“Cheryle is great! She sent pictures during the day which made us feel very comfortable that our dog was nice and relaxed and enjoys being with Cheryle and her dog. Her house is set up very nice and the backyard too. I would highly recommend Cheryle!”

“Elli was great. We needed someone to sit for our dog while we relaxed and went out to dinner while on vacation. We love to travel with our dog but hate to leave him in the room while we go out by ourselves. As it turns out, Ellie lives near the inn we stayed at and works there too! She very conveniently picked up our dog right at the inn and dropped him off when we were done for the evening. She also took a picture of our dog and was available to text to see how he was doing. He enjoyed playing with her dogs and I would definitely contact Elli again if traveling in the area.”

“Tetiana and her family have a loving, welcoming home and environment. We were met with smiles, shown around and we felt very comfortable leaving our pup. The communication during the booking process was great, as I had a number of questions. Tetiana was responsive and thorough. We found written Q&A better than a call. They were flexible with how we prefer care, food, exercise, rest, etc. We received nice pictures, videos and notes ... even though our stay was only 2 days. We will use Tetiana again when we have a need in the Berkshires, and I'd feel comfortable with longer if needed (and agreed upon). Each member of the family was fast friends with our dog.”

“Emily was so professional and loving with our best buddy Ebbet. He can be shy and nervous, and Emily was incredibly patient and thoughtful giving Ebbet time and space to acclimate to a new person. She went above and beyond and we are so grateful. Ebbet loved her, and he is choosy with his love 💗”

“Sandi was the absolute best dog sitter! Giddy was so excited to go to doggy daycare every day and was tuckered out by the time I picked him up. He loved spending time with Copa and getting to play outside often. He even got some healthy snacks! If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely we calling Sandi! Her whole family was lovely. We’ll miss y’all!”

“Amazing service! Vera went above and beyond. She was very attentive to Lilly and her needs. So glad that she got to play with Vera’s dogs and that they went on a long walk! We are definitely returning ?”

About: My love for animals began early on once I rescued my first childhood pet. Throughout my life I have walked and taken care of animals however, my love grew insurmountably when I rescued my first dog (Gordy) myself. Gordy and I loved walking, hiking, going on adventures, and snuggling. Unfortunately, in November 2024 he was diagnosed with a variety of complicated health problems and passed away in April 2025. That journey led me have experience in handling diabetic dogs (giving insulin, being aware of behavioral changes, and giving medication). I also have some experience/knowledge in dog training as Gordy was a canine good citizen. I am acutely aware of how to successfully walk and handle hyperactive pups and love to provide other enriching activities. I am communicative and love interacting with both dogs and humans and I find it important to gain the trust of you as I know all too well how much your pup means to you. I am a licensed mental health counselor who currently works primarily at home. I have a flexible schedule allowing plenty time for a good walk and enrichment while also providing appropriate downtime and attention. While I do live in an apartment, I have access to a number of parks in the Troy area while also willing to travel to surrounding areas for more fun.

“Our Marcie came home nice and tired, and didn't seem stressed at all. Mikayla has other pets that are friendly and sociable, so we are of course happy to have our dog have the opportunity to play and socialize with them.”

“Xena had a great time at doggy daycare with Kimberly. I’d highly recommend her. She kept in contact all day and sent photos and videos. Which is what any crazy dog mom needs! ??”

About: Hello! I (Mellysa) have 14 years of veterinary specialty and emergency hospital experience as well as fostering and pet sitting. Prior to that I grew up in 4H and was responsible for farm animals from large animals like cows, horses, pigs, sheep to chickens and peacocks and other fowl. My partner (Chris) and I work together petsitting and own an online business as well. We specialize in patients that have extra needs or need to have medications or treatments administered, but love healthy pets too! We can do daycare or overnight care at our house. We enjoy working with all types of breeds, young and old, feline and canine. For daycare or boarding, they must be under 15 lbs. I (Mellysa) am well trained to be alert and ensure your pet is comfortable and healthy at all times. We will never force your pet to do something that they do not want to do or is unsafe. My priority is for your pet to play safe and have fun! I can't wait to work with your pet! I work from home for my own business. I offer day care or boarding in our home. I love pets of all kinds and have vast experience with almost all, including reptiles! I have a fenced yard with several points of security. The plants are non toxic and no pets go out unsupervised. I take special care to ensure any pets respond well to my two small dogs for everyone's safety.

