About: I have cared for a few different types and sizes of animals for a good portion of my life - including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, birds, bunnies - for about 18 years, give or take. I am very attentive and want the absolute best for your furry babes(s)! I can come to your home and stay with your them, as well as, check-in on them, walk them, feed them, play with them, give them lots of cuddles, etc. Unfortunetly, at this time, I am unable to care for your pets at my home, but I am working really hard towards being able to one day soon. I want the best possible care for your furry babes(s), as I’m sure you do, too! I do have a full time job, but have 3 days off a week. If you are needing help in the evening I can help even on the days I work! Feel free to message me to get more details and see if we can get something worked out. I am happy to be as flexible as I can be! I currently don't have a way of caring for your animals in my home, but I am happy to help you in any way possible at yours! Whatever you need, I'm sure I can be of service.

As always Juanita is amazing. She made herself available in a very tragic situation and I am beyond grateful. My puppies love her and are still waiting by the door everyday.

I am dependable, and honest and will keep your home as secure and clean as you left it. I take care of pets of shapes and sizes, including hobby ranches and farms, and exotics such as reptiles, fish, and birds. I currently have a hybrid work schedule with flexible hours to provide your pet with the service you hire me to provide for your pet As I provide in-home care only, I follow the routines and schedules you have in place, in the areas you deem appropriate for your pet. I have a flexible schedule and set my own hours for my day job nor do I require my own pets to stay with me during your requested services. About: I’ve had dogs growing up from chihuahuas to German shepherds and I loved them all they’re always so fun to be around. I like taking them on walks or just have them active and run around the house. I grew up with 1 or 2 dogs at a time, even when I was younger I’d take them out to go potty feed them and clean them off in the shower, take them on walks and even trips with my family when there was enough space and some were easier than others but I love all dogs no matter how hyper or relaxed they are. I’ll take them on walks, trips to the pet store, to the park, or have them run around in the house/yard! We also have a dog park up the street!

About: My family has owned dogs as big and energetic as Dalmatians and as small and laid back as mini poodle mixes— I’m really comfortable with all types of dogs. I know some look scary on the outside but have hearts of gold! I also have experience taking care of reactive/anxious type dogs and know the common triggers to avoid. I have a good sense of humor and just love dogs! I’m home from college for the summer and other than a few online classes, have a really open schedule. I don’t do walks on Sundays, but other than that I’m free! I take cues from the pet on how to proceed— if they are shy I will give them time to warm up to me before leashing and walking, or if they are excited and willing, I am too!

About: I have taken care of animals all 25 years of life doing anything and everything needed. I am a retired vet tech. So medical side I got you as well, I do also train dogs so that's handy if you guys have a dog needing training and board I'd do it all in the safety of my own home. I do have a couple dogs of my own that are young and well trained so they could assist the ones needing a lil help to learn the ropes if need be. Your babies would be well cared for and played out by the time you come home. I'm a disabled stay at home person, but that doesn't stop me from doing what I love I spend most my time caring for animals and doing many animal services. In my care your babies will be well taken care of and spoiled, and you will get pictures throughout the time they are in my care. My schedule is pretty open except during appts so I have allot of time to spend with animals who need care of any kind and so fourth. My place is a safe haven for all who need it, with constant time affection and care to keep all babies in my care well taken care of. If I'm watching your baby their safety is at the top off the list next to my dog who is a service dogs. I live in an apartment with toys and games for them to do and do daily walks with my boy so any dogs in my care would get the same unless they are unable to do walks I'm really an open book and have done soooo much in the animal field.

About: I’ve taken care of exotics ,cats, and dogs since I was 6 years old. I will love your pets like they’re my own I promise. Animals are just like babies they need love, affection, and of course all the cuddles! I’m working part time but I’d like to be able to give your pets and my children the best experience together or apart! I love to help other people out and nothing sounds better than enjoying my time with your pets ! I’ve missed pet sitting and spending time with animals is very therapeutic . I would cherish your pets like they were my own. Pets should be loved even more while they are stressed because their owners are away. I’d love to give your pets the best distraction with nothing but love !

