About: I am a college student at Virginia Tech who loves to take care of pets. I have 8+ years of pet-sitting experience. I also am a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in Richmond, VA, so I am very knowledgeable of proper, loving care of dogs and cats! As a student, I have classes most days, but I am frequently at home during the week and almost always at home on the weekends. I am also a very active person who loves to take dogs on walks. I wake up early, so early walks or feeding is not a problem at all. I live in a townhome in Blacksburg that has a private fenced in courtyard as well as a big open grass area behind my house, perfect for potty trips and fetch.
About: I have previously worked with Flying Fur, a doggy daycare and boarding service located in Newport, VA. Here, I gained experience working with various breeds and temperaments, and I would be happy to help you with your animal while you are away. In high school, I took small animal care as well as vet science, and have interacted with several of the therapy dogs on Radford University Campus. I am currently a college student working part-time, and I’d love to help care for your pet on my free time!! I am free weekly in the mornings and evenings! Can’t wait to meet your pets! About: Ever since I was born I had an animal right by my side . I have learned to take care of animals and provide for them. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbors pets in the past. I also have worked at a dog daycare called tail chasers so I have experience with big dog groups. I’m good with cats as well . About: I've had a dog all my life except for the brief interlude (1965-1970) while I served in the Marine Corps. Since my kids have grown and left home my dogs are now my babies. I'm retired and have a lot of time on my hands. I'd like to have the option of caring for someones pet now and then to give me something to do. I love dogs and rarely met a dog that doesn't love me right back. My dogs are almost always with me. Excepting - going to the store in the summer when the temperature in the car would be too hot. I make sure my dogs are safe and comfortable.
