About: I have grown up around so many animals such as dogs, cats, livestock, fish and hamsters! I’ve learned how to take proper care of and give them the life they deserve and more. I do then work full time monday- friday 10-12 hour days, but weekends and some weekdays i’m available and all for playing with puppies and any other animals! At home I do not have a fenced in yard and my dogs know the commands and know where they’re allowed to go and where they’re not allowed to go. At a clients house I will accommodate any needs their pets may have or continue with the animals routines as close as I can!

About: I have experience with most pets. I specialize in “high maintenance” animals. If your pet’s care routine requires extra attention to detail (meds/ supplements, specific routines) I have experience with all of that. I have owned horses for thirteen years, dogs and cats most of my life, and have been doing animal care for over five. I am available to house sit as well. Animal care is my job. I have clients with a variety of animals (horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs etc.) I schedule my personal activities around my animal care jobs. I do not offer pet care at my home because I have a very territorial beagle who does not appreciate new furry friends :) I have cared for pets at their own homes for years and have references from many satisfied clients.

Maya has taken my dog on two walks now and I'm very satisfied with the results. My dog, "Sissy" gets bored easily and starts to find her own "entertainment". After Maya spent time with Sissy, Sissy was content with lounging around the house until I got home from work. Maya sent pictures and quick updates of the visit assuring me that Sissy was getting great care.

About: I currently work at an animal shelter, where I care for a wide variety of dogs. My daily responsibilities include administering medications, cleaning and maintaining living spaces, walking, and socializing the animals. I also assist with humane calls and the safe capture of stray dogs. With this experience, you can be confident that your pets will receive their medications on time and that their environment will remain clean and well managed. In addition to my professional work, I have been a lifelong dog owner, which has given me years of personal experience in providing attentive and compassionate care. Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine. At the animal shelter where I currently work, I spend each day administering medications, cleaning, feeding, walking, and socializing dogs. Beyond my work responsibilities, I also care for my own pets at home, which means I’m consistently providing structure, attention, and affection. Because pet care is already a regular part of my professional and personal life, it fits seamlessly into my weekly routine. In my home and in clients’ homes, I make pet care a top priority. I focus on providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment while following each pet’s individual routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, administering medications, going for walks, engaging in playtime, and offering plenty of attention and affection. I also make sure to maintain a tidy space and monitor for any changes in behavior or health so pets stay happy and well cared for. My goal is to make pets feel secure and loved, whether they are in my home or in their own.

About: My schedule is extremely flexible so I'm able to drop in last minute when needed. I've had my dogs since they were puppies (they're now 10.5&11.5) so I've really gone through most major stages with them. I'll love your dogs the way I love my own. I'm extremely flexible. I own my own small business selling handmade items online so I truly make my own schedule. I never work on weekends and I'm flexible on weekdays and can fit your animals schedule into my day. I have a fenced yard at my own house. I can either let your dogs out in an enclosed yard or leash them for walks and potty breaks. Any cats boarded in my house will have an entire guest room to themself if they are not comfortable around dogs. My dogs have been around cats multiple times and are very cat friendly.

About: Hi! My name is Kate. I work at a veterinary clinic, and have recently relocated to Alliance from my farm down south. I have had all kinds of animals since I was three years old, from hamsters to horses. I lived on my farm for 15 years, we've had all kinds of animals including horses, donkeys, sheep, turkeys, chickens, ducks, and pigs, just to name a few. I currently work as a veterinary assistant and absolutely love being around animals. I initially joined Rover when I had first moved here, as I love animals and wanted to work with them until I was able to get back in the veterinary field again. Now that I'm employed again my schedule is not as free, but I love working with animals so much I am still available to help as much as I can! I currently work as a veterinary assistant so pet care is a part of my life from when I wake up and go to sleep! I'm very grateful to be able to do what I love. In our home we have a doggy door that our dogs can use whenever they would like while home. It goes out to a nice wooden deck and a yard where they have room to run around and play.

