“Amy is wonderful pet sitter. She is very responsible and punctual. Amy asked a lot of details about my cat and how to care about him. It was very easy to communicate with her - she sent a report about each visit (with photos) and responded promptly and in detail. I recommend her as a pet sitter.”

About: I have 4 years of pet care experience, from puppies to seniors. I’m a recent grad with a flexible schedule—reliable, energetic, and ready for last-minute needs. I work a couple evenings during the week, but I’m free most mornings and afternoons. My flexible schedule allows me to give pets consistent, focused care and attention. I respect each owner’s boundaries and follow all routines to ensure pets feel safe and at ease. Whether I’m keeping your home tidy and secure while you’re away or walking your dog with care and intention, I’m fully invested in your pet’s health, happiness, and overall well-being.

“Easily the best sitter I've had from this app. She communicates well, goes above and beyond, sends so many photos, and is a lovely human. I've booked with three pet sitters in total on Rover and she shines above the rest. I can tell she genuinely enjoys this job and cares about my pets well-being. I'm usually so anxious leaving my cats for long periods of time, but not at all with Maegan. I don't think words can properly express how wonderful she is!”

About: I have taken care of different animals growing up dog sitting, and dog walking is what I normally did! I love going on walks with dogs combines my two favorite things, the outdoors and animals! I have two other jobs but don’t work full time, I usually have a couple days off. When I’m off i like to be outside and doing things! I help make the animals feel safe! I know how some animals can be with their parents gone and it can make them feel scared or abandoned. So being there with them and playing with them can help calm that sense of abandonment!

I graduated from Iowa State University in 2015 and love my fur babies! I have two cats, Pete and Kai, as well as a 1 year old yellow lab Waylon. I grew up with dogs, cats, a turtle and guinea pigs. I’m looking to make a little extra cash and have some fun! I have volunteered at the Ames Animal Shelter in the past as well as grew up spending time in a local vet office with family friends. I’m willing to provide any services as long as I can make it work. Hope you pick me to spend time with your pets! I work M-F. Typically 8-4. I do have the ability to work from home. If I were to have your pet, I would adjust my schedule to meet their needs. I have a huge fenced yard and a pup to keep yours company! Plenty of toys and outdoor / indoor activities for your animal. We treat pets like family, so they will be very comfortable in our home.

“We were hesitant to use Rover with our babies. We decided to try it out with Tessa and I cannot be more thankful. She sends pics and our animals look happier with her than they do with us! You won’t regret having Tessa look after your dogs!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my whole life. I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats for family and friends. I have stayed at homes with the animals, taken them on walks, and just the normal caring duties for animals. I currently work full-time at a middle school. If close enough to my job, I can take the animal on a potty break if needed. Otherwise I am at work for almost 8 hours on the weekdays. My weekends are free! I will not accept dogs into my own home, but when at the clients home I accommodate to the pets needs whether that involves walking them, tying them up, or keeping them in a fenced in yard

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life and use to dog sit for months at a time . I love the all the different breed and sizes of dogs and know how to care for them well. I currently work part time so we have plenty of time to take care of your little babies when you’re unable to! I am great at helping and following directions. I have no fences but will walk dog on leash if that what is needed I have one nice dog named simba and a cat who runs the house named keems who both love other animals .

About: I have taken in several dogs from rescue leagues. Last one lived with us for 16 1/2 yrs before she passed. Decided to be a sitter as I know how difficult it is to find good sitters when you go on vacation or to work and don’t want to leave your precious at home. Our home is small but yard is large and there is plenty of room to run. I take my own out to run a lot. Have plenty of treats to share as we get the bark box each month so can share treats and toys. Would love to watch your babies while your away instead of them being in kennels. I have a nine yr old dachshund and a two yr old fox hound. I have watched a female dachshund multiple times while her owner had to be at the hospital with her friend. Her doxie became a part of the family. If I had something to do and the doxie could go with the she went with with me. Otherwise she was kenneled while I was gone. The doxie was able to sleep with either my daughter who is 16 or myself and my husband. During feeding times we put the dogs that cannot have the same food or that do not get along well eating with others in their own rooms to eat. I will only schedule two dogs to walk at a time, unless you have small or well trained dogs. Right now I do not work but do go into town weekly for church, Bible Study, I am the treasurer of our church, and I am on the Worship Team.
