About: Hi! For many years, I was a Fear Free Certified veterinary assistant in Charlottesville, VA. I also have experience as a dog kennel manager, farm assistant & animal rescue volunteer/advocate. During my 10 years of petsitting work, i’ve learned how to make your pets as stress free as possible while your away. Petsitting is my full time job! It is easy for both myself & my clients to have such flexibility. I schedule my days off based off of my client’s bookings. I have studied animal medicine & behavior for. I am a Fear Free certified veterinary assistant. While sitting in your home, I stick to your pets’ schedule but am also happy to take your pets on additional fun activities when requested.

But I am available all day and all night on the weekends. I have my own pet. He is a rag-doll cat and he requires a lot of attention throughout the day which I love because he is very interactive. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I send texts and pictures of each visit and keep in communication with the family. If you choose to trust me with your four legged family member I guarantee they will be well taken care of and loved. I am a teacher so I have Summers to offer. My Schedule throughout the school year fills up so book in advance because I also do tutoring, and nannying throughout the week. I would love to meet you and your pup. Just reach out! I will not be able to have any dogs in my home personally because of home owner restrictions. In the clients home I would provide feelings, walks, medication, or whatever else the puppy would need. If there is a history of dogfights or biting I am not the person for you.

About: My name is Charne! I used to have an English black lab who became my service baby and was the sweetest boy on this planet. I always knew I wanted to work with animals growing up. Weather that was rescuing them or just sharing my love with them!! I am certified for wildlife animal rescue as well. I am very active and would love to do outdoor/indoor fun activities with your pets!! I am experienced in special care for pets like medication, injections, wound care, etc. Animals are life and without them where would our hearts be! I’ve always had pets from the age of 0 until now! Growing up I was raised with three dogs, two cats, and always two birds! My parents always told me you can tell a lot about a person on how they treat animals!! I currently live with my Fiancé and we rescued our pup Zeppelin from an abusive home 5 years ago. He has now grown to realize that love does exist, kisses are always wanted, and the couch/bed is the most comfortable place on earth!! He has severe allergies so I have experience in prepping a raw diet to fit his allergy needs! We also have a cat named Sage. She’s my baby and our snuggles are my favorite part of the day! I unfortunately do not allow in home pet setting at my house as our dog was a rescue and we are still not comfortable him being around other animals for longer than an hour as his patience can run out. About: My name is Alexis F. and I have over 15 years experience with dogs. We've had dogs in my family since before I was born but I really started training at the age of 7 with a local 4H club. In my free time I enjoy training animals in agility, obedience, and tracking. I have experience working with intact animals and managing dogs with behavior issues. I feel that every dog can be a good dog if they are set up for success. Every walk we take is considered training and they will be given a chance to use their brain to their fullest potential. During your dogs walks I offer two types of walk options. The first walk I offer is a training walk where we will spend 15 minutes working on heeling and 15 minutes allowing the dog to smell and go potty. I also offer hikes where your dog will be allowed to walk 1-4 miles over varying terrain depending on their fitness level and ability to get along with other animals. We try to follow owners daily routines the best we can when you leave your dog in our care so that transitions from house to house go as smooth as possible. I am well versed in giving medication and injections for dogs and I am happy to board dogs with special needs. I do ask that dogs are reasonably crate trained so that if they need to be left unattended for any amount of time they can remain in a crate for their safety. I am happy to discuss specific needs as far as crating goes. I am currently only working part time hours and am home most of the days. When I am not a home the pets are carefully monitored by camera in a dog safe part of the house. And given different items to keep them busy and enjoying their alone time. Whenever they have been in the crate they can expect a nice long romp around the property to give them ample time to use their nose and get a good run in. I have a fenced in small dog yard and we have a perimeter fence around our entire property allowing an additional level if security. When our on walks we make sure harnesses and collars are fit correctly and if there is a chance of a dog being a flight risk we take extra measures to prevent dogs from slipping out of collars. I am experienced in off leash trained dogs and I am happy to follow any specific instructions for what owners are comfortable allowing their dogs to do.

About: I have cared for dogs my whole life. My family has 3 dogs, and for 3 years we fostered special needs dogs from the animal shelter: litters of puppies, sick dogs, pregnant dogs, and dogs with special medical needs. I volunteered as a dog walker at our animal shelter. I worked for a year at a dog boarding facility handling all aspects of dog care: feeding, medication, walks and play, cleaning. I attended puppy socialization and training classes with my own dogs. I am a college sophomore available for summer, weekend and holiday pet sitting in and near Greene County. I can be with your pets overnight from dinner time to after breakfast. I have a flexible part-time daytime job, so can return for daytime potty and visits as needed. I start by understanding your pets daily routine, medical and care needs, and your expectations. I will make a visit to introduce myself before your trip. While you are away, I will send regular updates and ask any questions.