About: Hello! My name is Catherine, and I’m passionate about caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up with Newfoundlands, I’ve developed a deep love for big dogs and have enjoyed training them in water activities. My experience extends beyond just my personal pets; I’ve worked in kennels and as a petsitter for family, friends and neighbors where I gained valuable skills in dog care and rehabilitation, particularly with dogs facing challenges like fear-based aggression. Currently, I share my home with three dogs: two energetic Boxers and a fun-loving Chihuahua/Pug mix. I appreciate the unique personalities and needs of both big and small dogs! One of my dogs is a certified therapy dog, which has brought as much joy to him as his new friends. In addition to dogs, I have a deep love for cats (although my partner is allergic, so I'd love to come over and play with yours!). I have cat-sat before and would love to take care of your kitty. I have experience caring for various animals as a farmhand, including ducks, chickens, and sheep. This diverse background has equipped me with the skills to manage different temperaments and needs in pets. I also have experience with dogs that have special needs, including my deaf dog, senior dogs, and others that have required extra patience and understanding. I believe every pet deserves the best care tailored to their individual needs. My philosophy is that whatever decision is right for your pet is also the right one for you as an owner. I regularly pet sit for family, friends, and neighbors, providing companionship, playtime, and cuddles. I’m great at managing mealtimes and administering medication, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and safe while you’re away. Whether it’s playing fetch, going for walks, or simply relaxing on the couch, I aim to create a nurturing environment that your pets will love. Your pet's safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I look forward to potentially welcoming them into my home! Let’s connect and discuss how I can provide the best care for your furry (or feathered, or scaled) family member! I currently work full-time from home but with a flexible schedule. I am completely free on weekends. Due to my flexible schedule, I can be available for pet care during the day with enough advance notice (generally one week). Otherwise I am available every day before 8pm, after 5pm, and available on weekends and ESPECIALLY holidays! I will care for your pets in the manner that is the most familiar and comfortable for both you and them - this will always be a discussion prior to our first appointment. I am comfortable with crates, harnesses of all sorts (including gentle leaders), prong collars (but NOT metal chain collars!), slip leads, treat dispensing (everyone's favorite, of course!), clicker training, muzzles, electronic collars (which I am trained on and have been using for 12+ years, especially with our deaf dog), I will respect room and house boundaries (for both myself and your pet), litterbox cleaning, I will wash their bowls daily and as needed, play-based training and rewards, brushing, grooming/bathing as needed, etc.

About: I am an outgoing person and love being around dogs! When it comes to the dogs, I can bathe them, walk them, play with them, feed them, and more! My dog requires oral medication on a daily basis so I am able to do the same to your pets if it is needed! Even though they are our pets, they are our furry family members and deserve the best! When it comes to experience, I have watched many family and friends dogs while they are on vacation and now I am looking to expand whose dogs I get to meet. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, both mini Australian Shepherd’s! I hope to meet your pup soon! I am currently working full-time from home and am able to do drop-ins or walks on my lunch break depending on work meetings. I am also done by 5:20 everyday and can do after work drop-ins! When I am at your house, I will do whatever makes your dog feel most comfortable. I know they don’t like when their family is gone and it’s my job to make them as happy as they can be until their family gets back home!

About: My name is Jess! Thank you for stopping by! ☺️ I’m 27 and work from home in Adams, MA. I have a fairly flexible schedule and am a classic Berkshire native. I have been a pet owner and lover my entire life! My boyfriend and I currently have a black cat named Binx, who is the love of our lives. My family has two havanese pups, that Are in their golden years. We were pervious owners of a chocolate lab and poodle mix. I spent a good portion of my life around German Shepard’s and cats! I will care for your pets just as you would and am happy to provide in home care in their own space to provide the best comfort. I am confident in handling all types of breds and needs of pets. I’ve been an experienced dog sitter for over 10 years! Please consider me for your pets next walk, meal, or sleepover! I currently work from home full time! I prefer to chat to see if the conditions work for both myself and the pets! Always open to questions/concerns/inquiries! My message box is always open. I prefer to care for pets just as you would! I love to understand their current routine and try to keep things as normal as possible for them to prevent anxieties.

Catherine M.Star Sitter
“I can’t recommend Catherine highly enough as a dog caregiver! She recently watched my German Shorthaired Pointer, Atlas, and I was blown away by how phenomenal she was with him. From the moment he arrived at her home, it was clear that he felt completely at ease and excited to be there. Catherine’s home is like a second haven for him, and he absolutely lights up whenever he visits her and her wonderful husband, Oliver, along with their three dogs. Catherine is a highly skilled dog handler with a wealth of experience caring for various breeds. She has an incredible ability to connect with dogs, and it shows in how happy and relaxed Atlas is in her care. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with him. It’s comforting to know that Atlas is not only well taken care of but also genuinely enjoys his time with Catherine and her family. She is simply the best!”
