About: I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, love, and attention to their unique needs. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs extra playtime or a shy cat who just wants quiet companionship, I adapt to each animal’s personality. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced with everything from basic care to administering medications. My goal is to give pets a stress-free, comforting experience while keeping you updated and worry-free. I'm currently studying for my exams and only working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to your fur babies! I am available 7 days a week, from 10am-9pm. For dogs, that might mean exciting walks, playtime in the yard, tug-of-war, fetch, or just some good old belly rubs and snuggles. For cats, I’ve got feather wands, laser pointers, and cozy cuddle sessions covered (if they’re the snuggly type, of course!). I love creating a happy, low-stress environment where your pets can relax, play, and enjoy their day while you're away. Whether they’re high-energy or more laid-back, I’ll match their vibe and make sure they have a purr-fectly wonderful time! 🐶🐱💛

I’m pretty much always able to work around whoever needs sitting! I offer drop ins to keep your pets company, let them out, feed them, and give them the love and attention they need. I can house sit as well but prefer a meet and greet before to establish trust and safety!

About: I have taken care of so many different dogs and cats and other pets since I was 10 years old. I have watched for friends and family and really enjoy spending time with pets. I work on reduced time at amazon so I work on Sundays, Monday and Tuesdays and then on thursdays and fridays I work at a dog boarding facility. I take care of pets in the clients home just because my dogs don't get along with other pets. But I give the pets 24 hour love and attention. I love taking dogs on walks and playing fetch with them. I also love when the dogs sleep with me at night. I can also take care of pets that have medications too.
About: Hey there, my name is Emily! I’ve worked in a professional kennel for 4+ Years and have had animals my entire life, so I am very experienced with pets of all shapes, sizes and species! I have been trained my a professional Veterinarian to administer medications to Cats and Dogs alike in a way that promotes trust and respect between myself and your pet. I understand animal body language and want to make your pet as comfortable and safe as possible. I am flexible with my hours on the weekends. As of right now I am unable to take in boarding clients, however, please do check out my availability for my other services! Your support in my business will directly help add to my and my husband’s IVF fund so we are able to build a family of our own! Thank you for the consideration, and please do reach out if you have any questions! During the week I am a behavioral health scheduler and resource navigator for a major hospital in the area. I am mostly available on the weekends, but if you need me after 4:30pm we can always work out the details. I take pride in my ability to build trusting relationships with animals. I do this by going at the animal’s pace. I do not rush the trusting bond process - this is key. I have lots of empathy and compassion and my main goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy when away from their owners. I speak in a calming voice, I let the animal sniff me, and I do not ever back them into a corner or have them in a situation where they feel overwhelmed or overpowered. I enjoy giving cuddles, treats, and many praises throughout our interactions.

“Barbara did a great job taking care of my boys (cats) while I was away. She showed up as scheduled and took care of feeding and cleaning the litter boxes. I got photos each day which was fun to see and a video one day as well. Nice to know that they were well taken care of!!!”

“Natalie was a life savor helping us in a last minute dog watching need! Our dog became sick just before a trip (unable to go to the boarders) and Natalie was able to help us with less than 24 hours notice! She took wonderful care of our dog and was great at giving updates!”

“Our cats love when Diane comes by to check on them. Our youngest cat is scared of dang near everything and doesn't like strangers but even he comes out for playtime/pets when she comes by. She really takes the time to play with the boys and make sure they are well taken care of.”

About: Hi! I’m Gaby, a full-time professional pet sitter and lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals isn’t a side job for me, it’s full time job and passion! One of the biggest benefits of booking with me is that I do this full-time, which means your pets receive far more attention, companionship, and supervision than they would with sitters who work traditional 9–5 jobs or are in and out all day. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches of the day, and their comfort, safety, and routine will always be my top priority. I have professional experience working in daycare and boarding environments, including Kennelwood Animal Resort and Y Bark Alone. Through that experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable administering medications (both oral and injections), handling puppies, seniors, and special-needs pets, and recognizing signs that a pet may be stressed, anxious, or unwell. When I watch your babies, they aren’t just another booking. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the individualized care they deserve. You’ll receive tons of pupdates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. My goal is to become the sitter you can rely on whenever you need help, a trusted person who treats your pets like family and provides the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own! I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies!🐶🐾 Rover is my full time job at the moment so my schedule is very open to give your pet the proper time and attention they deserve. How I care for your fur baby is completely contingent on the owner. I follow all guidelines they have set in place whatever those may be. But you can trust they are always in the best of hands.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 16 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Beechville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
