Shayna is very professional and conscientious and she was great about communicating on medications for our dog with Addison’s. This made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our trip! About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

“Emma was great! Responsive, responsible, and great with my pup! I'm a sitter myself on Rover, so my bar is pretty high and I'm quite picky with who I let into my hope and who I ask to watch my dog. Emma was all green flags right away. She made it easy to set up a meet-and-greet. Came over and let me take the time to go over all the particulaties of the space (there were many) -- I've recently moved into my Grandma's home, as she died a few months back. Her keepsakes and belongings are still everywhere in the space, And I thought it would be nerve-wracking to let someone into that space with so many priceless (to me) items were still all over the place. Emma heard me out and made me feel confident that she understood where I was coming from and how special the space was to me. After an hour with Emma, I was totally at ease. My dog took to her right away, and I'm sure yours will too! Book Emma while you still can! As a sitter myself, I finally have another person to refer my clients to when I'm not available (it took years to find someone I'd trust with my clients). Emma will be my go-to when I'm out of town, and she should be yours too.”

About: I’ve grown up taking care of dogs, fish, and especially cats! I have training from the SPCA on dog walking, cat care, and some skill/behavioral training for both cats and dogs. I have 3 years of fish keeping experience. I currently have my own cat (he’s orange!) and I am fostering a mother and her kitten for the time being. I am willing to help clean around the house as well! I have indoor/outdoor plants and I can take care of your plants while you are away - I have a green thumb :) I’ve helped friends and clients with farm animals, including feeding and cleaning their spaces. I am currently in college, but only have classes Monday and Wednesday and can work around my school schedule. I am gentle with the animals and can do grooming such as brushing and can try nail clipping if your pets allow it!

About: Hello! I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up riding horses & as an only child my pets were my best friends. As I’ve grown into an adult, the friends I’ve made usually come with bonus friends (their pets). I’ve had friends/roommates that are pet professionals (groomers/vet techs) & I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge along the way. I’ve been lucky enough to be welcomed into my furry friends homes to care for them as their people are away, feeling comfortable with their sitter. I like to do a meet and greet to get to know your loved one and follow any instructions to the letter. Young to advanced age, trust they will be well cared for as if they were my own. My schedule is currently open, not including any pending appointments. I’m very flexible with reliable transportation and can meet your needs morning afternoon or night. I prefer to care for your pet in their own home where they are most comfortable. They have my full attention when you are away. My husband is loved by every animal he meets and is the best teammate.

About: Our family of two is pet-friendly. Dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals were guests in our house—all the way from small puppies to giant heavy mastiffs. Safe house for your pets. No neighbor dogs, only squirrels. The yard is protected around with fences and trees. My husband is a military medic trained to help dogs if needed. Can take care of oral medication, IV, pills. My husband is at home 99% since he is in Air Force Online Program right now, and I am at home most of the time. Our family very flexible on the weekends with the schedule and always happy to help other with their trips and dog stays. We have a fenced yard and have only one puppy, a lot of space inside and outside. My husband and I are very active and happy to take care of our little friends.

About: I have taken care of dogs on my own since I got my dog Mr. Buddy who is an Australian Shepard. I raised him from a puppy when I got him in Alaska when I was in the air force. I also watch my sister's dogs all the time, and I've decided to turn my love of dogs into a profession. I've learned a lot about dogs from great people like ceaser milon and the dog father, and many great people I've met along the way on my travels in the military. Your dogs will be well taken care of under my care. I have decided to do this as a full time gig. I want to be my own boss and work better with animals then I do people lol. I have delt with dogs of every age from my grandparents older German Shepard of 14 years old to my dog Mr. Buddy as a young 12 week old pup. I can assure that I will adhere to any safety practices that you want for your fur baby. I also have my 4 year old Aussie, Mr. Buddy, that does great with other dogs and socializing them. I've seen him help mentally troubled dogs many times. Off course I will not bring him if the client doesn't want him there. But once again I care assure that any dog will be safe under my care.
