“Penni and Aurora were awesome. They were easy and fun to work with. They sent me pictures of my dogs every day. I am extremely allergic to cats and they have a few so they gave each of my dogs and their leashes baths before I picked them up to make sure that they didn't bring any cat dander home. The dogs live with them in their home and have their own room and are allowed to sleep with Aurora. I felt that this was a great place to board them because of that. They seemed to be having a great time and they got walks and different outdoor experiences every day. I will definitely board with them again.”

“Our first time using Rover and we struck gold! Linda provided daily pictures and updates during Cookie's stay. Judging from the pictures, Cookie felt right at home with Linda. I would not hesitate to leave our dog in Linda's capable hands.”

“I've left my two very different dogs in Marianne's care twice so far and feel very confident she is giving them the best care! I appreciate the daily update and pictures, and the dogs come home tired and happy.”

About: Growing up we had a few dogs. We owned a black lab, German Shepard, and German short haired pointer. Our family loved our dogs! In my adult life we haven’t owned our own dog, but we look forward to be being dog parents someday soon! We have also cared for family members & friends dogs, including a Huskie, Border Collie, and golden retriever. I’ve been wanting to get into pet care for a few years, I just haven’t had the space for it. We bought a house with a backyard that is perfect for doing so & now we’re going for it! I work full time at home & my wife Emily is a stay at home mom, while she’s fishing her masters degree. Between us we can easily give your pet the attention/time they deserve while they are away from you. We have a nice size backyard (no fence), along with plenty of room inside to move around and play. We have the flexibility to go on walks whenever they need & we are open to caring for all ages of pets as well as any energy level! We will meet them where they are at. The only pet we have is Merlin our cat. He is timid initially meeting new friends, but adjusts and does just fine once acquainted.

About: I have lots of experience with all types of dogs. I grew up in the country taking care of dogs, babysat dogs for family friends, and now have a dog of my very own. I am currently working part-time, I am a kindergarten teacher so I have most of the summer off. During the school year I will work 7:30-3 but can still care for your dog as I give them lots of attention before and after work. I also have a boyfriend who will be with them before and after work giving them extra potty breaks and playtime since we work different hours. On the weekends I would be home with them the entire time! I would love to keep there schedule as close to what there used to as possible. I do have a 110lb German shepherd so would only take dogs who are good with other dogs. My dog LOVES to play with other dogs. I live on 30 Acres of farm land and a long drive way away from the road so there is plenty of room for your dog to run and play. I also have a huge cage inside and a kennel outside If that what’s your dog is used to. We can also talk about leashes if you prefer they are on a leash! We would do lots of outside activities, including walks and fetch. Your dog is allowed on my furniture if that’s what they are used to at home!

About: My name is Cammi, I just moved to Wadena while working at the post office in Staples as an RCA. I have grown up raising and taking care of dogs and cats. I'm pretty good with taking care of pets , I know most pets have boundaries and enjoy their space. I'll play with them, cuddle them, take them on walks and make sure they are comfortable with my living area and give them the space they need if they are very anxious or shy. I'm a very clean and organized person, and I love brushing dogs and giving them baths. I do have some pets of my own, I have 2 dogs,2 ferrets, a cat and a guinea pig. I know some training methods if you ever want me to train your dogs. So I am an RCA for a couple of different locations but I do live in Wadena, so most of the time I get done with work around 3:30 sometimes almost 7pm I have a fenced yard for my two dogs, and I’m very cautious towards clients homes in case if they don’t have a fence and their dogs don’t know how to stay in the yard.

About: I absolutely love animals and I need to be around them. I understand their needs. I am good with all ages including puppies and seniors I have recently retired and am very flexible to care for your pet, day and night and weekends. I can even stay in your home while you are on vacation. If I come to your home I will follow the guidelines you suggest, whether they are crated in doors or are fenced outside. I will care for them the way you want and they are used to,
