“Our dog Mint came to us as an adult rescue with a tender heart and big separation anxiety. She trembles and cries to ride in a car, uncertain where she’s being taken. On her third visit with Brody, as soon as we turned into his driveway she quieted and started wagging. As I drove away, the rearview mirror showed her dancing around his legs and eagerly running to his front door. Priceless peace of mind!”

“Today was Winnie's first stay with Lindsey and it was great! Winnie had a fun day running in the back yard and playing with her dog, Coco. We are so happy with Lindsey and Andrew! She kept us posted and sent cute photos! Winnie has another stay coming up in October.”

About: I’ve been a reliable dog sitter for family and friends for 25 years. I’m excited to meet new dog friends and enjoy making memories with your pet! I am a flexible stay at home mom with one dog of my own. I am able to assist families on a short notice or plan ahead! I have one dog in my home that is friendly with other dogs. We have a large fenced in backyard for play. We also have space for crated dogs.

About: I love animals! After having my daughter I opted to pet sit for friends instead of adopting another dog of my own, and it's been a great treat. Now I'm opening up my services to others! I have a great fenced in yard and will make sure your fur-baby gets regular walks around town. I've volunteered with shelters and rescue organizations, and been through a lot of training with my own dogs. I work from home, so am able to provide walks in the morning and evening, and potty breaks throughout the day. I am happy to follow any protocol for care. I am very attentive to pets and they will always be under my watchful eye! Even when outside. I am comfortable crating, or they can have free range in the house.

“Thank you so much for an amazing day! Pork chop has missed being around others, and I can tell he really enjoyed being a part of your pack (both human and canine)! We will definitely book with you again!”

About: I've had pets all my life, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and fish. I have experience caring for chickens & lizards as well. I have fostered puppies also. My animals are part of my family & I will look after yours in the same way & with the same love. I am a stay-at-home Mom. Your pet will have lots of attention and love. I have dogs also so your pup can make a friend. I have a fenced yard and friendly dogs to play with your furbaby. My living room is gated off if your pup needs separate attention.

About: I have taken care of animals for most of my life. I foster puppies for a local rescue and enjoy the pitter patter of their little feet. I don’t go a day without loving on my animals and seeing to their needs. I always joke that I work to afford their milk bones. I work from home full time and take breaks throughout the day to let the dogs out (while I sing the song.) I also enjoy loving on my dogs and playing with their toys so they get nice and sleepy for the night. At our home, every dog in our care is treated like a cherished member of our own family. We understand that leaving your pup in someone else’s hands is a big decision, which is why we go above and beyond to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. Our home offers a large fenced-in yard where your dog can run, play, and explore to their heart’s content. For added peace of mind, we’ve invested in a state-of-the-art GPS tracking device that attaches to your dog’s collar or harness during their stay. While we’ve never needed it, we believe in taking every precaution to keep your furry family member safe—the tracker’s battery life lasts over a month, ensuring continuous protection even in the rarest of situations. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch, fun in the yard, or quiet time for rest, we make sure each dog feels loved, secure, and cared for as if they were our own. Because here, they’re not just guests—they’re family (like Olive Garden!) Please note: Due to our work schedules, please make sure to be as accurate as you can on the drop off and pick up time. We do plan our day around this information. We are unable to accommodate pickups after 8:00 PM on weekdays except under special circumstances.

“Faith took incredible care of my Laila. She sent messages and videos throughout the day and Lai came home so happy. I definitely recommend her as an amazing option for dog care.”

“Hailey was quick to respond to communication and flexible with minor timing changes. Finn seemed perfectly happy when I picked him up. A good experience for my first time using Rover.”

“When my dogs are with Daniel and Whitney, I feel like they are with trusted friends. They have a great and safe experience each time, with lots of doggo love given (and received) !”

About: Hi! My name is Chesnut. I’m kind and compassionate and will love caring for your furry buddy. I have grown up taking care of my family’s dogs and have two of my own for the last five years. P.s. If you have a really active dog, I love taking dogs on runs or hikes or long walks. I work from home so available all week long. On weekends my husband and I tend to go hiking, so if the dogs enjoy hikes we will take them, but if not then we can adjust our schedules. We have an unfenced yard for potty breaks (leashed), but will take the dogs to the local dog park for exercise or on leashed walks/hikes.

About: I’ve had dogs of all sizes in my life since I was 2 yo, and I’ve trained multiple of them. I’ve also had pet rats, a gecko, fish, cats, and a brief horse phase. My childhood dream was to be a zoo keeper, but I ended up becoming a social worker instead. However, I still maintain that great love for all animals and have the goal of integrating animals into my therapy practice once I’m licensed. I am willing to work with most types of pets, including the traditional “creepy” ones. Throughout the years, roommates, friends, and family members have trusted me to take care of their pets. Many people have even told me that their pet warmed up to me sooner than most. I like to think I have the kind of calming, kind energy that animals appreciate. I’d love to hang out with your furry/scaly friend sometime and help lessen your load! I’m between jobs at the moment, so I am very flexible as long as you give me a little heads up. My boyfriend lives in VA, so I’m sometimes there for a few days, usually every other weekend. But otherwise, I’m readily available and willing to work with you and your schedule. I have experience caring for dogs in homes in both urban and rural places and understand the risks involved with both. I always practice proper walking etiquette, making sure to provide ample space between other dogs/people. I do everything I can to ensure everyone’s safety. Before caring for your pet, I will ask for you to disclose anything about them that I should be aware of, which I’ll keep careful note of. I will maintain quick, open communication throughout our time working together and will provide regular updates.

About: I grew up volunteering and working at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, which sparked my passion for animals at a young age. I have experience with exotics like snakes, birds, turtles and salamanders. My mom is a licensed rehabilitator, and I gained valuable knowledge assisting her with rehabilitating birds and baby opossums. I personally have a horse, two adorable dogs, and a cat. I also have a flock of chickens! I have experience as a service dog handler and am able to administer maintenance medications to animals if needed. I have over a year of medical experience working as an Equine Veterinary Assistant as well! Taking care of animals is part of my daily routine. I am working part-time and have time when I am not working to do pet care. I understand the importance of providing animals with the attention and care that they need. Whether it is a leashed walk or supervised play in a fenced yard for a dog. Or brushing and spending time with a cat I always ensure safety first!

Chesnut S.
“Chesnut is a very reliable, conscientious young lady who loves animals but has not been in a position to have one of her own. She would be attentive to your pet's needs and go above and beyond what you ask of her in caring for your pet. She is someone you can depend on to do what you need her to do and to love on your pet in your absence. She has cared for her brother's dog on several occasions and has had cats of her own when she lived at home. She will notice if something is different about your pet, especially if she has had time to get to know the animal, and will let you know if she thinks something is not "right". I'd trust Chesnut with a pet.”

Alicia L.

“Alicia was willing to watch Maggie at the last minute. She dealt well with a dog who has a little bit of separation anxiety.”

Lilly E.

“Great communication and great with my dog. Thank you!”
