“Alaura was great! She checked on Stache every day and sent us a picture. We knew that he was being well cared for. Alaura even watered my indoor plants! That was appreciated. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care. Thank you, Alaura!”

About: Hi! I’ve worked as a kennel technician for about a year and a half and have experience caring for dogs in a boarding/daycare environment. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, cleaning, handling high-energy dogs, recognizing signs of stress or discomfort, and providing a calm and safe environment for pets. I also have experience administering medications and following specific care instructions to help keep pets comfortable and on schedule while their owners are away. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats and understand the importance of patience, consistency, cleanliness, and paying attention to behavior changes. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and happy to provide updates/photos during visits so owners can feel reassured while away from home. I currently work part-time, so my availability may vary week to week. However, I keep my schedule updated and am happy to accept bookings that fit around my work schedule. I’m especially interested in flexible drop-ins and short-term care. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I always try to follow routines closely, pay attention to behavior changes, and provide a calm and patient environment. With my kennel/daycare experience, I’m comfortable handling different personalities and energy levels while making sure pets are cared for safely and responsibly.
“Carolyn was amazing with our two dogs. She was always on time and sent numerous pictures of them playing outside. She even went as far as picking up a prescription for our black lab.”

About: I can do boarding for any friendly cat since I have 2 kittens but it would be hard for me to watch a dog in my apartment or board a dog so I would have to come to your house to watch your dog. For any visit that I will make to your house, I will make absolute sure that your dog is comfortable with me being there, then I will gain their trust so that every time I come back they will get more and more happy that their friend Nikki is coming to take care of them! If your dog needs a walk, don't worry! I have experience with a dog that weighs a good 100 pounds, so they can't run away from me! I'll even clean up after your pooch after they go to the bathroom, just to make sure your neighbors don't get angry with me! Also, any animal I meet I love, so that means any job I take, I will be more than happy to keep returning to your house, or walking your dog(s)!

We have a 2 acre yard that my pups are free to roam via a underground fence. But we also have a lead for my moms dogs when she brings them over to play. We have a big house with a good sized living room and kitchen where all of my pups play as well when we have to be inside.

About: I have had cats, dogs or both my whole life. I understand how important your pets are because I know how important mine are to me. I have experince caring for anxious animals and will be able to be patient and supportive for your babies if needed. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs and same for cats. My dog currently takes medicine multiple times a day so I have no problem giving out meds if needed. I know how stressful it can be to leave your babies behind to go on vacation or work trips. I am confident that I can help easy your worries and your pets stress. I have open availability as I work from home so I can spend the majority of the day with your animal. I work for myself so I don’t have a normal 9-5 in an office. I have pretty much open availability since I can work anywhere. I am pretty easy going and flexible so Im always down to work with you to come up with a plan or schedule that works for you. My long term boyfriend and I typically will tag team any bookings we get to ensure that your animals are not ever alone for longer than absolutely necessary. We prefer to both be present for any meet and greet so we can all get acquainted. We moved up to Johnstown from Austin tx this past summer & luckily have picked up offering this service up here. We are also typically can work long term stays. At my house our pets come first. I have 4 cats that run my household. I got my girl Kevin when she was less than 4 weeks old. She was abandoned by her mom or somebody. It was like having an actual infant in the beginning with the waking up at night to feed and help her potty. i am very capable of watching tiny kittens or even a litter. I adopted Binks so kev would have a friend and lose the only kitten syndrome she had. Binks is developmentally slow and partially blind she came from an abusive home before me so it’s taken almost 10 months for her to come out of her shell so I totally get it if your cat is a hider and just needs someone to come sit in the home for a bit. We recently also took in two kittens from the same litter. Their other siblings and mom died from a dog attacking them and then these two were left for dead. They were so tiny so I couldn’t just leave them when I heard about it. So now we have added Karl, & Toast to our family. Toast is our only little boy. I am comfortable with most dogs as well. I just would want to meet them with you present the first time. So for you with your animals I would treat them with the same amount of love I do with my own. My goal would be to make it as seamless of a transition as possible with yall being gone and me being there. I can stick to whatever they are use to whether it be crating them for bed or snuggling up together.

I am currently working a part time flexible job so it will be very easy for me to have an open schedule to care for peoples pets. I always make sure whatever pet I am around that they feel comfortable with me. I will carefully listen and understand a pets routine making sure their routine doesn’t get off track. About: My motto is that it's my responsibility to make sure that each dog under my care is HAPPY and SAFE. Every day that I'm with your pup, I keep that motto at the forefront of my mind. I know how important dogs are to our lives, so it's my duty to make sure that your pup gets to experience the same kind of love and care that they're used to at home. I'm a huge dog lover, so making pups as happy as I can, just comes second nature for me! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It's a great way to make sure that we're all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it's always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I'm a welcome presence here to make friends, and I'm sure we'll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it is to be away from your best friend, so communication is the name of my game. I'll make sure to send plenty of regular updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having! I’m hoping to make Rover a full-time career! That’s how much I love animals! I’m very flexible with all your pet caring needs so if there’s anything I can help with, please let me know! Although I'm unable to watch your pups at my home, I'll make sure they're safe at yours! I make sure I understand the pups needs, routine, and any specific care instructions provided by you, the owner. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, ensuring their environment is safe and clean, exercising them, and administering medications or treatments if required.
