About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud rescue dog parent with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs. I know firsthand how tough it can be to find affordable, trustworthy help—especially when juggling a busy schedule. That’s what inspired me to become a Rover sitter: to offer dependable, compassionate care for your pets when you need it most. My two pups (a spunky senior Jack Russell/Heeler mix and a mid-aged Husky/Heeler) keep me active and on my toes, and I frequently care for my sister-in-law's dogs as well. I’m experienced with dogs who need a little extra TLC, including those on special diets, daily medications, or unique routines. Whether you need someone to drop in for a quick potty break or want your dog to feel at home while you're away, I treat every pet like family—with patience, attention, and love. I'm flexible! I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule during the days. I work about ~10-15 hours a week and don't have a set 9-5 type schedule. I can do my work whenever, wherever! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs at home. I treat my dogs like they are my BABIES - they get a ton of attention, pets, belly rubs, walks, and kisses. We do a lot of walks in our neighborhood and like to bring our pets on adventures.

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me. My stepdad was the head of animal control, which taught me a lot about animal behavior, safety, and compassion at a young age. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently share my heart (and couch!) with two of my own—Sassy, my sweet 17-year-old dachshund who I’ve had since 2011, and Oakley, a playful 6-year-old lab I adopted from the local animal shelter. I understand the unique needs of both senior dogs and high-energy pups, and I treat every animal in my care like family. Whether your pet needs gentle senior support, active playtime, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help with dependable, loving care. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I work from home most of the week, which allows me to give my dogs plenty of attention, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. On the days I’m in the office, I’m only five minutes from home, so I’m able to come back easily to let my dogs out and check in on them. Their well-being is always a top priority, and I structure my day to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for—I’d do the same for yours! I care for pets in whatever way is most comfortable for them. I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. If your pet loves their kennel, that’s perfectly fine—but if they prefer to cuddle up in bed, I’m more than happy to share the extra snuggles! Whether it’s playtime, walks, feeding routines, or just relaxing on the couch, I do my best to make every pet feel safe, loved, and right at home.

“Brittany was prompt and reliable. She did not seem at all turned off by my two dogs’ energy level and ‘enthusiasm’ (including jumping) when she met them. I believe she did a great job exercising them. They seemed relaxed and settled when I returned home. I appreciated how well she kept in contact and the pictures she sent!”

About: I am currently working at a doggy daycare and have pet sit dogs for over 5 years! I love to be outside with dogs and help them get all their energy out or just lay in the sun! I am currently part time in school finishing up my degree and working part time at a doggy daycare so I have a flexible schedule and can fit daily walks in! My weekends are also pretty open so I have plenty of time to hang out with some pets! Because I do have two cats, I am not comfortable bringing pets into my home but I have plenty of experience pet sitting in other homes and have no problem coming to you and making your pet as comfortable as possible with a new person in their home!

About: My daughter and I are dog sitting for two reasons -- we flat out love dogs and my daughter is saving for college. While supporting my daughter's entrepreneurial spirit your dog will get a vacation of a lifetime. Without getting too deep into my resume, here are some highlights: -Handled five police dogs. 1000's of deployments. -Master Trainer for the International Police Work Dog Association. -Developed and taught a unique dog safety program. Have presented the hands on program from everyone to 1000's of second graders to regional UPS drivers. -Recognized expert witness in court on dog tracking, aggression, training, and deployment. -Over 75 nationally published articles on dog obedience, housing, behavior, training, etc. -Tested, certified, and trained working dogs from nearly all 50 states and several countries. (This year I've had dog teams travel to my home from Montana, Florida, Iowa, etc for assistance). I do all this because I simply love interacting with dogs. The love has spread to my 13 year old daughter. I currently have a very fun, young, and goofy dog -- a Vizsla named "Ranger." He clearly isn't a working dog and isn't a picture of obedience perfection. (I only mention this to let you know that despite my resume your dog doesn't have to be perfect and is coming into a very fun and loving household!) We've truly been a dog centered household for 20 years. My wife is a literal Saint! My private dog training rates, and I've turned down much more work than I've accepted, runs 10x the Rover.com rate we are charging. This is truly a venture that partners up youth business and the love of dogs. Long live Capitalism, dogs, and the USA!

