To pick him up at 4:30, return him to the B&B, and then drive back to dinner venue would have added about 15 - 18 miles of driving in somewhat heavy traffic. My latest available pick-up/drop-off time is between 7-8PM. I have a small fenced yard and a large home. Our home has three cats and one dog. I've had them since they were kittens. Zoey grew up with the cats, so she is well trained with cats and she is very well behaved. Zoey and the cats get along with other animals very well. They are sweet, loving pets that play together and nap side-by-side. I work from home full time, so I am always at the house. I am very flexible to whatever your pet's routine is. Whatever they need, I can incorporate it into my day. At booking, I will provide a questionnaire and you can advise me of any needs or requests for your pet's routine, and I will make their routine a part of mine! In my home, I provide pets with several comfortable areas for them to lounge and sleep in, with bedding and blankets. I also provide several toys and chew toys that are usually left out for them to play with (unless requested not to). Meals are kept on schedule and any mediation or vitamins are administered on-time. Water is always filtered and clean, changed daily (or use a continuous running system). Safety is my top priority. I want to ensure that your pet has a safe and relaxing time during their stay, I will provide a separate room for your animal if needed or requested, with their own bedding and play-area. I have several rooms in the house that are not used, so I keep this space reserved for your pets. I will collect your vet information at booking and take your pet to their vet if necessary; I also am a member of the local Dauphin County Animal Hospital, which I can use if needed for emergencies. I will maintain communication with you and check-in daily with photos; I am also open to take any inquiries, if you would like to check-in on your pets.
About: My family has had multiple dogs growing up my whole child hood and I now have 3 dogs of my own. I have a Pit Bull, a Husky, and a Shiba Inu. I have worked with all dogs from Great Danes to Jack Russel’s, from new born puppies and helping deliver to geriatric dogs that need special care. I genuinely love all animals and I will treat yours as I would treat mine. And for those of you looking for care for you cats, I had 3 cats growing up 2 of which are still with my parents today. I do also have experience with newborn kittens and geriatric cats as we got two of our cats as kittens and our oldest cat recently passed but we had her for her whole 16 and 1/2 years. “Amber's husband took very good care of our Bisous. I was nervous leaving her because it was my first time using a dog sitter. Everything went well and he was very attentive to her. The other dogs were bigger than her but he made sure she was comfortable and that the dogs all got along well. They have a nice big fenced in yard which makes it nice on a sunny day for the dogs to be outside. I would recommend them to other dog owners.”
