“Betsy loves her walks with Melissa!!!❤️”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and personalities. I’m originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, and currently a full-time undergraduate student at Virginia Tech living in Blacksburg. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a calm senior dog, I pride myself on providing attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I’m here to give you peace of mind while making sure your pup is safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently working full time during the summer here in Charlottesville. However I’m free for walks before 9am and my work day is over at 5:30. I prioritize safety by keeping a clean, pet-friendly environment and following each pet’s routine closely. Whether in my home or yours, I ensure secure spaces, constant supervision, and lots of love and attention to build trust and keep your pet comfortable.

About: New to Rover, but not to pet care :) I grew up with animals great and small. I've had dogs of all sizes, cats, horses, snakes, mice, chickens, and one skunk. All of my dogs are rescues, so I'm no stranger to reactive dog care and I'm well-versed in positive reinforcement training styles. I love all animals, but I've got a real soft spot for the senior babies. I recently lost my own 16 year old pittie, so I'm comfy in a space that may require a little extra effort. I'm a weightlifter in my free time, so I can easily help any size senior with any mobility issues 💜 I'm starting on Rover after losing my 13 year career in analysis to federal funding issues. My schedule is quite flexible and free, though I do have to be home at night to care for my own four-legged family members While I'd love to offer care in my home, I do have my own pets and introducing new babies to the mix can be stressful for all involved. In your home, I will love on your fur babies as if they were my own. They'll have a cuddle buddy (if they choose), engaging playtime, and treats (if you choose). I also spend quite a lot of time at the gym I own in downtown Charlottesville, so if you'd be comfortable with field trips, I'd happily take them out for some extra socialization.

“Michael was great with Finn!”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets over the years. Neighbors, family, and friends have relied on me to feed, walk, and bathe their pets. I’m currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after 11am. About: Hi, I’m Leanne! Dogs have always had a special place in my heart, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I’ve spent years looking after dogs of all breeds and sizes, from growing up with family pets and fostering for a local rescue to caring for my own beloved Goldendoodle, Remi. She was with me for 10 wonderful years and taught me what it truly means to care for a dog like family. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust completely with your dog- not just for feeding and potty breaks, but for companionship, affection, and consistent care. I treat every dog I look after as if they were my own, offering patience, attention, exercise, and support for any medical needs. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in your home where your dog feels most relaxed, I’m here to help keep their routine smooth and stress-free. My schedule is flexible, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your needs. If you have any questions or just want to connect before booking, I’d be happy to chat. I look forward to meeting you and your pup soon. My schedule is flexible and I never leave the dog unattended for long periods of time if I’m dog sitting for extended periods of time. I care for each pet as if they were my own, always staying mindful of their unique needs, sensitivities, and any triggers they may have at home, outside, or around others.

I look forward to meeting you and you’re families and hopefully be honored to care for your lovely pets! I have a flexible schedule and am very accommodating. If there is a will there is a way is how I think of things, you can always count on me! Unfortunately at this time I do not do in home boarding as I have my own little circus of fur babies who are friendly but just don’t like change.

About: In a home with lizards, fish, a cat, a dog, and a flock of chickens, I spend my days tending to the heard. Animals all with their own unique personalities and each requiring different levels of care. Feeding, Bathing, Grooming, Spoiling with TLC, I do it all! I am a new mom and spend my days at home so I have a lot of free time to pop over and care for animals as needed At my house the dog and cat are indoor/outdoor pets who come and go when the please, as the door is usually wide open! Because of this I usually opt. to care for pets in the comfort of their own homes and abide by the routines they are adapt to.
