“We used Phoebe as a house dog sitter for the 1st time - and would be happy to use her again. She was very conscientious and took fantastic care of our sometimes shy dog Nuka. She quickly brought her out of her shell and Nuka was quite relaxed and attached in no time. Phoebe took great care of our farmhouse.”

“Ruth did a great job watching our pups over the holidays, through very cold weather and unseasonably warm weather. Our 16 yr old lab and our 4 yr old rat terrier enjoyed going for walks, and staying warm on the couch with her. Ruth managed meds and a mild upset tummy for our senior lab with no trouble. It was great to know that our dogs were in good hands while we were away. I felt especially grateful that we were able to book her over Christmas and I will definitely try to book Ruth again.”

We weren't sure how our 4 dogs would react because they had never stayed home with anybody else. The only other person who cared for them was a close friend and they stayed at her house. But, we could tell they were well cared for while we were gone. The house was in good shape as well. We will definitely ask Rae again.”

About: I’ve taken care of varying breads, personalities, and sizes of dogs for over 5 years. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, so I would be grateful to take care of yours! I truly love being around animals, and getting some additional time outside through walks is always a bonus for me! I work remotely with flexibility in my schedule so I’m happy to take on last minute needs! I’m happy to host at my house, or stay at yours. My house includes a great neighborhood for walking, and a fenced in back yard. As for weekends, I’m typically available and open to last minute requests as well. I consider myself very detail-oriented and take instructions and safety needs very seriously. For example, I keep a organized binder of notes, phone numbers, and instructions for each pet I care for.

“We were very pleased with Maya, she watched our family dog "Happy " on two different occasions while on vacation for a period of a week. She kept us informed on how our dog was doing and also sent us daily pictures. We felt at ease that we could get away with any concerns. Maya seemed to truly enjoys caring for animals. Leaving my dogs is stressful enough, but especially so since we are new to the area and they are still adjusting to a new state/neighborhood/house, etc. My dogs are anxious around new people (and I can be a bit extra about their care...) but Julia put us all at ease - she listened to my long-winded explanations of the dogs personalities and needs, asked good questions, and sent regular updates with photos while she was here. The house was in great shape when we returned and I could tell the dogs were well cared for. I would definitely recommend Julia as a sitter and would have her stay with my pups again!”
