoor time. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as a medical student off for the summer, giving me plenty of time and flexibility to focus on your pets needs. About: I've loved dogs ever since I can remember. I have experience caring for every breed of dog imaginable. Never found one I didn't love to the moon and back. I am a firefighter so my schedule can vary but I'll have lots of time to care and love your pup and give them all the scratches they deserve. I treat others' homes just like my own, if not better. I also don't mind grabbing your mail, feeding other pets, or watering plants if needed.

About: I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like. I am a stay at home dad with my 5 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed. I have a small fenced area for bathroom breaks, but the rest of my property (half an acre) is not fenced in. My own dogs are allowed off leash because they are trained, but for safety I would not allow rover dogs off leash in the non fenced portion of the yard.

About: I used to work at an animal shelter as a canine caregiver, where I worked with dogs of all different breeds, ages, sizes and backgrounds. I am currently a college student with a lot of free time and would love to spend that time doing what I love, working with dogs. I try to stay at the client’s home where the animal is the most comfortable. The client would normally show me their routine with the animal and I would try my best to follow as closely as possible during my time there.

From dogs to cats, rodents to reptiles, ducks to goats, and from newborn to senior, sick or in good health, I have cared for and nurtured just about any domesticated animal throughout all stages of life and am here to make sure that, no matter what, each and every animal is as happy as can be, because they deserve it. Four years ago, I lost my dog, Sugar, who I had since I was nine years old. We grew up together, and she meant everything to me. I've been trying to figure out how to fill that void ever since she left, but it's been tough man. Then I came across Rover. Now, I get to spend time with everyone else's dogs, and I see Sugar in every single one of them, which makes me want to give them the time of their lives. I appreciate everyone letting me watch after their pets. Most people do this for money; I do it, genuinely, because I love animals. Not just dogs, not just cats, but everything else in between. I've worked on farms and at pet stores, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats and rabbits, and even bred rodents for years - not to sell, but rather, just to care for and love. So this definitely is not limited to just canine and feline friends. I will care for any kind of animal. I have experience with them all. I work as a supervisor on 3rd shift right across the street from my house at a pet food manufacturing plant, making it super easy to take great care of your pet even throughout the night. I am home all day from 8am until 10pm, so there is really not much time ever where I won't be able to give your pet the care that it needs! I have a fenced yard with lots of room for your dog to run outside freely and plenty of room inside as well for a dog or cat or any other animal to roam about and go wherever their little heart desires. I have a young indoor cat who is very friendly and playful, a senior cat who stays in hiding, as well as two pet ducks that roam the yard who love friends. They have an enclosure of their own to lock them in if you are unsure of how your pet may react to ducks.

About: I have owed and cared for dogs, cats and all kinds of other animals since I was a kid. I am a life long animal lover and rescuer. I have worked with rehabbers to rescue all kinds of wildlife. My goal is to help every animal have the best life possible. I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend caring, playing and hanging out with your precious fur babies on my down time. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to roam and access to food and water constantly. I have a small dog to keep your fur baby company while they are under my care.

About: I've taken care of all sorts of animals sense I was a little girl. Some animals include farm animals and dogs and cats. I'm in veterinary technician school and have training skills. I'm working part time and am homeschooling so I have plenty of time on my hands to play, walk, or chill with your animals. I'm available all week after 9:30 am and available all weekend. I am patient and calm with pets. I maintain their schedule as much as I can and I can send photos of pets while your away!

About: Hello! My family and I relocated to Troy PA from Florida last year. My husband and I have 2 little boys who are in school now. I’m working part time for the Troy area school district and now that we have settled in, I’ve decided to open up some dog sitting/walking opportunities. Prior to moving we we offered dog boarding in our home. Our new home here in Troy will not accommodate in home boarding! ☹️ I’ve grown up with dogs and during high school I worked at a vet hospital for 2 years. I’ve owned dogs on my own since I was 18 and I’m 35 now. I look forward to the opportunity to care for your family members. I’m currently working for the Troy Area school district part - time between 930 am - 130 pm so this allows me plenty of flexibility. I treat my clients pets like my own and that’s like family! About: I’ve been involved with dogs and horses my entire life. I’ve trained a wide variety of dogs including, reactive dogs, puppies, seniors, small dogs, big dogs, nervy dogs and even some more challenging training like obedience and agility. With experience in house sitting, dog walking, public training, private sessions and more. I have knowledge in preventing medical illnesses and injuries as well as health and perfect diets. My services will not fail you on reliability, attention to detail, and flexibility. This would currently be my only job and one I would be more dedicated to. My household only has one vehicle at the moment so I would have to work around when my partner needs a ride to work and when I need to pick him up. But other than that I have plenty of free time to tend to your animals. Currently I am available to care for pets in my clients homes, your animals will be in safe hands as well as your home. Being attentive to animals is most important and making sure they get their stimulation for the day as well as exercise. My clients house rules and animal requests are at most importance.
