“Ashley was a lifesaver! My 12 year old dog had just had surgery and needed to be on crate rest with supervision and timed medication, but I had theatre tickets I’d purchased 3 years ago. Ashley came to the house the same day I sent the request. She was incredibly kind and caring with my recovering boy. She gave him hourly water breaks and was very gentle and understanding with his moodiness. She sent updates, was respectful of my home, and stuck around a little later when I got stuck in traffic. I would gladly call on her again! Thank you so so much!”

She did overnight house sitting for ALL 3 of my babies and did a fabulous job gaining the trust of my 2 rescues and my loving sweet boy Tyson. She even offered/asked for light housekeeping things she could possibly help with while we were away. She went above and beyond and for that im grateful!! About: I have had numerous pets over the years and been given the opportunity to pet sit and even farm sit for family members. I have experience with large dog breeds such as great danes. My family used to foster kittens from bottle fed to 10-15 weeks old and I loved every second of it. I dream of one day opening an animal rescue or sanctuary to help those in need and without shelter. I am a full time student so when my classes are out I sometimes walk around the downtown area and pet care or walking will fit perfectly into my schedule in this aspect. I come home after my schedule and immediately play with my pets and make sure they are feeling great and healthy. My three cats and one dog love coming in the backyard with me especially when I am gardening they spend time with me and I enjoy just being outside with them. Besides that I enjoy taking my dog on walks every so often around our block. I will always take care of your pets how I would mine! I am a better safe than sorry person so I will always ask more questions than not just to be safe!

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life from my own animals to my friends and families. I always was the first of my siblings to volunteer to help feed, walk, watch over, bathe, and learn about animals and it's since been a passion of mine. I'm currently working from home so I have my full day to care for your animals. I have a cat, Olly, so I definitely get creative with indoor/outdoor activities. I have a variety of dog & cat toys that your animal will have access to (depending on your preferences), puzzles and home made interactive games so your pup will constantly be entertained and hopefully tuckered out when returning home!

About: I’ve taken care of plenty dogs in my life. I’ve raised great Dane puppies from day one, and my pitbull puppy that I have now from day one. Everybody always praises me for how well I’ve done with them. I know how to give medication and any other special treatment required. I can do basic training, such as sit, lay down come here give paw and go potty. I’m currently employed and trying to do pet sitting on the side. I work Monday thru Friday, 7:30am to 3pm. I can do overnights, drop ins and walks when I’m not working. Where I live we have 2 dogs and 1 cat. I have two rats upstairs but they will stay in the cage while other animals are over. The cats name is Leo, he’s super friendly and loves all the attention. Their dog Fin is a golden doodle who’s about 9 months old, a bit wild but he’s a good boy who loves playing. My puppy October is a few months old, she’s a pit bull and she’s so sweet. She loves playing with other dogs and she’s very well socialized. We have a huge back and front yard (not fenced in) that I plan on putting a stake in the ground to chain a lead to. As I would parent children, I do the same with animals. “Gentle parenting” is what you would call it. Your animals will always be treated with respect, kindness and room for understanding.

About: I grew up with lots of animals and have plenty of experience. I have experience with senior animals. I have some experience in dog training as I trained my Labrador Retriever as a puppy in doggie obedience school. My Lab is now currently a senior doggie. We breed and raise pedigreed Mini Rex, and pedigreed Netherland Dwarf bunnies for showing and pets. My husband also has experience working with a vet some years ago, as well as experience in dog breeding. I'm currently a stay at home mom who homeschools a preteen and teenager. I'll be able to look after your pet during the day and he or she will not have to stay crated all alone at home. Our Labrador Retriever is a house dog and likes to play. So your dog will have a play mate if your pet stays with me in my house. Can provide frequent potty breaks for your pets. Can make special accommodations for boarding pets that don't prefer other dogs as long as they aren't dangerous. Our dogs stay on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. We do have some caged pets but they will be in a separate part of the house during boarding 🙂

“Lauren was a true Godsend for us and our extended fur-family! It was obvious by how comfortable she was around our dog and 5 cats that she was accustomed to caring for animals. The way she interacted with each of our little friends made us instantly comfortable knowing that she not only understood animals, she loved being with them and that caring for them was not just a job, but something she truly enjoys doing! When we came home from our trip, our animals were so chill-axed that you would have thought they didn't even notice we left as they were so comfortable having Lauren around! Not only that, our house looked even better than we left it! If the critters did get into anything and make messes (which is par for the course!) we were none the wiser! As her schedule permits, we will be reaching out to her many more times in the months ahead to care for our pets while we are away!!”

About: I have been dog sitting for my grandparents and walking their dog about once a week. I have one dog that I take care of as well! It fits perfectly, I’m doing online summer classes this summer and needed a part time job. I will have a lot of free time to care for other animals. I will do what is expected and take good care of the pets like they are my own. I would want someone to do the same for my dog.

About: I love all animals but not fond of insects. I grew up with bull mastiff's, cats and snakes. I prefer pets over most people these days! I have a very flexible schedule and am very reliable. I own an suv that is pet friendly. I can accommodate most needs to give a hand! I only want to pet sit at the pets home due to the comfort of the animal. I also would need to meet the pet prior to ever being alone with them.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life basically cause I have some , I’ve watched dogs over nights , I’ve helped my sister at the Chowan Animal hospital for a few years also.