About: I have always been an animal lover, and have had many of my own pets through out the years. I take dog sitting very seriously. I feel that it is a privilege and huge responsibility when taking care of someone else animals. They are YOUR family members and deserve to be taken care of well when not w their families. I like to have owners write down personality traits, behaviors, and expects for me prior to taking a job. A meet and greet is crucial and important to make sure your animals are comfortable with me and I with them. Having a sitter can be expensive but I promise worth it to have someone come to your home to eliminate anxiety or stress for the fur family and the animals. I will run and play and provide comfort for your animals. I personally enjoy the “unruly” ones that keep me on my toes because I believe every animal is trainable. Please consider me for your dog sitting, walking, needs. (Tri cities area only.) I have a very open and flexible schedule right now. I am partially disabled and pivoting from health care to animal care and I love it. I can not care for pets at my home right now but I am available for in home stays or drop in visits. Depending on what the pet and pet families needs are.

About: All my life I have loved and cared for animals. That's why after years of being the person my family and friends asked to watch and care for their pets, I decided to turn my passion into a part-time side hustle. I get excited on the days I wake up knowing I get to spend time with furry friends! I love all breeds and sizes of dogs, but I have particular experience with: Chihuahua's, Cocker Spaniel's, Terrier's, Labrador's, Retriever's, Pit-Bulls, Border Collie's, German Shepherd's, and Doberman Pinscher's. I'm currently attending an online university, which affords me scheduling flexibility for a variety of pet related needs. My own rescue dog, Bear has taught me so much about canine behavior and patience! He brings me continuous joy and fun every day. Rain, sleet, snow, or sun I pride myself on the reliability I offer. I have a genuine love for all animals and flexibility that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays including Christmas. My availability allows me to have flexibility in scheduling weekday and weekend pet care, including early mornings and late nights. I am able to provide multiple drop-in visits per day. I am also available during all school and national holidays, including Christmas. My schedule is perfect for weekend getaways, family visits, and even the working pet parents. I offer free meet and greets before bookings so we can discuss your individual needs and decide if I am a good fit for both you and your pets. I usually respond quickly so feel free to message me with dates, times, and any other relevant information. I understand the challenge it can be to find good, reliable pet care that's tailored to you and your pets unique needs and schedule. That is why I offer a variety of pet care options. Including, 30-minute walks, 60-minute walks, drop-in visits, multiple pets, daily and drop in visits and walks, overnight care and extended stays. I can confidently administer medication, provide bathing and grooming, playtime and exercise time, and feeding and watering. I tailor care plans so it is specific to each pet. I also provide photo and text updates to give you peace of mind. I specialize in providing care in your home, so pets stay comfortable in their own environments while you're away. For overnight and extended stays I also provide simple home security measures (mail collection, package pickup, lights on/off, trash and recycle bins takeout) as well as plant watering and simple home cleaning, at no extra charge. Also, I offer repeat clients a discount for referrals to friends and family (and they book a service with me)

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, I’ve house sat/ dog watched for my grand parents and a few of my mothers friends on multiple occasions, I’m great at what I do! I have a Pit/Black Lab mix, he’s almost 3 years old now, so pet care has been my everyday life for 3 years now! I spent a lot of time training him. In my own home the dogs are treated like how I would treat my own dog (unless there are specific instructions left by the owner) but basically they’ll get a lot of outside time because I’m constantly in and out of the house working on projects, the minute I come inside the dogs come inside with me. They get alot of love and attention!

About: I have several years of sitting and walking experience. I enjoy being physically active, handle large dogs well and try to make it an enjoyable experience for the pets. I am working from home at the moment. My schedule is flexible for scheduling. I will typically walk 4-5 dogs per day and board up to 4 per night. Fenced backyard, the house has plenty of space inside for running and playing when weather is bad. Dogs I own are very kind and playful. My home allows me to keep the Pets separate if needed.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 300 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Berrian. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Berrian. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Berrian.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Berrian. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
