About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do on the side—it’s what I’ve built real experience in. I’ve worked hands-on with dogs for over three years in professional settings, including daycare, boarding, and off-leash adventures, and my most recent role was at a training facility where I learned how to safely manage dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also own a dog of my own, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is always to provide structured, attentive, and genuinely loving care so every dog feels safe, happy, and understood. I am also attending school to become a professional canine trainer. Pet care is my entire life. I have dedicated all 7 days of the week and 365 days of the year towards taking care of others and my own animals. Need last minute boarding due to a family emergency? I’m your girl. Everything else closed when you have work? I’m your girl. Taking a weekend trip but no where is open? I’m. Your. Girl. I am not only here for the convenience of you but also your beloved furry friends My yard is currently not fenced,(fence coming soon!) but I do offer leash training for more enjoyable walking experiences. I do daily walks for all dogs no matter the training level they are at. I have 1 very friendly lab mix who would keep your dog friendly dogs company, and I also offer special care for those special pups who are more people dogs than dog dogs for no additional charge. If your dog is crate trained they will be crated for bedtime (9pm-6am) with overnight potty breaks if your pup requires them as well. I keep all dogs and cats separated. Dogs have the downstairs of the home, and cats have the upstairs. I am comfortable with administering basically any medication except needles, the only needle exception being for diabetic animals.

“We were so happy to find someone who is fear free certified & uses positive reinforcement and were thrilled when Maria let us know she was available to watch our 7 month old puppy on short notice. Our puppy had never been alone or away from us so we were very nervous but when we arrived at Maria’s home, we were put at ease when she let him approach her vs. coming over to greet him as he can be a bit shy at first. Our pup took to Maria fairly quickly and once we went inside, Maria introduced her dog Lalo. Lalo was very sweet and so patient with our pup who was extremely excited to have a friend to play with. We were worried our pup would have a hard time with us leaving but we were actually able to sneak out the door/leave while our pup played with Lalo! Our pup is a high energy breed and Maria made sure he got both physical and mental stimulation by bringing him on several walks and offering a Kong. He slept almost the whole 3 hour drive home! We received our first update from Maria shortly after we dropped off our pup and she continued to send frequent updates and texted back very quickly - again putting our worries at ease! We would absolutely recommend Maria and if we are ever in the area again, utilize her services!”

About: Nous avons été famille d'accueil pour Mira pendant 5 ans donc patience et constance avec les canins, on connaît ça ! Nous avons également fait du gardiennage dans 4 domiciles distincts dans les 4 dernières années pour les vacances estivales des propriétaires :) (avec chiens et chats). Chez nous, l'accès à un sentier à 100m permet les marches et randonnée fréquentes avec votre chiens. On a également une cour arrière cloturée au besoin. J'aime faire également les soins de base pour les chiens pour être certaine que tout va bien :) We were a foster family for Mira for 5 years, so patience and consistency with dogs are definitely something we’re familiar with! We have also provided pet-sitting services in 4 different homes over the past 4 years during the owners’ summer vacations (with both dogs and cats). At our place, there is access to a trail just 100 meters away, which allows for frequent walks and hikes with your dog. We also have a fenced backyard if needed. I also enjoy doing basic dog care to make sure everything is okay and that the dog is healthy. J'ai une horaire atypique et j'ai la possibilité d'organiser mon temps à ma guise. Lorsque je suis au bureau, mon conjoint est 100% en télétravail ce qui nous permet de toujours avoir un oeil sur le chien :) I have an atypical schedule and the flexibility to organize my time as I wish. When I am at the office, my partner works 100% remotely, which allows us to always keep an eye on the dog. Nous sommes plutôt de type grandes marches ou course (avec plaisir!) et nous avons une cour arrière clôturée donc jeux de balles. À l'intérieur, nous misons sur un comportement calme du chien en l'occupant intellectuellement, avec un os ou un jouet et beaucoup de séance de gratouilles. Lorsque l'on garde à un autre domicile, nous essayons le plus possible de garder l'horaire type du chien présent et sa routine. (ex: marche tous les midis à l'extérieur) We’re more the type to go on long walks or runs (happily!), and we have a fenced backyard for ball play and outdoor games. Indoors, we focus on encouraging calm behavior by keeping the dog mentally stimulated with a bone or a toy, along with plenty of cuddle and scratch sessions. When we care for a dog in another home, we do our best to maintain the dog’s usual schedule and routine (for example, a daily outdoor walk at lunchtime).

About: From a young age, I knew my life’s work would involve animals. I began horseback riding at age ten and quickly expanded into caring for the lesson horses, later managing a boarding barn and earning my riding instructor’s license. After moving to Vermont, I worked at an animal shelter for dogs and cats, which inspired me to pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology. For over 15 years, I’ve worked as a Certified Veterinary Technician, gaining extensive experience in animal care, health, and behavior. Now, I’m excited to focus on providing pets with comfort, safety, and companionship while their people are away. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for walks and visits. I'm available on the weekends for boarding and a couple of days during the week. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your family member company. We have lots of land and trails to walk on. I have a large crate available if needed.
