“Always better than expected. On time, stays a little longer, puts in the perfect walk while factoring in the hot conditions. Coco just loves her. You can see it on her face via the pics she sends to update me.”

About: My household has always had a furry friend in it since the day I was born from small ankle biters like Chihuahuas to hefty cuties like my current Bully Pit that I can safely wrestle in some horseplay. Puppies, seniors, we don't discriminate 'round here! I don't mind getting my hands dirty and have small experience in clicker training younger pups along with an energy to match whichever personality I'm given. A boundless Collie? We can play all day! A sleepy old Bassett? We can chill with some TV. I'm not above being put to work either. Give me a litter box to clean. Give me medicine and I'll make sure it's getting swallowed. Toss a cat my way as well why doncha? I worked as a cat caretaker during my fall and spring semesters in Auburn University, as well as own a lovely kitten named Autumn, so having a feline to shake things up would be a nice treat! Trust me, my hands have a good pain tolerance. Beyond that, I know it costs major bucks to look after your pets. Or pay someone ELSE too. Sometimes a week stay for a pet can run up to $500! That's why you come to me. I offer affordable rates because I'm more concerned with the passion than the money. I have multiple pets of my own and I know the chip they can put in my wallet just from vet visits! So I won't let it get in your way! 🤠 I've graduated happily from Auburn University with a degree in Animal Sciences and am settling into a new job. This means that while I'm happy to take on new clients, my schedule is sporadic as it's determined on a weekly basis. It also means I will be gone for many hours at a time. My current work schedule and thus how long I'd be busy for Aug 11-17 is: Mon: Free Tue: 4-9:30 pm Wed: 5-9:30 pm Thurs: 5-9:30 pm Fri: 3-9:30 pm Sat: 4-9:30 pm Sun: Free Safety is a non-negotiable when it comes to our furry friends. Just like I do with my own pals, I stay by them at all times when outside and encourage their attention with toys or loving scritches when they're not doing their business. If push comes to shove, I am capable of safely wrestling an overzealous dog into calming down or tightening the 'ol leash if need be. With cats, responsibly scruffing rarely fails. Inside, unless stated otherwise where they're allowed to park themselves, I stay with my little friends on the floor and can crate them if specified to do so when it's bedtime. If they're free roamers, I let them tag along where I go! Except the kitchen. I also welcome animals who require daily or periodic medication. Bear in mind I charge $10 per day of administering medication, and it would cover all required meds for that day. Rest assured your friend will be taken care of!

About: Between my 10 month old & 14 year old pups, I can pretty much do everything! With my 14 year old pup being a senior, I have learned to be very patient and understanding with him so I would say I have excellent senior care. My 10 month old pup has had me revisiting the puppy stages, so I’m used to all different ages, personalities, and energies. I’m currently getting my veterinary technician associates degree. I am a college student doing online classes so my schedule is pretty flexible. I can do walks on weekdays from 9 a.m. to sunset. I have a fenced yard with 2 dogs but my senior dog will just stay inside. I have a puppy who would love a friend!

“Valarie did such a great job taking care of Pongo while we were out of town. Not only was he supper happy when we got home but the photos, videos and updates were wonderful to have. She even vacuumed up all the dog hair, that was a nice surprise to come home to a clean floor.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since the day I was born, and love taking care of them. I have watched and walked dogs for friends and family off and on since I was 15. I’ve watched sweet senior dogs to energetic puppies. I have potty trained and leased trained my dogs and provided medications for dogs. I am available most days of the week. I have lots of free time midafternoons for your pet. I have school on Tuesday at 8 to 10:30 then 12:30 to 2 and Thursday 12:30 to 2 I can work around most schedules. Having been around dogs all my life, I enjoy their company. I think dogs are our best friends and should be treated as such. I realize some dogs need lots of energy released and others not so much!

“My wife and I are so grateful to have Jaclyn as Lola’s dog walker. Jaclyn provides a level of care that feels like a family member whenever she’s with Lola. Jaclyn is very patient and gentle with Lola. My wife and I can tell from the photos. Lola is always happy to see Jaclyn. If you want a dog walker who will treat your pet with the same love and attention you do. I highly recommend Jaclyn”

“Christina was great with Charlie!! She took him for a lengthy walk and he relieved himself multiple times. She also let him visit with the other dogs that were out and about which Charlie loves. She gave him treats and checked his food bowl. He had a great visit with Christina and we will definitely use her again! It gave me great piece of mind since we did not get home until after midnight.”

About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my life and I have a limitless love for all animals. Elderly animals are my specialty and I have a lot of experience caring for them. I have recently applied to an online grad school program and am also new to the Alabama area. I am not currently working so my schedule is very flexible. I am very adaptable and will meet your pets needs however possible. Whether it is high energy or heavy snuggles.. or both! Whatever routine is needed, I’m happy to comply.

About: I have about 5 years of experience caring for all kinds of animals, including senior dogs, puppies, cats, turtles, chickens, and more. I have never ending love for animals and have multiple pets of my own, who I love with my whole heart. I am dedicated to providing the best care possible to your pets and prioritizing their health and happiness. Pets are family and it is my privilege to treat your pets as my own. I am flexible with scheduling and will do everything I can to work with your individual schedule. I know that life gets busy and I am happy to help make it easier in any way I can. Any amount of time that I may spend in your home will be spent with respect to your space. I am more than happy to maintain cleanliness of any of your pet’s spaces (cleaning feeding areas, picking up and disposing of pet waste, etc.), and I will be sure to leave your home just as lovely as I found it.

