“Anastasiia was absolutely FANTASTIC with both our dog AND our home. We hired her to watch our house and our dog, Finn, for a week while we visited family 2000 miles away, and would hire her again in a heartbeat. She met us a few weeks before the booking for a meet-and-greet with our dog and so she could get to know him and so we could familiarize her with the house. She did fantastic with all of Finn's meals and medications, played with him a ton, snuggled him endlessly, and sent 75 pictures over the course of a week, complete with king and thoughtful updates on how everything is going. Beyond that, she took incredibly good care of our house. We left it very clean before our trip, and somehow we returned to it even cleaner than when we left - dishes spotless and put away, garbage and recycling taken out, bed re-made, the whole 9 yards. We highly recommend her for anyone considering a dog watcher and/or house-sitter!”
About: I grew up with so many pets from cats and dogs to bunnies and snakes. My roomate has a cat and Ive been traveling a lot so no pets for me right now but I would still love to interact with pets on my day to day. I work 9-5 but it is a flexible schedule. “We had a great experience with Lauren. She bravely took on a job no one else seemed to want, which was house-sitting and dog-sitting for two 6 month old puppies who are not yet house-trained. Housebreaking chihuahua puppies is a lot of work. (We're still working on it...), so this job required an extra dose of patience and diligence. Lauren sent us updates and photos of the puppies while we were away. She also kept our large selection of house plants alive, which is another job unto itself. I can't recommend Lauren highly enough, Anyone who gets Lauren to house or dog-sit is very lucky! We hope to hire her again next time we travel. About: I won't just treat them as a "pet" I treat all animals as family. I have taken care of various dog and cats from family members and friends since I was a child. This included staying over, walking, feeding, training and playing. At the moment I am pursuing schooling for dog training so I have open availability I usually ask for a days notice but it never hurts to ask. I have had experience with larger dogs (German shepherds, Great Pyerenese, Pitbulls and Saint Bernards) as well as small dogs (Chihuahua's, Shih Tzu and Dachshunds). I also provide baths and nail trimming when asked. I enjoy running too so if your looking to get your dog in shape! If your pets coming to my house they must be crate trained (for when I sleep) and friendly with other dogs.

I love to play fetch with the dogs and play with cats when they find the time! I will drop everything I can to ensure that the animals in my care are well taken care of and that the area around them is better than when I arrived. I currently work in Spokane, WA at an accounting firm from 8-5 everyday with an hour lunch break. I am free almost every weekend and would love to spend time with some animals in my free time. I keep all areas clean; I clean up after the animals 2+ times a day or when necessary. I ensure they are fed at the correct times with the correct amount of food and ensure that their water is clean and full every day. I give tons of love to the animals and respect the owner's rules and regulations. I keep in contact, during the stay, with the owner if that is what they prefer.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
