“Christie and Michael took great care of our 90 lb GSD Charlie for 5 days during a heatwave. They let her cool off in the pool with their kids and made sure she stayed safe, fed, etc. We got really lucky finding this family to help us, you can tell they have a lot of experience with animals and keeping them all safe. Our Charlie had some anxiety being left at a new place, and they communicated with us through the week with how things were going. Thanks again so much for keeping Charlie at your home this past week on your little farm and with the rest of your animals. Thanks also to your kids, they were so sweet to help take care of our doggo.”

About: I have had a love and passion for animals my entire life. My mom has worked at a vet hospital for 15+ years and I have learned so much from her. I have raised and trained my own dogs. I will make sure your fur babies recieve the same love and attention as if they were my own. I am currenlty available 7 days a week morning and night. She kept me in touch of how olive was doing and sent pictures and was also very flexible and communicative about our dogs stay. “Shannon did a great job sitting our two large dogs; highly recommend! She gave routine updates, pictures, and read my dogs info before we arrived. She has a nice dog proof house. Allowed the dogs on her couch and dog bed. She took them for routine walks around her large property. She was kind and trustworthy. We used her for one night of dog sitting while we hiked half dome. There are limited to no other options in the area and dogs aren’t allowed on any Yosemite hikes. We were lucky to get her!”

I have many private dog parks under half a mile away from my house, my own fenced backyard, and a deep love for animals. From caring for my own, I found my love for taking care of others, and I branched out into petsitting, housesitting, and the feeding and care of all types, big and small. I’m available for your pets. I have a fenced in yard, and there is currently a very sociable cat in the house. Crates can be used only when/if when necessary. I provide fresh water, a cozy bed, and anything per their schedule. However, the address listed on her profile was several miles (Shepard and Willow instead of Herndon/Maroa area) from where she actually watched my dog, adding 20 minutes to pickup and drop off. Also, they bent my crate to take it apart when it just folds up for transport.”