“Izzy was great and our pups loved her! We reached out to Izzy last minute, as we needed someone to let our pups out/walk them while we were out of town unexpectedly. She came over and met them both ahead of time, and our very timid rescue dog immediately took to Izzy. She was on time each day, and let me know when she arrived and was leaving. She made sure their food and water was full, and locked the house when she left. We will definitely be reaching out to her next time we need some help!”

About: If my husband would let me, I’d buy a zoo (come on powerball). I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I’ve never met a pet that I didn’t want to spoil and cuddle. My daughter calls me a “stay at home pet mom”. Most days I’m home all day, with the exception of an occasional errand, appointment, drop ins for other dogs, or maybe a date night. We have 3 rescue kitties, who are like my tiny babies, very spoiled. Bam- who loves to help walk all the pups, and my girls- Pumpkin, and Elsa- who try to avoid visiting dogs ant ALL cost. Basically I’m their “do-girl”. They all know how to talk me into extra treats. We also have Cash- a 1.5 year old, 30lb. Cocker Spaniel- who likes to think he’s a 125lb Husky. He hasn’t met a dog, big or small, he doesn’t like. I have had to administer meds in the past and don’t mind doing so. Animal caretaking is my full time job and my family is 1000% okay with that. I’ve never met an animal that I didn’t want to bring home with me. We just moved from Sparta to Ravenna, and we’re now on 3 acres. Your fur baby is invited and encouraged to make our house their home away from home. They will be well spoiled and loved, as my entire family will be doting on them.

About: We lost our dog, Sophie, 2 years ago so until we find our next rescue I love watching other dogs to get my "dog fix" I work full-time from 7:30am-4pm Tues-Fri. I do work from home on Mondays and I'm available weeknights and weekends. I'm willing to come to your house or your pet is welcome to come to mine. I live in a quiet development where I can walk your dog easily on sidewalks and we have a large yard to play fetch. We also have lots of dog toys we saved.

“Gabby was very sweet and kind. My dog lilly came home and just relaxed. I was hesitanted on letting a stranger walk my dog because she is apart of the family. I was glad I took the lep. I am recovering from surgery so unable to walk a 60+ pound dog. I highly recommend her.”

About: My family and I have always had pets. Mainly Dogs and Cats, I was able to grow up around Terriers, Retrievers, Rottweilers, Bulldogs, and Mixed Breeds. Each pet is a member of the family. Currently, I am a student at Ferris State working part-time. Able to spend lots of time and give lots of care to pets. On Weekdays I am free almost every evening. About: HI, my name is Lenore, - My love for animals began when I was very young... - A few years ago, my Sheltie, Spencer... at 10 wk old, was already highly intelligent, and so full of love. In 3 days time, was house trained, and enrolled in Puppy Pre-School at a local PETSMART. He was such a quick learner, sitting and staying in no time! - Years later, my youngest Son and I, owned registered AKC, Siberian Huskies, and raised and sold 4 litters of puppies. Such fun. - a few other animals I've cared for; dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, bearded dragons, fish, eels, a chinchilla, pet snakes....but said no to a tarantula! Just can't do that one!! - thank you ahead of time for your consideration, you will NOT regret putting your trust in me. - Calm, and easy going are my characteristics, as i have plenty of time, and a big heart, to devote to caring for your companion, friend and family member!! Also being a loving & giving person, my priority would be, to fully enjoy caring for your dog, or pet... fulfilling a desire in me to again have a dog in the house, to care for, to spend time with, talk to, & treat 'royally' (spoil) :)) enjoying every second of the blessing. I will take only one dog at a time unless you have two, who know each other, and get along. That way, I can & will devote lots of extra TLC for your best friend...and will definitely treat them as if they were my own, with utmost of value and importance, how they deserve! Thank You lenore My availability for Your Dearest Companion is 24/7. They will have my undevided loving attention. I truly care and will treat them as my own! She enjoys brushing, taking pets on walks, playing with them, or just hanging around, doing the smallest or simplest things, and much more. I don’t know any reason why anyone would not want Grace as a caregiver of your own pet(s).”