About: Growing up on a farm meant loving and caring for all animals. As an adult, I have had animals on the smaller side including rabbits, dogs, and cats. I often pet sit for family, friends, and neighbors when they need a helping hand. I genuinely believe in creating a safe and caring environment for these beautiful creatures. I work from home and get to decide my schedule. This allows me to schedule as many drop-ins and walks, or board your fur babies. For a drop-in or walk I will ensure your pet is provided care and love. I am happy to collect mail and water plants if needed. For boarding your canine friends, I offer a cozy and loving home. I have my own medium sized dog that is a sweetie and loves other animals. I also own two cats that are used to dogs but I can also separate them if needed since they have their own room to escape to.

About: Hi I’m James— a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for pups of all shapes and sizes. Whether your dog loves long walks, snuggles on the couch, or playtime in the yard, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and safe while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own and always keep you updated with pictures and messages. Let’s make tails wag together! I am currently working part time. I have more than enough time and would love to take care of you all your pets whenever you need it. I love taking care and playing with all types of animals especially dogs. I personally have one dog named Rigatoni who I just love and is part of my family.

“Alyssa is fantastic! She has walked my dog multiple times in the past couple weeks and I cannot complain. I have requested that she come around lunch to walk Andi and she does her best even though it can be a super inconvenient time. Some of my friends who have happened to see Alyssa and Andi have always commented that Andi seems so happy with her. I definitely recommend Alyssa!”

About: Thank you for visiting my profile! After more than 20 years of touring as a classical musician - as well as managing my own music company - I decided to retire in 2015 and a more tranquil pace in my life. I started traveling around the world and was blessed with the loving company of animals along the way during more than 50 house and farm sits. While traveling I started writing and publishing books, which means I'm spending a lot of time home writing, so your fur babies will get a lot of love and attention. I'm very experienced with dogs of all sizes and absolutely LOVE cats. Had many sits with large numbers of animals - 6-7 frequently, on a farm sit even 17 once - so larger numbers are no problem. You will get daily pictures and videos of your babies and my response time is usually within minutes. Can't wait to hear from you & meet your furry friends! Thank you for reading my profile! Very flexible schedule. I work from home, writing books, running a blog and creating online courses, so will give plenty of company to your fur babies :) While working on my laptop there is usually a kitty or 2 next to me or on my lap. Love cuddling, playing and enjoying precious fur baby time. Cats are my passion.

About: With a passion ignited since before I could even drive, my pet care journey began with walking miles to neighbors' homes to tend to their senior dogs. Over the years, I've traversed town, from cats to dogs, nurturing furry companions with a blend of love and expertise. What sets me apart is my background in EMS and firefighting, instilling a sense of calm and preparedness in any situation. Specializing in both puppy and senior care, I provide tailored solutions, ensuring each pet receives the attention and care they deserve. Pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine, especially during the summer when I'm off and have more flexibility. With ample free time and the ability to accommodate short notice requests, I prioritize the well-being of furry companions, ensuring they receive the attention and care they need. Whether it's scheduled walks, playtime, or last-minute sitting gigs, I adapt my schedule to meet the needs of the pets entrusted to my care. This flexibility allows me to provide reliable and attentive service, giving pet owners peace of mind knowing their beloved animals are in good hands. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being above all else. This includes adhering to their regular feeding and exercise routines, providing plenty of love and attention, and maintaining a clean and tidy environment. For dogs, I ensure they get their daily walks or outdoor playtime, and for cats, I engage in interactive play sessions or simply spend quality time cuddling and grooming. Additionally, I handle any necessary tasks such as administering medication, cleaning litter boxes, or watering plants, ensuring that both the pets and the home receive the utmost care and attention while the owners are away.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was in middle school. I have had pets (cats and dogs) of my own since elementary school! I work from home and it’s very easy going. Lots of time to do extra things like take care of pets! I can make drop ins at anytime! I would prefer to do drop ins in homes instead of having pets come into our home for the time being but I have no problem stopping by multiple times a day for walks and feedings!

About: I've owned a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a Shi-poo, and now a Bernie Doodle. The Bernie doodle is three years old and kind and welcoming. The cat will hang out at a distance. I am retired and "working" from home. I have the time to commit to taking care of your pets' needs during the early mornings, daytime, and evening. Overnight if needed. My home has a fenced back yard. I am home all day so they will be let out often if staying here and am available during day for walks and check ins. Our house is calm and quiet. If at your home, your pet will be taken care of per your instructions. I love to play fetch, run them in backyard, walk them, and certainly love on them to make them feel loved, exercised, and relaxed.

“Macy was so attentive with my puppy, she even cleaned up after him when he had an accident and took the time to cuddle with him a little after a long walk. I would definitely recommend if you want a Rover sitter that will treat your dog like their own!”

About: I have pet sat since middle school and have since grown a list of references that I would be more than happy to put you in contact with. I have had multiple dogs throughout my life and have a chiweenie as of currently named Charlie! I would love to take care of your dog, cat, or even both if needed. I love spending time with your furry friends and ensuring you can stay worry free while away! I have a job I do work Monday-Friday with the exception of Wednesdays. Some of those days are half days where I will only work 9-1. I always ensure before accepting a job that I will be able to properly care for your furry friend. With most of the people I pet-sit for, I like to meet in advance to make sure the owner and the pet are comfortable with me being at the house. I do usually stay the night for most people I dog sit for, ensuring I can give your pets maximum potty breaks, play time, walks, water refills etc.
