About: I've been around and owned dogs all my life. My breed of choice is the German Shepherd, but I've had many different furry friends in my life. I also spent 7 years volunteering at Saving Grace in Raleigh - helping with rescue dogs. I'm retired, and I see this as a way to enjoy walking and being with dogs. All three of my shepherds were trained by me. One was off-leash trained. I'm just interested in walking dogs, but as I've stated, I'm highly trained to walk and care for any breed. Your pup will have fun walking with me!

About: Hi! I work from home, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention and supervision. I’m a dog owner myself. I understand how important routine and exercise is. I work from home, my job is 100% remote and I have a flexible work schedule. I do have a daughter in elementary school. I have a cat and a ferret in my household. I go on walks daily for exercise. I live in an apartment with an unfenced yard. I can take dogs walking daily and multiple times a day due to my flexibility with work. Animals are welcome on the furniture and bed. Dogs must be cat friendly.

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs of all ages and breeds. Growing up surrounded by pets has taught me how to understand their unique needs, whether it’s providing gentle care for senior dogs or keeping up with the energy and training needs of puppies. I just graduated college so right now I have pretty open availability! I do work a part time job, but I use my time very wisely and I even have days off throughout the week! My work schedule looks different every week but the longest shift I’d work is 7 hrs. I’m available during both weekdays and weekends, except some Saturdays, to care for pets, including boarding. About: Hi! I’m Halle. I’m a travel nurse and dog mom to my five year old husky/ lab mix, Yukon and his newly adopted brother a terrier mix, Odie. I’m on a new assignment in Morehead City. I work three days a week and looking to fill some of my spare time by making some new furry friends! I have experience volunteering at animal shelters and dog walking through and animal shelter called Pet Pals animal shelter in St. Petersburg FL. Through that experience I learned to handle many different breeds and temperaments of dogs. I have also gained a lot of knowledge in attending training classes for Yukon and now Odie. I am a travel nurse in the area until May. I work three days a week so I have a lot of free time for walking pups! I have two dogs of my own who love to get out and walk in the area and I myself love to get my steps in. This is a great way to explore the area! I am happy to offer frequent updates and photos/videos throughout your pup’s stay. I have two rescue pups who have required special attention as they navigated finding safety and security in their new home so I am sensitive to picking up on a dog's body language when they are feeling unsure about situations and I know how to de-esculate situations when they arise.

About: We’ve been dog sitting for family and friends over the past 10 years. Enjoy walking, playing and relaxing with them. Great with puppies to senior dogs. We are big dog lovers, flexible with our schedule and can certainly work with your dog’s schedule. Being with your dog is our top priority. Our yard is fenced in and our home is dog friendly. We prefer them to be around us whether it’s out in the yard or in the kitchen washing the dishes. In your home, is per your instructions.

About: Growing up, I lived on a farm and always had pets in the house, so I've been around different kinds of animals all my life! I've mostly dog-sat for middle-aged to senior dogs. I have experience with super hyper, cuddly, "chill", and even anxious dogs, I love 'em no matter how they come! I work part-time with a flexible schedule. Usually, I am able to work something out that makes everyone happy, schedule-wise! If you asked me to give you a rough estimate of what my schedule would be like, I'd say that on weekdays I'm usually busy from 10 am-2 pm and on weekends from 3 - 9 pm. However, this schedule can change, and is pretty flexible. I try to make the pets as comfortable as possible, while also trying to recreate their owners' environment and schedule. I get them used to me by just being around them, letting them smell me, getting used to seeing my face, and waiting until they want to be petted, etc. While doing this, I keep to the owner's schedule (feeding, walking, and potty times).

About: I am a passionate animal lover and have been for my entire life. I love all animals and have chosen to pursue a career as a zookeeper. I graduated from college with an Associates Degree in Zoo Science and Technology. After graduating I worked for Petco for almost 2 years. I am now currently working for Petsmart and have been for almost 2 and half years. So I have extensive knowledge and experience with both domestic and exotic animals. I have been my childhood neighbors dog sitter for the past 10 years and have been a petsitter for multiple other people including co-workers. About: -Personally, I have been caring for pets for 18 years. Pit mixes, reptiles, and felines. The first words most people would use to describe me would be "animal lover"! -Professionally, I have veterinary and animal handling experience. I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Assistant between college and graduate school, which gave me experience with administering medication, pet safety,checking vital signs, soothing anxious pets, basic grooming, etc. I also spent two years in grad school walking dogs,boarding, and doing check-ins with "Wag!" which I thoroughly enjoyed! I am a pretty early riser, but can be flexible It is priority to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while missing you! I choose to not use a crate with my dog, but can with yours if you prefer that. I'm very active and like to ensure that animals get as much activity and enrichment as they like. I am very big on sending lots of photos and video updates on your pet throughout the day!
