“Natalie was amazing… was there when my plan fell through last minute, family was all so nice.. she sent me pics of blue, was so friendly and accommodating! Thank you so much for loving my baby!!”

“Mala had a lovely stay with Alissa. Mala had a large, private, cozy space for rest and relaxation, which was perfect for this 15 year old girl. Alissa has a large property providing plenty of opportunities for Mala to explore outdoors. And, she was spoiled with homemade treats! Thank you for taking such good care of her, Alissa!”

“Colleen is amazing. This was the first time we boarded our young dog. We don’t board often because our dog can be high energy! Colleen provided lots of opportunities for exercise and play. She also sent updates with pictures. It allowed us to relax while away. If you are looking for a positive environment with lots of options for movement and play, she is the right person!”

“Breanna has been an absolute lifesaver! Her flexibility was quite remarkable. But, on to the dogs— she’s like a dog whisperer lol. My very difficult and reactive dog took to her immediately and my senior dog was comfortable as well. My dogs were well cared for, no doubt about it. I will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2015, although I’ve always grown up around animals. What started as helping friends and family while they were out of town—sometimes for weeks or even months—quickly became something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I believe that building trust with both pets and their owners is key to providing the best care possible. Before any stay, I like to meet the pet and owner together to get familiar with their routine, any special activities they enjoy, and any health needs I should be aware of. This helps ensure a smooth transition and allows me to care for each pet as if they were my own I recently moved to Maine in May, and I am excited to make this my forever home. While I’m currently job searching, I’m fully available and would love to focus on pet sitting in the meantime. I have open availability and can be flexible with scheduling to meet your needs At our home, I have a spacious 1.1-acre property with a beautiful front yard, a peaceful pond, and a large backyard all of which are unfenced. Pet guests enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time in these open areas. I always meet with the owner ahead of time to learn about the dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. From there, I create a care plan that helps your dog feel comfortable and keeps their routine consistent while they’re with me.

“This was my dog-Sophie’s- first time away from family in her almost 2 years. She loved it. The large outdoor yard and Rose’s dogs made her feel welcome and a part of the pack. We would use Rose’s sitter services again for sure!”

“Lindsay took great care of my dog Suki. She was warm and professional, which put Suki right at ease; and she sent regular updates and photos; plus, Suki was happy and calm when I picked her up. Thank you, Lindsay!”

“Alyx was wonderful to work with and we are very happy we found her! She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on Lucy's stay with messages and pictures. We were nervous leaving Lucy with a new sitter but feel confident that she was well cared for and given lots of one-on-one attention in her time with Alyx. We definitely recommend her!”

“She was great with Chewy and kept me informed!! Chewy has a bit of separation anxiety but she kindly told me that she is not so bad and enjoyed running around her fenced yard!! Thank you Jaclyn!!”

“Highest marks! Pat was super-attentive to Cody's special needs and gave us daily updates. We were particularly impressed by the way she introduced the other dogs in her care to Cody -- incrementally, to not overwhelm our little girl and also to get a read for who would get along best so she could manage everyone socially. We would absolutely use Pat's services again. Thank you so much!!!”

About: I recently lost my 14 y/o Coonhound (Jazzy) She was the bestest girl in the world, and the best friend anyone could ask for. I am not ready for another dog just yet, but I would love to have another heartbeat in the house. My schedule is very flexible, in the event that I have to run some errands, I am happy to take your dog for a car ride with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard and in close proximity to trails for long walks that I often frequent. Also, I could not be happier to have your dog hang out on the couch with me while I read or work from home.

“Lizzie and Brad were a joy to work with from our first interactions. She’s responsive, incredibly thoughtful and put our pup Walter first above all else. She even brought him a half hour away for our wedding photos - thank you so much, Lizzie!”

About: Hi, I have taken care of my own pets and other people's pets for years. I moved to Mid coast ME 5 yrs ago from Nantucket. I am also a professional gardener, so if you need watering etc while your away. I am currently self employed, so I have a flexible schedule. We can figure out a plan for your pet care. Look forward in planning w you. I have a dog Elka and 2 cats. Elka is easy going dog who loves other dogs and cats. I think the best way is to have the dogs meet and see how things go w them before a care schedule can begin. We have also traveled and cared for other dogs in their homes and everyone gets along.

In my home i have one dog a very friend golden retriever who loves playdates and we have a big yard by woods. I’m very attendant and anxious so i spend a lot of time outside with my dog and love going for walks

“Tanya is amazing! Dexter loves staying with Tanya. He gets spoiled rotten in the best way when he goes to see Tanya. He gets so much outside time and even has his spot on the couch. I’ve brought Dexter to Tanya multiple times and will definitely bring him to her again. She really is the best!”

About: I have worked as a vet assistant and groomer. Pets have been a part of the family for my whole life, everything from bearded dragons and guinea pigs to a wonderful St. Bernard. I might actually be part cat. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Every morning I give the insistent critters their breakfast and some play time before letting the dogs out. Play and cuddle time happens all day. There is a big basket of toys for both dogs and cats in the living room and jars of treats are scattered around the house. Our yard isn't fenced yet, but there is a runner and the yard is surrounded by woods. We're also on a dead end road, so there's no traffic. The cats have litter boxes in the basement, with a cat door for access. That gives them a bit of privacy, the dogs aren't allowed down there. The cats also have a water fountain and food bowls high enough that the dogs can't reach.

“Kelsey is wonderful. She is very responsive and responsible. She has been terrific with my anxious pup and put him (and me) at ease. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kelsey to any pet parent!”

“Lacey gave Tonks love and enrichment; I could sense that Tonks felt relaxed and cared for during their time together. We definitely would choose Lacey, and her family, for a future dog-date!”