About: I treat every animal as if it were my own pet- with lots of love, care, and compassion. I’ve watched many many animals over the past couple years and have loved every second of it. I know how to give many types of medication to different animals as well. I am able to help out with any animal needs outside of my normal job. I always make sure they have what they need, get love, and get some energy out! I treat every animal as if it were my own. Lots of love and care go into every animal I watch/take care of. I try to make it so the animals aren’t focused on missing the owner as much. For house sitting, if possible, I always ask if my fiancé can come stay as well as I have trouble at new houses alone. I always will try to make it work if not though! He will also come with me to meet you and your fur babies for a more peace of mind if needed!

About: I've been a nurse for over 10 years, so caring for other beings is apart of my calling-humans and animals! I grew up taking care of horses, Guinea pigs, dogs and cats- my first job was actually a pet watching company when I was 10 with my best friend! I'd love to come love on your fur babies while you aren't able to do so. 🙂 I work remotely as a director in healthcare, so my schedule is flexible and able to accommodate specific needs. I am typically able to accommodate most times/days. I'd follow your lead! Whatever you typically do for your fur babies, I'd try my best to mimic. Communication is key, so I'd really rely on you to explain best practices and what your fur baby is used to.

About: I absolutely love animals and caring for them! I grew up with 2 dogs and now have 2 cats a dog and an African Grey bird. I’ve been dog sitting for years. I take pride in giving pups the best vacation of their little lives🥰 During the summer I have a very open schedule which makes it easy for me to dog sit or dog walk anytime of the day. I do go on vacation a couple times but usually not for very long, I also have a part-time job at the moment which helps for a flexible schedule to help people and their pets! I am very attentive and loving towards my pets and others I have had in my care. About: Hi, I’m Tate a lifelong animal lover with experience as unique as the pets I care for! I grew up surrounded by animals—horses, dogs, geese, and barn cats—and I’ve been a trusted sitter for everything from puppies to parrots, bottle babies to bearded dragons. I have a special heart for pets with extra needs, including those with anxiety, reactivity, or medical concerns. I’m experienced with insulin administration, glucose monitoring, and special meal prep—your pet’s routine is safe with me. While my husband was serving in the Air Force, I spent four years caring for military families’ pets near Dyess AFB while completing my college degree. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, chickens, exotics—you name it, I’ve probably cuddled it! I genuinely feel like I speak their language. Whether your pet is high-energy, shy, or needs a little extra TLC, I’ll meet them where they’re at—with love, patience, and lots of care. Pet care isn’t just something I fit into my routine—it’s something my routine feels incomplete without. After earning my degree in graphic design and moving across the country, I had to say goodbye to the fur family I sat for in Texas. That shift made me realize just how much joy and purpose pet sitting brought to my everyday life. These days, I work from home on flexible, self-paced art and design projects, which means I have the freedom to take breaks, make visits, and give pets the attention they deserve—whether it’s a midday walk, medication, or just some much-needed love. Caring for animals brings balance and warmth to my day, and I genuinely look forward to every tail wag, meow, chirp, or cuddle. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, my top priority is maintaining their usual routine and environment to minimize stress and keep them feeling safe and secure. I take time to understand each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s playtime outside, quiet companionship, or extra TLC for pets who are shy or reactive. My approach is experience-focused—I’m not just there to check a box, but to make sure your pets are truly cared for and comforted while you’re away. I also believe in leaving your home as tidy (or better!) than you left it. I often vacuum or sweep, take out the trash, bring in mail, and keep up with litter boxes, enclosures, and yard clean-up. My goal is to provide total peace of mind—both for your pets and for you.

About: I’ve been around animals since the day I was born. Currently I’m in college for veterinary technician, and working as a veterinary assistant. Animals are my passion and I love to work with them everyday. If you want a bath, or nail trims done I can also do this as well. Currently I am working full time but I have free evenings and my weekends are free along with a few designated weekdays. I can board pups overnight on certain days, or walk your pets in the evening if you’re out late. I have a husky mix and 2 Shepherds who can keep your pups company while they stay with me, along with daily walks that we take them on. We enjoy hiking as well, therefore with permission can take your pup out!

FAQs for Dog Walking - Beloit

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 801 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Beloit. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Beloit. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Beloit.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beloit. On Rover:

  • 96% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
