About: I've grown up with pets all my life and have continued in my adult years. I grew up with Parots, Parakeets, Dogs and Cats, all at the same time 😊. On my own I have raised a couple cats and three dogs and helped my child with a Bearded Dragon and their dog. I have boarded my sisters dog when she needed one. I am self-employed with a flexible schedule so I can drop in and give your fur baby(s) some loving attention that they need. Right now, on Tuesday evenings I am not available after 4 pm. My dogs have a routine when it comes to snacks and meals. They are played with and showered with attention every day. It's very important to keep a routine so I would stick to your routine and instruction when caring for your fur baby(s).

3. Leah B.
“Leah (for as long as I’ve known her) has been a dog/cat mom. From the kitten in our dorm room, to the two dogs and 8 cats she now has, she has always been responsible and more than loving to each pet baby. She treats them like members of the family and they are obsessed with her. Couldn’t recommend Leah more!!”

About: Animal lover here! I’ve taken great care of my pets since childhood, watching cats, dogs, fish, and chickens! I currently have a 2.5 year old Frenchton, Pearl, who is my world! Over the past 10 years I have pet sit for my parents (dogs, cats, and chickens) when they travel, and more recently my sisters 2 cats. I have experience with small to large breeds, and potty training and grooming as well. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible in where I can work, and time I can give to walk and play with the pups. Pet safety is very important to me so I always am sure to keep a close eye on who I am watching. Even with a fenced in yard, I like to make sure I am with the pups while they go out to make sure they are safe and accounted for. Personally, when I leave my home, my pup prefers to be crated (I see benefits in both) and I take the owners instructions seriously in how they prefer their pet is best suited while being alone.

About: Our family has owned dogs for just about my whole life! Currently, I own a husky mix, and he is quite the treat. Neighbors and family have relied on me over the years to take care off their pets whether that he dropping in to feed, walk, or stay the night with them. I’m currently working as a commercial loan assistant, with plans to go full time as a credit analyst in April. I recently graduated from PFW in December, and am taking a couple classes this semester to finish up a certificate. My schedule is very flexible, even with my current responsibilities! As a responsible and passionate animal lover, pet care isn't just a task for me, it's an integral part of my daily and weekly routine! I understand that dogs thrive on structure and consistency, so I tailor my schedule to ensure their individual needs are always met. I will take care of my clients pets just like my own. I believe that the peace of mind knowing your pet is safe is something that needs to be established to build trust. I understand that every dog is unique and schedules can change. I'm flexible and adaptable, able to adjust my routine to accommodate their specific needs, including early morning walks, late-night feedings, or medication administration. I'm also comfortable with different activity levels and personalities, ensuring each dog feels comfortable and loved in my care.

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 4 when I got my first dog. I currently have two cats and would love a dog but my schedule won't provide me enough time to take proper care of one. I am great with training puppies and giving medications. I’m currently a Preschool Intervention Specialist and have my own special education preschool classroom through Lima City Schools. I currently teach August-May. My availability mainly opens up during the summer but love to help out during the school year around my teaching contract. I look forward to working with you! I am currently off for the summer so I can attend to pet care as much or as little as you need. During the school year as long as your schedule works around my teaching contract, I will be able to help you out as much as I can! I have plenty of experience with small, medium, and big dogs. I would prefer to come to you but in the need to have your pet at my house, I am able to crate dogs as needed at my home as my house has an extra room. Plus my cats are very friendly or just stay to themselves so your animals will be in great care.

About: Hi I'm Xaviana, I'm 29years old I absolutely love dogs, me and my boyfriend actually have a pit named tank he is our baby. I started house sitting dogs about a 4 1/2 ago , it's something that I have enjoyed doing over the years. I'm trying to hopefully build more shelters for dogs, to at least get a lot of stray dogs off the streets. Also I want to prevent a lot of the animal abuse and try to get them into safe homes . Dogs are like people to me they deserve love and also a home and someone to care for them. They deserve the best and I'm hoping that I can possibly make a career out of this one day. My plan is to save all the money that I get from dog sitting and donate it to the animal shelters to help and improve their living situations. Well I hope you guys will choose me to sit your dogs I feel like I'm the perfect candidate. I work third shift so I have open availability during the day to check your pets take them fro walks feed them and give them a little bit of play time I treat them as if they are my fur babies love and care for them just as their owner would I definitely make sure they are feed taken out for bathroom trip give them some time to run around play fetch

About: I have taken care of pets all my life. I have had a dog from the time I could walk and a horse since I was 4. Animals are a passion of mine. Currently I have three cats, 3 dogs, a horse, and a ferret. My cats are Lucifer, Loco, and Cleo. Lucifer loves to eat, Loco loves love, and Miss Cleo loves to be left alone. My dogs are Jezzi, Ziggy, and Auzy. Jezzi is a jack russel who loves belly rubs and to be the boss. Ziggy is a Texas blue heeler who is afraid of his shadow and has anxiety disorders. Auzy loves people and to play with other dogs, but she is 130 lbs and things she is a lap dog. My horse is Dallas and he love mini Oreos and to run all day long. My ferret, T-Bird, or the “crack weasel” as everyone calls him loves to run and sleep. My family and friends have always relied on me with their pets, homes, and children anytime they needed someone. Pet care is like a second nature to me, everyday at 5:30 I go to the horse barn and feed Dallas. My other animals get fed when I feed myself and their water is always filled. I work full time, if I am not working at Coopers in the morning I am babysitting. With my full schedule I always make time for each and every one of my pets whether that is playing in the yard with my dogs or playing with my cats, or even letting the ferret loose in the house to play with the cats or the dogs. When I am working in a clients home, usually if the weather permits I will take their babies outside to play or even the park for a walk. I also like to take dogs for car rides to get ice cream on a warm day. On a wet or cold day we stay in and play or lounge depending on the pet. Dogs and cats that need a little more training or help, I like to take time in the day to “make it all about business.” My dogs at home all know the basic commands and some others depending on the dogs, so it is fun to learn the difference between animals; for example my dog Ziggy, knows hug, move, and enough. People who own dogs like do not have anxiety usually wouldn’t know the meaning behind these commands. I use hug for Ziggy when it comes to new people because he can forget people in the matter of minutes and it takes time for him to get used to them again, the hug represents safety because most people do not know the command and how he reacts to it. The command move for Ziggy is also a command most people do not know the meaning behind. Ziggy’s anxiety constantly has him moving but when it comes to doors he has a tendency to sit and wait for someone to open a door before he jumps and nips them. Telling Ziggy to move makes him move to a different position in the house away from the door rather than telling him no. Enough is a command used a lot for Ziggy because his anxiety always has him barking and wanting constant contact, this becomes an inconvenience when I am trying to work on the floor or on my bed and he is walking all over my work space or even when I am just trying to take a deep breath. Telling him enough is like a heal command without the sit. Enough just means I’m not playing, I’m busy so go lay down. Working with a dog like Ziggy takes a lot of patience along with keeping a constant.
