About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, pigs, fish, and the occasional duck or goose. I was responsible for a lot of their care before and after school, and I worked as a kennel technician for a couple of years. Currently I work on Duke’s campus with sick dogs in the pediatric department. I also just love animals! I’m good at attention to detail, cleaning up after pets, feeding/watering/medicating, and walking. I’m comfortable with any and all kinds of pets. I am a student, so I would be available for pet care before/at 12:30pm and after 4:30pm on week days, and available all day on weekends. I can also spend nights as needed. I am not able to keep pets in my dorm as it is against university policy but I would be more than happy to commute or spend nights for house/petsitting. I have done so before, and I do very well with this. I find it to be a fun experience

About: I have been caring for animals my entire life as a child, wildlife rehabilitator and as a wildlife biologist. For the last year and a half I have built a very nice reputation as a dependable and loving pet sitter. I have watched dogs, cats and birds! I have taken care of many senior dogs as well as a few puppies. Needless to say I’m not afraid of a pee pad or pill bottles! I work remotely and choose my hours, meaning, I can be with your animals at all time if need be. I do not mind staying with them 24/7 while you are away. It also means you can contact me any time that you need too. I live on a dead end road with very low traffic and have a very large yard. We will also go for nice walks down to the river where our road ends and a trail leads out to the river. My two main borders often do not want to leave or they want to come back home with me. It’s a great spot for dogs, whether they need to be leashed or not. If I am staying at your house I will always follow their normal routine. I really like for my clients to leave a note with food instructions, treat instructions, medicine, and daily routine. I also like to have a just incase number (neighbor or family member in the area) and the veterinarian. This is all just incase of an emergency and to make sure your pet stays safe and has the best time possible with me.

About: I have had all kinds of animals throughout my life... cats, dogs, fish, etc. I currently have a miniature schnauzer and an Australian labradoodle puppy. I also have experience with elderly animals and can give injections as well as administer oral medications. I am a lover of all animals! I recently rehabed a baby squirrel that was struck by lightening. It was so rewarding when I was able to release him back into the wild! Before moving to my current location I volunteered with the ‘Cats about town’ program. Cats about town is a trap, neuter/spay, release program to help control the feral cat population in town. I assisted with trapping and also feeding after their release. I am dependable and punctual and you can trust that I will take the best care of your babies! My schedule/availability varies. I try to keep my calendar up to date but please message me to see if I can help you with your pet. I will be glad to do whatever is needed to care for your pet. Play visits, potty breaks, medicine administration, feeding, bathing, etc. Also willing to take your pet to the park, beach, vet, etc. I hope to make your life easier and your pets happy!

About: I've been around and owned dogs all my life. My breed of choice is the German Shepherd, but I've had many different furry friends in my life. I also spent 7 years volunteering at Saving Grace in Raleigh - helping with rescue dogs. I'm retired, and I see this as a way to enjoy walking and being with dogs. All three of my shepherds were trained by me. One was off-leash trained. I'm just interested in walking dogs, but as I've stated, I'm highly trained to walk and care for any breed. Your pup will have fun walking with me!

I prefer Havelock clients for in house sitter jobs. If you need a lot of check ins I would rather keep your fur baby at my house, to avoid charging more for gas. I care for pets in their homes based on the guidelines the owners set out. I will always check their food and water bowls, walk or play outside and bathroom break.

I’m experienced with walking high energy dogs who are easily distracted and reactive. I’m currently working full time as a registered nurse where I work three 12 hour shifts a week. This would be a perfect opportunity for my spare time to get outside, take your dog for a walk, have play dates, etc. I will ensure your dog is safe no matter what the activity. About: -Personally, I have been caring for pets for 18 years. Pit mixes, reptiles, and felines. The first words most people would use to describe me would be "animal lover"! -Professionally, I have veterinary and animal handling experience. I worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician Assistant between college and graduate school, which gave me experience with administering medication, pet safety,checking vital signs, soothing anxious pets, basic grooming, etc. I also spent two years in grad school walking dogs,boarding, and doing check-ins with "Wag!" which I thoroughly enjoyed! Professionally, I am a biologist and have a working knowledge of animal physiology -I have personally mothered and treated a Heartworm Positive dog, so I am well-versed in caring for a pup currently undergoing that! With my current seasonal position coming to an end, I expect to have a wide open schedule for the next few months. I am a pretty early riser, but can be flexible It is priority to make sure that your pet is as comfortable as possible while missing you! I choose to not use a crate with my dog, but can with yours if you prefer that. I'm very active and like to ensure that animals get as much activity and enrichment as they like. I am very big on sending lots of photos and video updates on your pet throughout the day!