Mark M.
“Mark changed our dog's life, and probably saved it. We adopted a Belgian Malanois that dropped out of the police academy because she was deemed "not courageous enough". She's an absolutely wonderful dog and we love her to bits. She was perfect when we first received her but once she passed that 1 year mark we started having aggression and possession issues when it came to her toys and other dogs. We tried EVERYTHING and seemed to make progress then one slip would put her right back into the bad behaviors. Her focus is unmatched and when she was focused on a lizard or ball, it was almost impossible to get her attention without physical touching her to remind her that you were there. After what could have been a very serious accident, we knew we needed to really focus on getting her prey-drive behavior in check but felt like we were out of ideas. We met Mark by accident and after some chatting found out about his experience with Mal's in particular. He was more than happy to let us bring our dog over to socialize with his and teach us how to curb the behaviors we were seeing. After only a week with Mark, our Mal was a completely different dog! We have only had a few issues almost a year later but with what Mark had taught us we were able to discipline accordingly in a manner she understood. She has quickly learned what is acceptable. People compliment us ALL THE TIME about how well-behaved our dog is and how obedient she is with commands. I run with her almost every day and smile every time someone has to struggle to control their dog and mine simple casts theirs a side-glance. Mark is truly an incredible person. He was so selfless to take his time to help us with our baby girl and teach us so much about training in general. He has years of experience and an endless wealth of knowledge. He has become a great friend of ours and we enjoy daily walks with him and his amazing dog, Ranger! Mark has had an incredible impact on our life and our Mal's. We will never be able to thank him enough for his help! ”

Laberta W.
“Laberta is an absolute gem!!! I have a high energy, trouble making Vizsla puppy (named Ruby) that I thought only a mother could love . But Laberta showers Ruby with love and attention … so much so that my pup gets so excited to see her that she doesn’t even notice that I’m leaving for the weekend ! I know my dog is high maintenance but Laberta takes her in with loving, open arms … she spends quality time with Ruby outside walking and playing . (I know because she sends updates and pictures which I love because it makes for worry-free getaways 😊 … and that is priceless ) . I couldn’t ask for a better pet sitter for my fur baby ❤️”

Olivia S.
“Livi has been pet sitting my dog for almost six months now. She genuinely cares for the well being of him, and makes sure he has a blast when she is there. Not only does she make sure he is having fun and takes him out regularly, she always gives me advice on nutrition and grooming tips. Livi has a lot of background with dogs and has a lot of knowledge that she eagerly passes on, which is great! I don't trust a lot of people with my dog, but Livi is easily one of the most trust worthy people that has dog sat for me, therefore my mind is at ease when she is with him. P.S. My dog goes through puppy depression when she is away because he loves all the attention and cuddles she provides!”

Morgan H.
“Morgan is great with dogs! I have two of my own and I can always rely on her to help let them out or take them on a walk if needed! She has many of times helped me out in a short notice! She has a passion for dogs and it shows with each one that she meets! She is perfect for this job and she will always make your dog feel special and loved!”

Nathan P.
“Nathan has cared for our pets since they came into our home. We have 3 cats and a dog. All of our animals adore Nathan. I recommend Nathan to be a pet caregiver as he will show your pets the love they deserve.”

Lenore D.

“Lenore is so kind and patient with animals, she has a very tender and kind demeanor that reflects in her care of animals. She loves to teach animals tricks and had taught her dog lots of them, she even taught her cat some tricks. She will make a great dog sitter and you can't go wrong choosing to leave you dog with her. She is an extremely responsible pet owner and your dog will love going to visit her!”

Dayna W.
“Dayna is an amazing dog mom to her own puppy. She goes above and beyond for any dog! She has cared for my dog in the past and just loves on him as I do!”

Desi W.
