“At first I was a little hesitant at booking her due to a bad review but I listened to my gut and I couldn't be happier! She took care of my baby Archie just how I wished. I would definitely book her again. I'm not sure where the other reviewer is coming from, absolute nonsense. I would trust McKenzie with my baby over and over again.”

About: I worked in a doggy daycare/boarding facility for over a year and would provide care for a variety of dogs. I completed multiple “Dog Gurus” training sessions for knowing dog behavior while working there. I also have cared for reptiles, rodents, & birds. I currently have two dogs, a Shih Tzu and an American bully. My work, family, and friends have always trusted me to keep their pets healthy, happy, and clean. Im excellent at caring for seniors, puppies, special needs, and reactive dogs. Also trained in bathing, brushing, ear cleaning, and nail trimmings if your pet/pets need any grooming! I can easily adapt my routine to make sure your pets get all the attention and exercise they need. I am available Monday-Sunday and on holidays. Your pets comfort and safety is the most important thing to me. I always do my best to follow your pets routine so they can be stress free while you’re away. I am a fast responder to all types of communication so feel free to reach out to me as often as you’d like!

“I'm happy to have chosen Joseph to walk my Husky, Maya! He would always show up for our designated time and day to walk Maya, no matter how cold it was. which I really appreciate. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone to walk their dog as I always knew she was in good hands. Thank you Joseph!”

About: I have pet sat both dogs and cats before and have lots of experience with both animals as I have my own. I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs and am happy to help out with whatever needs you may be. My schedule is very open so feel free to reach out with any questions. I am able to offer dog sitting for any amount of time and can provide as many potty breaks as you think is necessary. I am good with sticking to a schedule which is another reason I will be a good pick for the job. I have a strong love for pets and can't wait to help out and love your pets just as much as you do. I work full time but half of the day I work from home so I have a lot of open time. My weekends are also very open. I will care for your pets just as I would for for my own pets. I will also care for them just as you instruct me to.

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. I am the type to keep my dogs active whether it be playing fetch in the yard or throwing the stick in the lake for them to fetch. I believe in lots of play toys and chewys so they never get bored. I also understand the dog who might be more calm, maybe a little shy and likes time alone, and that is very understandable. I am a retired nurse and know pretty well the signs and symptoms of pain or discomfort. I understand the importance of proper nutrition and availability of fresh water. I lost my 14 yr. old lab to old age 2 years ago, and just recently got a new yellow lab puppy here in March. I really missed having a travel companion! I'm a unique pet/house sitter in that I travel in my beautiful Canadian Roadtrek Campervan and can house "watch" while taking care of your pets. I do not need to stay in your home. Any additional duties other than "watch" your house can be negotiated- like water a few houseplants, etc. I do ask that you provide a household electric (120V) outside plug in. My small RV uses approx. $2-$3 per day of electricity. I love animals. I have a yellow Labrador myself! I travel often in my RV and we make great travel partners often stopping at dog parks 2-3 times a day on our adventures. Beau would love to have playmates! I can only provide mobile pet/house sitting. I am unable to pet sit in the home I live in. I am a recently retired nurse. I am trained not only in human CPR, but I also have dog and cat CPR training. I have given pets medication, induced vomiting -per instructions while on the phone with a vet tech (after dog ate 1 1/2 lbs of bing cherries - pits and all. Happy ending! :). When I go into a home I find myself scanning countertops and floors for potential hazards for pets - things like medications, foods, hot boiling water on stovetop with handles pointing out, etc... I am constantly monitoring for potential dangers. Sometimes things happen though, unfortunately, that can't be avoided and that's when first aid, CPR, poison control line, and Vet info should all be available and handy. I ask that all instructions be written down and text/emailed to me 24 hours prior. That way if I have any questions, they can be answered before you leave on your relaxing worry-free vacation!

About: I have fostered dogs for 6 years through Save-A-Bull and Ruff Start Rescue with my family. All of which have been pit bulls or pit bull mixes. I have grown up around dogs of all sizes ranging from Pomeranians to Great Danes and have loved all of them :) I've also owned and cared for snakes, small rodents, birds, and cats so I'm comfortable with all animals! I am also more than happy to watch any other critters you may have- barn animals included :) I’m in college almost full time right now, but over the summer I may pick up a part time job to support myself while school is out. Whenever I am unsure I always ask for clarification. I’m extra careful about opening and closing doors, keeping objects of of reach, and keeping up with day to day schedules.

“Alyssa took great care with our dogs. Was mindful of their individual personalities and bonded with them so that they felt comfortable with her. She was punctual and caring. We will definitely be using Alyssa again. 🙃🐾🐾🙏”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life. I love animals, and I love being outside, no matter the weather! I’ll happily walk your furry friend! To me, the well-being of animals is only second to the well-being of people. There is ALWAYS time to care for our furry companions, and even more time to love them. I live on a farm, so my dogs have LOTS of room to run and play because I believe exercise is crucial to a dog’s well-being. I use harnesses rather than collars while they’re on their leash to prevent any pain or discomfort on their neck or throat. :)

Angie W.

“We found Angie on Rover.com. We met and introduced her to our 5 year old Maltese rescue and 6 year old border collie lab mix. Angie was really good about asking all the right questions to be sure she knew what and how to take care of our dogs. She also kindly downloaded an app so we could video chat when she came to watch our dogs. When she arrived at our house we were already gone and she video chatted me so I could see my dogs. She also kept a timeline for us while she dog sat. She reassured me every video chat so I could put my nerves to rest. When we arrived back home it was like she was never there as our house was clean and tidy just the way we left it. Thanks Angie we look forward to be at ease when we hire her again!”
