About: I’ve been playing, walking, bathing dogs since I was around 11 and I have watched my neighbors dogs since I was 16. I have also trained some of my own pups as well. I’m currently in college but as I’m doing online classes, I can watch your pets whenever I’m needed too. I can watch your pets from anytime to 6 p.m. I’m currently residing in an apartment around the USM campus with plenty of places to walk if needed to. I would rather watch them at your place as my manger won’t allow any pets.
About: I am a Least intrusive minimally aversive dog trainer, and AKC evaluator. I foster with multiple rescues. I have experience working with all types of dogs. I am very knowledgeable on dog body language, behavior, and genetics. You can also visit us on instagram for pictures of past and current boarding pups, and don’t forget to send us a message on Instagram with the word “Rover” to unlock an exclusive discount Avalon.k9s I have a flexible schedule as I work for myself, I spend my free time training dogs, and when I’m busy I’m also training dogs. I have a whole room in my house dedicated to dogs, but they’re welcome anywhere in the house, I have a fenced in yard and I’m located close to some lakes. I have tons of unique enrichment opportunities for your pups, including things like snuffle mats, puzzles, kongs, and more. My house is puppy proofed, because I often foster and train dogs! Being a multiple dog household I cannot board any dog with same sex aggression, human aggression, or idiopathic aggression, and reactive dogs will be a case by case basis, However, being a trainer I am more than open to help families work through these issues. Please let me know of any medical conditions or allergies! I like to use treats when working with dogs, so I recommend bringing some yummy high value treats so their tummy doesn’t get upset! If you are interested in dog training and would like to do a Board & Train contact me for more details! I also offer training packages during boarding, so if you want your pup to work on some basic obedience feel free to ask for more info!
About: I've been fortunate to have dogs in my life since I was a kid, and now I'm excited to offer my dog sitting services. I have experience caring for dogs, as I used to dog sit for my parents' friends in high school. From walks to baths and feedings I'll provide your fur babies with the love and attention they deserve. Let me take care of your dogs like they're my own! 🐾❤️ Currently working in a boutique I would be away for 6-7 hours a day mostly do slit shifts, have some days off during the week and weekends. I’m living in an apartment. We have a doggy park, with toys, dog water bowels, fenced in, a doggy spa for bath time. I have a roommate that would be here to keep the dog company also

About: I love being engaged and active with each and every fur baby I’m blessed to watch. I love seeing their individual personalities blossom and grow! I can travel if needed. I create my schedule around my clients wants and needs. I try my best to be as flexible as possible because life happens to all of us. I am very willing to travel beyond the 60 mile radius allowed. I make sure to stay on any established schedule they may have and make sure that each and every one has the love and affection they so deserve.
About: I have loved animals ever since I was in elementary. I have had 5 Dogs, from a German Shepard to a little Yorkie Poodle mix. Currently I have 2 Guinea Pigs and 2 Leopard Geckos and a beautiful cat named karma. Family members and friends have asked me to look after their fur babies for days and entrusted them with me. I give my all when watching the fur babies and treat it as if they were mine. :) I am currently a full time college student, I am studying marine biology and plan to use that degree to go to a veterinarian School. While I may have classes in the morning and late afternoon, I have plenty of time to look after the beautiful fur babies you trust me with. When first entering an environment, it's important to take a mental note of any hazards that could be a danger to the animal. Any hazards being, loose metal wires they could chew, or foods that may be dangerous to them. Examining a new environment is also important. Always making sure to not have any allowed guests inside the customers house is very important part of great service as well, to instill that trust that the client has put in you for their furry loved one!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Bains. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking bookings, your dog walker can send a Rover Card with details about your dog’s walk. Rover Cards require at least one photo and may include a map of the walking route , the total walk time and distance, and any pee or poop breaks recorded by the walker.
The route map lets you review where your dog was walked in Bains after the booking. It is not live GPS tracking.
Have specific details you would like included? Message your dog walker in the app before the walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your walker interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and walker for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
