About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

I am a retired K9 Officer from the City of Frederick. I was the assistant trainer on the unit until I retired in 2019. I have been training dogs professionally since then. I am familiar with the care and needs of every type of dog, from puppy to senior. I strive to each client outstanding service and your satisfaction is paramount to me I am retired, and work from home and am available daily for your pet care needs. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to work around yours. I have a lot of experience working with a lot of dogs and safety is always a top priority of mine. About: Started caring for pets since I was 10. Mostly dogs and cats along with some awesome rabbits. Neighbors, friends and family relied on me to walk, feed, play, administer medicine, clean liter boxes and give good lovin' to their beloved pets ! Lots of experience staying with pets in their home (sometimes for several weeks at a time) or coming to their home several times days for care. Realized that I was born with a natural rapport with animals. Grateful for this ability and nurtured these skills all my life. I'm currently applying for full-time work, so I'll have plenty of time (flexible hours) to love-up on your dearest dogs with walks, play and treats. Of course, belly rubs are included! Haven't had my own pet in awhile, but lived with housemates who have wonderful animal spirits (dogs, cats and bunnies) to brighten their lives and mine. When I've lived with pets, always check they have plenty of clean water and food and, depending on how they are housed, make sure they are safe in their crates or curled up in their favorite spots before I leave. Always make sure that I know where list of emergency contacts and vet info is located.

About: I have watched multiple types of dogs including: shih tzu, Yorkies, Pomeranian, lab, poodles, redbones, border collie, boxers, pit bulls, jack Russells, and Chihuahuas. I have bathed, cut hair/ nails, brushed, and given medicine to many dogs. I have fed, watered, walked, ran, and scratched dogs. I have kept multiple dogs overnight, during the day and in the evening. I have taken dogs to the vet, let them out periodically, and just stopped by to give them some attention also! In the end, I really truly do love all dogs and I just want to give them the love and attention they deserve. I have availability through out most evenings from 4pm - 11pm. I could also do some earlier in the morning for a couple hours with enough notice. Weekends I’m fully free. I can also do overnight and then morning drop offs if needed. Or I could keep them at my house during the day and stop by a few times to let them out (I’m right next door)! I will give them food / water / medicine when directed. I will give them treats when deserved or directed. I will take them on walks, play with them, and let them out periodically to use the bathroom. I will give them lots of cuddles and scratches if that’s something they are interested in!

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have a beagle (8yrs) and a golden retriever puppy. One of my labs growing up had diabetes so I am skilled/ have knowledge of measuring food, giving insulin, and I know the importance of a diabetic animal being fed at the exact times every day. My current dog has epilepsy so I am experienced there as well. My friends and family trust me to take care of their pets and know they will be in good hands. I am currently a full time teacher at a local high school. My availability during the week is after 3:00 pm and my availability on the weekends is all day (unless otherwise discussed). I'm willing to bring in mail, packages, etc. I am currently only doing dog walking and drop in visits 30 mins- 1 hour. I will follow food/ care directions and make sure the house is secure before leaving.

About: I have hands-on experience raising and training three dogs of my own, currently aged 2, 3, and 4. I’ve cared for them since they were puppies, handling everything from basic obedience training to daily walks, feeding, grooming, and socialization. I’m a nursing student home for the summer and looking for a fun, active way to earn extra income. I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes. About: I have taken care of my own pets, neighbors pets and my grand cat and dogs. My grand dogs are very energetic Huskies! I love animals. I love walking dogs or taking them to the doggie park. I enjoy throwing balls, sticks and whatever else they bring to me and playing tug a war with dogs and of course giving and getting doggie love. I enjoy cat cuddles, playing chase the laser with cats or just sitting with a cat in my lap and listening to it purr. I am retired. I am available anytime. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large fenced in backyard. I am located between the Westwrn MD scenic RR and the Potomac Eagle Scenic RR which makes it convenient for us to host your fur babies while you enjoy scenic views of our beautiful mountains and towns. I have a large 4 Ft high-fenced in backyard. Lots of trees for shade and plenty of room to run. We live in a secluded area where walks are quiet and trails are plentiful.

About: I have two shih tzu puppies, fifteen chickens and one rabbit. I love all of my animals and care for them like they are my children. I'm looking to start caring for other people's pets as a part time job. I'm available to care for your pets while caring for mine. I have a fenced in yard with doggie doors. About: I have always had a big heart for pets. This includes cats and dogs. I enjoy being around them, feeding them, and cleaning after them. I work full time for a nonprofit, but have flexibility. About: I was raised around dogs my entire life and have always loved taking care of them and playing with them. I currently have 6 dogs and love everyone of them dearly and always spoil them while making sure they’re well behaved. About: I've been an animal lover since I can remember. I started caring for animals at a young age since my family always had our own pets and I felt a sense of pride in helping with them. About: I have owned my own personal animals for the past 6 years, I have 3 dogs (all beautiful muts) and 8 cats. Aside from having my own furry kids, I've also worked in animal rescue for a little over 4 years. This job field has given me so much experience working with every sort of dog breed, and any cat temperament. I currently work a full time job Monday-Thursday but I would love to be more involved in the animal field again.
