Olivia responded super fast to an emergency request where our dog Marley had broken out of our outdoor run while we had to drive out of town and would not be back until after 9pm. Olivia did a drop in visit and was able to get Marley and put her up for me in the dark of the night at a moments notice! Truly a LIFESAVER!! Cannot thank her enough!

About: Hi! My name is Cassi, and animals have been a huge part of my life for over 5 years. I have experience caring for animals in veterinary clinics, emergency medicine, and animal shelters, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities! I currently work at a veterinary clinic in Benton as a veterinary technician, and I have also worked in an emergency veterinary clinic as a technician and at an animal shelter where I cared for a wide variety of animals. Because of my veterinary experience, I’m comfortable recognizing when something seems “off” and know how to safely care for pets with medical or special needs. One of my biggest strengths is caring for pets who require medications or extra attention. I’m experienced with administering oral medications, injections, and insulin, and I’m comfortable following detailed medication schedules and special care instructions. I also have a soft spot for senior pets! I personally cared for my senior hound who was diabetic, so I understand how important patience, consistency, and extra care can be for older pets. I’m also very comfortable with anxious, shy, or more difficult pets. Working in veterinary medicine and animal shelters has taught me that every animal is different. Whether your pet is a happy-go-lucky dog who wants to play all day, a nervous pup who needs some time to warm up, or a shy kitty who prefers to hide and observe, I’m happy to meet them where they are and give them the care they’re comfortable with. I have plenty of experience with dogs as well! While working at the shelter, I regularly took dogs on walks and hikes, played with them, and worked with dogs with all kinds of temperaments. I love getting outside, going for walks, playing, and making sure pets get the exercise and enrichment they need. I also have a young Beagle puppy of my own, Maisie, who is very friendly and would love a playmate! If your dog enjoys other dogs and you’re comfortable with it, Maisie can tag along for walks or visits. Of course, this is completely optional and I’m happy to provide one-on-one care if your pet would prefer to have me all to themselves. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. I also understand how reassuring it is to know how your pet is doing while you’re gone, so I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos throughout my visits. Whether your pet needs a simple potty break and some playtime, a long walk, medication, senior care, or just someone to keep them company while you're away, I would love the opportunity to care for them! Your pets are family, and I’ll treat them like my own. ❤️🐾 I am currently in school and work at a veterinary clinic part time but I am mostly free in the mornings and late afternoons. I am free most weekends. My schedule can vary so we can 100% work out times that work for you! I care for every pet according to their individual routine, personality, and needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. This includes following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications, and plenty of attention and companionship. I’m very comfortable following detailed care instructions and caring for pets with special needs, including senior pets and pets requiring medications or insulin injections. I also understand that some pets are nervous or anxious around new people, so I’m patient and allow them to warm up to me at their own pace. I always prioritize safety and supervision, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so owners know how their pets are doing. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for just as they would be at home. ❤️🐾

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember, and my love for them started at a very young age! Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs of all different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, which has helped me become comfortable and confident caring for a wide variety of pups. I understand that every dog is different, and I love taking the time to get to know their individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks and playtime or would rather spend the day getting belly rubs and cuddles, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable. I would love the opportunity to meet your furry family member, spend some quality time with them, and give them plenty of love and attention while they’re in my care! 🐾❤️ My availability varies throughout the week, but I’m typically available in the evenings from 6–10 PM for walks, drop-ins, potty breaks, and playtime. I’m also available some weekends with open availability throughout the day, making it easy to fit your pup’s needs into my schedule. I’ll always keep my Rover calendar updated so you know when I’m available! I care for every pet as if they were my own! I make sure to follow the owner’s instructions and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. During walks and drop-in visits, I provide plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, fresh water, and feeding if needed. I’m also happy to give lots of cuddles and love! I understand that every dog has a different personality and comfort level, so I’ll always adjust my care to what makes your pet feel happiest and safest.

Tara is a fantastic sitter! She took great care of our cats while we were out of town for the holidays. She is prompt, communicative, kind, and professional in all her interactions. This was our first time ever using Rover so we were a tad nervous to book, but as soon as we met Tara we knew it was a great fit! We will definitely be booking Tara to watch our cats on our future trips.

About: I have taken care of my own dog since we have got her, aswell as dog sitting for others, or doing pop in checks since I have been able to drive! I have taken care of dogs all sizes and ages! I am currently enrolled in classes at Murray State, however I am not in classes for longer than 2 hours everyday, so I have plenty of time every morning, afternoon, and night to care for animals or homes! I live in dorms at Murray State, so I am unable to bring any animals into my dorm. However I am more than able to drive to your home to care for your animals, whether it is walking them, feeding them, bathing them, or simply putting them in a crate for you!

About: I have always had pets growing up, and have taken care of countless pets of all species, breeds, ages, and sizes for friends/family since high school. I love the challenge of winning over an animal that is hesitant around new people. The more stubborn they are to warm up to new people, the harder I try to win them over. But it is always at their pace and on their terms so that they are completely comfortable with me. Your pets will be loved and spoiled like they are my own. I am available during the nights for in-home pet sitting, with the option to pop in during the day to let your pet out and for feedings. When I care for pets in their own home I make sure that the pet owners show me where everything is located within the home for the animals, and leave emergency numbers such as vets in an accessible place in the case of emergency. I will take as much time with your pets as they need in order to be comfortable and well provided for.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
