“Edith was fantastic!! We left our 16 year old dog with her for a week and were super nervous because we were hundreds of miles away, but Edith gave us so much peace of mind and constantly sent us updates with pictures and videos! Our little dog looked so content and spoiled! I would highly recommend trusting your pets with Edith! Thank you so much!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter for my Doberman puppy! Marinee has so much experience with Dobermans, and it really shows. It was comforting to know my Ruby was in the hands of someone who understands the breed’s unique energy and needs. Marinee treated my Ruby like one of their own, providing plenty of exercise, playtime, and care. The updates and photos they sent were a bonus and showed just how happy and well cared for my pup was. I highly recommend Marinee to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable sitter, especially for Doberman owners. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“I am absolutely and completely impressed by the kind, genuine care and attention that Edgar and his wife shared with my lil guy Zion. The communication was very clear and consistent, that was so good. We are very grateful for them and recommend them 💯! We hope to be able to have them watch Zion again soon. Truly felt like he was with family. Thank you.”

“Vanessa and her family were really great with our dog Millie! She sent regular updates and pictures while we were away. Millie was very happy when I picked her up and she clearly loved the family.”

“We honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience! She is, without a doubt, the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, she has been so caring, attentive, and thoughtful with our babies. It gives us such peace of mind knowing they are in such good hands while we’re away. She keeps us updated, follows their routine, and you can truly tell how much she cares about them. Seeing how comfortable and happy Lucas and Maui are with her means everything to us. We are so grateful for all the love and care she gives them. We couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pets. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our babies.”

“Andrea and Jennifer were so wonderful with our dogs!!! They sent us so many great pictures and every comment they shared with us reflected our pups’ personalities exactly. We are so grateful to know that we can leave our dogs with people who care about them and we don’t have to spend a minute worrying that they are taken care of while we’re away”

“Jazmyn took great care of our doggies. She kept us updated on how they were doing. The bonus part having them stay there with her is she has two beautiful friendly doggies. They all had a great time with their new friends. Definitely will have Jazmyn watch them again!!”

“Our first time using Rover and we had an excellent experience with Amanda. Very caring and sent us updated messages thru Pipers stay. Very happy and will definitely use Amanda again !”

“Heather was awesome! My dog looked very happy the moment he arrived and when get got back he was tired from all the attention and activities he got to do! It was a safe and healthy environment that I would definitely recommend!”

“Excellent service. Responsive to my needs and communication, and Luci was very happy and clearly well cared for when I went to pick her up. Plus the area around her home is PERFECT for dog walking. My pup was very happy there”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I grew up on a farm and we had a wide range of animals. Dogs have always had a special place in my heart and are my happy place when I’m down. I have experience with every size dog and am comfortable with puppies and senior dogs. I have experience with administering medications and shots. I have three small dogs of my own, one of whom is trained to smell my blood sugar, another is a survivor of trauma. The last is just a goofball. I work full time in a hospital, but only three days a week. My work days are Friday through Sunday. Monday through Thursday are completely open. I hardly ever go out except for errands, and dogs are more fun than people, so I’d rather spend time with them. My yard is not fenced, but I have plenty of time to go on walks with them and three fur babies to keep them company. I have a crate if needed, a puppy play pen from when my babies were little, and plenty of pee pads in case of accidents. Plus a big comfy bed to cuddle in.
“Melanie took fantastic care of Bella! She sent updates with pictures and videos. I could see Bella spent quality time with Melanie and her kids and Bella being comfortable with them. Bella came home happy and tired! Highly recommend Melaine!”

“Darryl & Janice went above and beyond, truly exceeded expectations! This was our first time ever leaving our dogs with someone and our first time using Rover. They took the time to explain to us how it worked, reassured us with our concerns, they were patient and understanding! But the cherry on top that made this experience AMAZING was the report cards, certificates and bow ties they gave Zeus and Boo! They made this experience feel like they were staying at grandma and grandpas house and were spoiled! Thank you for your kindness and caring for our babies we will absolutely be returning!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Jilma. She took my dogs in on very short notice and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I really appreciated how communicative she was, she sent regular updates and tons of adorable pictures that completely put my mind at ease. It was clear my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time. I’m so grateful for her flexibility and kindness we’ll definitely be booking with her again! 🐾💛”

“Great couple! Super nice with a very clean and open environment. Their other two dogs are just awesome as well. Make good playmates with any playful dog. Highly recommended.”

“Martin and his son were excellent. Communication was consistent, and they kept us updated with pictures, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dogs were being cared for with the same level of attention and affection we would give them ourselves. Our dogs came back happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time — especially being able to interact with their dogs as well. Martin and his son were responsive, reliable, and genuinely caring. We’re very grateful they were available on a weekend and would absolutely trust them again.”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
