“This was Lisa's first drop-in visit with Bogey, who is a rescue , previously abused, and normally reserved around new people. He and Lisa got along very well. She took the time to meet Bogey in advance, arrived on time, and obviously cared about making him comfortable, something that is not easy to do. I was very pleased with the care Lisa gave him, and I will be scheduling her in the future. It is my hope that she will be my "go to" person when I need a dog sitter.”

About: I’ve been a Dog lover most of my life. I joined Rover to help the healing of losing My 10 year old Rotti, who was in my life from 7 weeks of age. I brought him up by myself…. In the best manner possible, training, Raw fed, minimal chemical exposure. and I have no regrets. I’ve boarded dogs of family and friends while my dog was in my life and it’s been some comfort since he’s gone I work from home full time - so dogs under my care will be walked at least 2x a day & Will be free to use my fenced in back yard throughout the day. I do have to be on the phone throughout the day so i cannot sit for a dog that barks all day for no reason. When caring for dogs in my home, they have free access unless they are not potty trained. They sleep in my room on a dog bed at night. They get play time in my yard during my lunch break.

“Monica did several drop in visits for my 47lb yellow lab mix over the last few days. She went above and beyond and provided extra love to my dog. If you need a reliable, trustworthy, attention to detail pet sitter/walker, look no further!”

“Bonnie Jo took great care of our boys! She worked with our crazy schedule and made sure both dogs got plenty of love and attention as well as time outside. I highly recommend her!”

“Tiffany was great. Our cat has asthma so she needs her daily inhaler, and Tiffany was able to give her session without a problem. She also played with her and gave her pets while she was here. We really appreciate her professionalism and flexibility to show up on short notice. I Will be asking her to make future visits as we have a few more weekend aways.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 13! I am an absolutely animal lover and will take care of yours as if it’s my own! About: Hi! I’m Kendal—an energetic, dog-loving sitter and future veterinarian with years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. Whether I’m walking high-energy dogs, comforting anxious rescues, or supporting senior pups with extra TLC, I always bring patience, empathy, and a vet-bound level of attentiveness. I’ve worked with animals through vet clinics, rescue organizations, and educational programs like Project Terrapin, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior and health. I adapt to your dog’s needs—whether that means fetch in the yard, calm companionship, or help with routine care. Every dog has their own personality, and I’m here to meet them right where they are—with enthusiasm, respect, and a whole lot of love. I currently work off-site Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which allows me to offer consistent, high-quality pet care during early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I currently provide pet care in clients’ homes, as I do not board animals in my own residence. My focus is on offering attentive, reliable care that keeps pets comfortable and supported in their familiar environment. In Your Home (Sitting and Overnight Stays): When caring for pets in their own home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible. This includes timely feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of companionship. I keep your home clean and your pet happy, providing regular updates so you can travel with peace of mind. During overnight stays, I ensure your pet receives care in the evening, overnight, and morning, with a walk or check-in before I leave for work and attentive care once I return. Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking: For walks and drop-ins, I tailor the visit to your pet’s needs—whether that means an energizing walk, quiet company, or extra attention for nervous or senior pets. I make sure they have clean food and water, a potty break, and interaction that matches their personality and preferences. With a strong foundation in pre-veterinary studies and years of hands-on animal care experience, I offer thoughtful, dependable care for every pet I meet.

“Caroline did a fantastic job caring for our animals! She was always on time and went above and beyond just checking in on them. She walked and tired out our very energetic, 2 year old Vizsla and made sure our outdoor cats were brought inside and out of the cold/snowy weather! We would absolutely use Caroline again.”

Kendal G.
“I’ve known Kendal for a few years, and throughout that time, and at every possible opportunity, she’s demonstrated a loving, deeply informed, and fully genuine care and passion for animals. She’s an aspiring veterinarian and possesses a sort of savant-like knowledge of the animal kingdom that corresponds to her life’s passion. She knows the dosage and variety of tranquilizer needed to safely sedate a hippo, she knows the hazardous ingredients in my dog’s tick medication, and she understands intuitively what her cat, Mango, is feeling dependent on his body language: no tidbit of knowledge, no esoteric fact, no nuance is too niche for her. While all individuals on this app likely possess a deep love for animals, Kendal supplements that love with knowledge. If your dog gets into the chocolate, if your cat gets into the Advil, Kendal will know what to do because she both cares deeply and understands deeply. I have no doubt that she is the most overqualified pet sitter/walker you’ll ever cross paths with. She has my fullest endorsement.”

Bay Head dog parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was great and our old girl really seemed to love her visits. Emily was routine but also offered flexibility if we needed and always sent picture updates and made sure she clarified any questions she had about our pup’s care. We would definitely choose to have her care for our dog again and likely will for our next vacation! Thank you Emily.
