“Haylee was absolutely wonderful with Chestnut! She was great to work with, communicated very well, and took excellent care of him while we were away. Chestnut is a senior dog and can be a little more high maintenance, but she took his care very seriously and followed all of the instructions we left perfectly. We could tell he was very comfortable with her and well cared for. We are so happy with our experience and will definitely be using Haley again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“This was the longest we’ve ever been away from our dogs, and honestly—I wasn’t worried for a second. Emily is just that good. Her communication is always on point, and I can count on her without hesitation. My dogs absolutely love her, and it shows in every photo she sends—big smiles, happy corgi tails, and all the good vibes. She truly goes above and beyond every time, and we’re so grateful for the care and love she gives our pets. Highly, highly recommend.”

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Over the years, I’ve shared life with a collie, two Dobermans, a boxer, and a pair of West Highland White Terriers, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every dog is different — some love long walks and playtime, while others just want cuddles and quiet companionship. I’m patient, reliable, and always focused on keeping your dog happy, safe, and relaxed while you’re away. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of love and attention — just like one of my own! I own my own cleaning business and manage an Airbnb, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m home often throughout the day and can easily adjust my time to fit your pet’s needs. Whether your dog needs a midday walk, morning potty break, or evening cuddles, I can usually make it work. I’m used to managing multiple responsibilities and keeping things organized, so you can count on me to be reliable, punctual, and attentive to your pet’s routine. I provide pet care exclusively in my clients’ homes so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I know how important trust and consistency are, and I always treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. Before each booking, I take time to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs or quirks. I keep a close eye on their behavior, make sure they have fresh food and water, and give them the love and attention they’re used to. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, secure, and loved while you’re away — and to give you total peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
