In my single years, I cared for a beloved Jack Russel terrier from when she was an energetic pup until nearly 17. Currently, I live with my husband Seth and our two daughters, ages 11 and 13. Our little homestead includes a few chickens, a busy hive, and a cat whom we adopted five years ago. We are considering adopting a dog to keep our chickens safe from predators and to be a hiking companion in our travels. I am a full time homemaker and homeschooling parent. My schedule is very flexible. My days include educating my daughters ages 11 and 13 and running a small homestead of a few chickens, bees, and a cat. I love hiking at Ringing Rocks, Lake Nockamixon, and Delaware River canal towpath. Your dog would be a welcome companion on the hikes! If you have a senior dog, he will receive plenty of loving attention and companionship in our home. Our small homestead offers privacy and space for play and running. Your dog may enjoy cooling off in the creek that runs through the property. We live near Delaware canal towpath and Nockamixon state park. Both places offer excellent hiking and walking options for dogs!

For our canine companions, we have crates available if necessary, and although we do not have a fenced in yard, we have a walking trail right outside our house which is perfect for daily walks.

I work from home so I'll be here most of the day to care for your pet. There will be plenty of opportunities for you dog to go outside and play. We have two cats and two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who are friendly with other dogs. We allow pets on the furniture and in bed (they're family)! My husband works remotely and I am currently a student attending school virtually, so both of us are home full-time and have plenty of time to look after and play with your fur babies. We have a fenced yard and two friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to keep your dog company. We can easily crate your dog, if needed.
