About: i have hands on experience working in pet care for 2 years and counting. Having worked as an operations manger at a shelter where i oversaw all pet care, handling, medications , feeding and etc! Currently, i work at a doggy day care/ boarding facilty! While i do live in apartment with a large unfenced grassy area , i provide a safe , supervised outdoor time using leashed or long leads if preferred for exercise & potty breaks! Inside, pets are kept comfortable in a pet- friendly environment shared with my dog & 2 cats! I ensure all pets will be monitored closely at all times , given plenty of attention & kept on regular routines to feel at home. About: I took care of cats when I was a teenager. I also love dogs, too. As far as I can remember, I had pets around my family household. About: I hope to be different as I have experience’s with all types of furry friends. I hope to make your life and there life stress free. I have experience working in a vet setting with dogs and cats. So I can administer any type of medication as needed. Now I am working in a board and rescue environment for dogs. I’ve dealt with crazy dogs, old dogs, aggressive dogs and scared dogs. I can do grooming such as baths, nail trimming/filing, basic trim, and ear cleaning. I also can do positive based training to work on basics like sit, lay, and waiting at doors. Any treats used will be ran by the owner before using them. I’m currently working part time at a board and rescue. Most days I work one shift so I will have plenty of free time in the morning to feed or play with your furry friend first thing around 7-8am. Usually I will also stop by to let them out again and hang out with them before going to work around 11am. After work I can come by again to feed them dinner and/or just hang out with them and play around 6 pm. My cat whiskey eats in the morning before I leave for work. He also eats again when I get off of work at night. His litter box is cleaned at least once a day. My dog Roxy free feeds as she doesn’t over eat and maintains a healthy weight. We have a small fenced area to play fetch and potty in. Me and Roxy love to get out and hike no matter what the weather is. I am also trying to find someone that would allow us to work on her herding skills. When I’m in a clients home my goal will be to keep the dog on it’s regular schedule in hopes to make it better for them.

About: I have a husky/ retriever mix named Ice. She’ is 3 years old. I also have a cat named Heidi that is 5 years old. If you’d like I can take your dog on walks, to the dog park, and on bike rides seasonally. The jetski rides are just for Ice though 😜 My hope is to eventually fill my schedule completely with pet care for when I don’t have clients scheduled for personal training at a gym. Due to living in a small apartment and having both a dog and cat I won’t be doing pet sitting out of my own home. But I’d be happy to watch pets at client’s home or at the dog park if the client prefers.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I stared working at a vets office and haven’t looked back. Pet care can look like many different things in my week such as, a single feeding, a walk, a check in or the full on in home service with all the feedings and all the walks. While, I would love to have every dog and cat over to my house I can’t realistically do that b/c I own a cat who does love other cats and she tolerates dogs, your dog or cat would have to be cat friendly. So most of my jobs are me coming to your home whether that is a drop in or a full time boarding situation while you’re on vacation.

About: I've been caring for dogs for over 20 years. In the last 10 years I have been fostering retired racing grey hounds and huskies so I'm ready to give every dog in between the care and attention they deserve. As with any of my ventures, I put forth 100% of my energy to making sure your pet has a great time while you're away. I guarantee a calm, happy and healthy pet upon your return! I've seen dogs become less anxious when they are staying in their own home, in the neighborhood they know. They know you will eventually return and they dont need the transition time it takes for them to become comfortable in a unfamilar place. For that reason, I do like to promote house sitting as the least stressful method of boarding for nervious pets. Please let me know if you require any plants to watered as id be happy to help you in any other way I can. I prefer to keep my bookings to one dog or one family at a time. This is to ensure I give each dog my full attention to keep them safe and happy while yall are missing eachother! This means that I prefer walking in quiet neighborhoods instead of a park with more distractions so I can get familiar with your dog's responses and they can get familiar with me during our first few walks together. After a few walks, and your permission, we can go to dog parks where we slowly work up to being unleased. I strive for 2 or more walks a day during the summer, 3 or more walks a day during spring, fall, and winter. When we arent walking or playing outside, me and your pets will be chilling inside with 2 or more feedings a day. If you book on a holiday it is likely I will have freeze dried chicken or salmon wet food to give your pet as a special holiday treat! I feel that if its a human holiday, its also a special day for our pets because they're family.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
