About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who loves all creatures big or small, furry or scaly. I grew up with pets of all kinds and have always enjoyed caring for them, spending time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I currently have two dogs, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your beloved pet. One is a 5-year old pit/boxer mix and the other is a new member of the household who is just a puppy and is a Catahoula/pit mix. I also have a human baby, so I’d prefer your fur baby be good with kiddos, but I can keep them separate if needed. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, or simply some extra love while you’re away, I’d be happy to help! My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your furry family members receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. 🐾❤️ I have my own in-home daycare with little ones M-F so I am home all the time, making it convenient for me to care for your furry friend when needed. We usually spend a majority of our days in the basement where I have my daycare space set up, so the animals can have a quieter area (unless they’d rather be with me and the kiddos) on the main floor, which is fairly spacious. My husband also has a flexible job where he can work at home fairly often, so he will also be around to help with the animals when needed. I have a smaller sized fenced backyard and a super friendly and submissive 5-year old pup of my own that can help make your pet feel comfortable here. Your dog has free range of the house, but I can also crate him/her if preferred.

“This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Let the pampering begin! 🐶🐾 I am out of school and I'm home all day on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. I have a part-time job working as a dental assistant on Tues-Wed-Thurs, from 9am-2 pm. However, the hours are flexible as I can leave late or arrive early or not go if I'm busy and it is more of a learning experience for me. So I can be a little flexible, so shoot me a message and we can figure it out :) I live in an apartment, but make no mistake, we spend plenty of time outside! Throughout the day, I keep owners updated with photos, videos, and messages to provide peace of mind. We're fortunate to reside near a dog park, allowing for daily visits to keep our furry guests active and entertained. Exercise and playtime are essential parts of our routine, and I'm more than happy to ensure your dog gets ample opportunity to socialize and have a blast. In our home, we prioritize comfort and relaxation, so you won't find any crates here. Instead, your pup will have free reign to chill on the couch and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. If I need to step out briefly for a quick errand, I'll make sure to secure the bedroom doors and let them have full access to the living room. Depending on the dog's temperament, I may even bring them along on my short outings. (See my typical day below for more info)

About: I have loved critters of all kinds since childhood. I attended obedience training for my family Rottweiler at age 6, and have cared for many big-breed dogs such as pitbulls, American bulldogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, labs, and more. I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family starting as early as middle school, and am also very comfortable around small breeds and senior babies. I have experience with Boston terriers, yorkies, daschunds, beagles, and more. I have and am comfortable with administering necessary meds or topicals for pets with extra health needs. I have a dining area with an extra couch that can be sectioned off if needed for a crate or food. I do have a senior cat who is indoor, who is very friendly with dogs. He grew up around my mom’s beagles, so he doesn’t mind company/energy! I can section off my basement stairs and kitchen for safety if needed. I cannot board any cat-aggressive dogs for my cat’s safety. I do not use any non pet-safe cleaners or pest control in my home.

I work full time during the week but am home on the weekends while my partner is gone on the weekends and home two days during the week. About: I did a lot of dog/cat sitting back when I was in college (8 years ago). I have some time off of work and would love nothing more than to fill my schedule with watching your pets. I have experience in caring for dogs, cats, chickens, and some reptiles. I am off of work for a couple of months, so my availability is wide open! 7 days a week, morning or night would work. I live on an acreage, so our 3 dogs are on a wireless gps collar system. If your dog/s were to come to my yard, they would need to be somewhat collar-trained. At your house, I can walk dogs, play with your dogs in your yard, and hang out with them inside the house. For cats, I can play with them inside, and give them lots of company.
