“Our Stella always comes home from Liz’s farm happy and tired from all the fun and is so excited to see her when she goes back for another stay. We are so happy to know our Aussie is well-loved at the farm every time :)”

“Amber was so sweet and accommodating, I definitely felt comfortable leaving my Oliver with her he had his own mini vacation with some other puppies and a fenced yard! 😊 thank you”

“Angela and her mom were very loving and kind to my Nelly. Quick responses and picture updates throughout the stay. She ever took in my dog last minute on Easter Sunday. The Rover app shows the location to be closer to Blacksburg that it really is but there weren’t many other options that were compatible for Nelly so it was worth the drive! I would use this sitter again if I was in the area.”

“Walt kept our boy, Teddi, for four days. Teddi is a 3 yo intact English Shepherd who has never spent a night away from us. Teddi is a very well behaved and friendly boy but we were a bit anxious how this would go. Walt kept us well informed on how Teddi was doing. Walt gave Teddi great care and a lot of attention. When we returned to pick up Teddi, it was obvious that he and Teddy had bonded very well. We are very pleased with the care that Walt provided and will certainly use him again.”

“Lindsey was so amazing with Zade and he had the best time! I didn’t have to worry for a second about him being in good hands because she was so great with him! With out a doubt will use Lindsey again if needed in the future!”

“Maverick loves when we pull up to Nancy’s house. It’s his home away from home! He has an instant dog friend and a warm & cozy house to play and relax in. I love getting pictures of him playing with DeDe and other dog friends. I’m so thankful Nancy is very accommodating with our crazy drop off and pick up times!”

“Brette watched our two little doggies and cat and I couldn't be more satisfied with the care they received. She kept me updated throughout their stay. Communication was excellent. My babies looked relaxed and happy in photos. I will definitely use Brette again whenever the need arises.”

About: I always grew up with my own animals and knew I wanted to to be a veterinarian one day. When I was in high school I started my own dog walking business to make some money and then heard a doggy daycare was opening up in town. I was the first to apply! I worked there for a while until I started at a local veterinarian at 16. Now I am going into my second year of vet school and wanted a way to fill some of my free time. Due to my busy class schedule I only have a cat right now, so I really enjoy spending extra time with dogs! My goal is to adopt a pit bull mix by the end of vet school because they have a special place in my heart! Over the past seven years, I’ve had the privilege of working with animals in a variety of settings from general care to specialty medicine to emergency and my passion for them only continues to grow. I'm skilled in administering medications and injections, caring for both puppies and senior pets, assisting with more challenging or nervous animals, and understanding dog behavior and body language. During the summer I’m working two days a week at Virginia Tech's Veterinary Teaching Hospital so the rest of the time I can devote to pet sitting! Unfortunately, my schedule does change week to week. During the school year my schedule also varies as labs are different days/times every week, however, they are only two hours long so I am flexible for the rest of the day! I also keep my schedule up to date on Rover! I'm available most days. Just message me about times and I will get back to you as soon as possible! I currently live in an apartment. I have one cat and my roommate has a cat. They both do well with dogs and will mainly keep to themselves and stay in our rooms. We are trying to socialize them more to dogs to get them more comfortable for when we adopt one in the next year! In our apartment we have two floors so we can keep the animals together when we are home and then separate them with a baby gate when we go out. There is a large unfenced backyard behind my apartment that is a communal space and lots of walking trails around including the Huckleberry Trail!

“We felt very comfortable leaving our 10 lb Cavapoo with Kurt. We’ve used Rover a few times before, but this was our best experience. He sent us some pictures to show that she had settled in which was very nice. Will definitely use again.”

About: Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested. As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well. I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

About: I grew up around dogs and have been a dog Mom for almost three years now. I believe that dogs deserve a full life filled with new experiences and activities. I'm your girl if you want your pup to be active and social while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs of different temperaments and ages. Please let me know what your dog's needs are and I will accommodate you all as best I can. I understand the pain of leaving your puppy with a stranger - rest assured, I will treat your pup with as much respect and affection as my own. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a meet and greet if you would like to see if I am a good fit for your pup. I have worked remote the last few years which means your dog will rarely be without my presence during their stay. I will fit their schedule and needs in right alongside my own dog's. I have a large unfenced back yard where our dog loves to play. We are happy to crate your dog, put them on a long lead outside and do anything that makes you comfortable and assured that your pet is safe.

“Bethany was amazing with Dax! I wasn’t worried a bit while I was on my trip!! He had the best time playing with her and her pups! Highly recommend will 100% be rebooking in the future when I need someone to watch my dog!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up around labs. Currently we have a Great Dane and a lab. I have had experience training puppies and working with dogs who are older. My sister also trains dogs professionally and has taught me a lot. I currently work full time. I am available for boarding on weekends. I also have some evening availability for walks or play dates. I teach so in the summers my availability is more open. I have a fenced in yard and two of my own fur babies to keep your pups entertained. I believe that pets are members of the family too. They sound have lots of snuggles and play time. We let our pups on the couch and occasionally give table scraps.

“Ria is a very responsible lady and takes wonderful care of her dog Yoshi. I’ve visited her house and it’s one of the cleanest houses I’ve been in! She has a big beautiful yard for both dogs and cats to run freely and peacefully! She’s watched both of my cats before as well and was very diligent about taking pictures of them and noting how much they both ate. I would definitely suggest her for any type of pet sitting.
