“Madolyn was amazing. I highly recommend her as sitter. I have a very skittish dog that was her best friend by the second day. I was not available so she sent a text to my husband every morning giving him a detailed update. I will definitely be using her again and again. 5 stars from this client.”
“Hannah is wonderful. She is responsive and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond in taking care of my pets. It's wonderful knowing my animals are safe and content while I'm away. I will definitely reach out to her next time we need a sitter. Thank you, Hannah!”

“Lilliana was absolutely amazing! Very communicative as she sent me pictures and updates every day. My pups loved her and she went out of her way to make sure they were well taken care of while we were gone. I 10/10 will be requesting her in the future”

About: Here at Ty's Bark Club I take the health and well-being of each and every fur baby that I am rewarded the opportunity to care for. I understand that they are an extension of your family. My goal is to provide you with the best quality of care, starting from the initial point of contact. While your fur baby is here, I evaluate their overall well-being, paying close attention to their play method, eating, drinking, bowel movements, limb movement, teeth and more. I educate myself on each animal to be able to ensure their stay is enjoyable, being they are away from family and their stomping grounds. No pet is too old, young, small, giant, dark, light, quiet or mouthy to come enjoy a vacation at TT's Bark Club. My fur baby is just like having a child, I set rules and establish boundaries for a well-rounded human-to-canine/feline relationship. I understand the importance of obedience and how tedious and time consuming that can be, I am offering to train your pet for you. Be sure to read to find out more. Leave a review & include #TeamTy and get 20% your next booking over $75. My willingness to learn and transparency is what enhances my reputation, based on the reviews from previous pet owners leaving their heart felt comments. I am determined to efficiently ensure a clean and safe environment as I am conducting our kennel out of the comfort of my home. With a flexible daily schedule, I maintain a healthy schedule that fits each need of your pet(s) during their stay with me. Being outside to smell the air and feeling the breeze is the best part about vacation, right? Well at Ty's, outside is where the grass is green, the sun is hot, and the water comes with ice cubes to beat the heat. I conduct daily cleaning. Ensuring to clean bowels, cages, toys, linen and more. During each feeding time, ALL pets are put into their crates, read to find out more. My backyard has been newly fenced in to provide the best security for your pets while they are here. Some quick repairs have been done to the fence, since running the kennel. (Great updates coming soon)!! There is minor dirt but mostly grass that is well maintained. Considering how many pets come to my home, we have a company come out to spray the outside and inside of the home for a variety of pest to include by not limited to fleas, ticks and flies. This is a home-based business, thus leaving out key information about your pet is a non-negotiable and could potentially be a hazard for your pet and others. If your pet’s care guide is not an accurate description on their behavior once arrived, early pick-up will be required, so misrepresentation is highly discouraged. This is not a pet foster home, mean-time in between time, shelter, or rescue. It is prohibited to bring your pet(s) here, while you are looking for a new home for them. I do not wish to be a part of that transaction; have tried it and wish nothing but the best for you during that adventure. Thank you for understanding.

“Nicole was wonderful!! She was able to book us last minute for Christmas weekend. She provided lots of pictures and updates, and is very caring and loving to both the dogs and my home. Will definitely be calling her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Bri! I’m a lifelong animal lover with professional experience as a pet sitter, dog walker, kennel technician, and kennel manager. In school to become a future Certified Veterinary Technician! I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, including seniors, high-energy pets, and those with special needs. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, or extra comfort while you’re away, I provide attentive, reliable care and treat every animal like family. I have open availability right now so pickup and drop-off anytime works for me. On my days off, I dedicate my full attention to your pets, making sure they get plenty of love, playtime, and personalized care. For everyone’s safety, I ask that pets are up to date on vaccinations, flea-free, and friendly with other pets. I can only accept small dogs, as my medium sized dog isn’t comfortable around larger breeds. If your cat prefers their own space, I can keep my cats separated to help them feel comfortable.
About: Hi! I’m a loving and responsible pet owner who understands how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your furry family members. ❤️ I’ve cared for family and friends’ pets while they’ve been away on vacation, and I always make sure to follow their instructions carefully. Whether it’s taking their dog for a walk at a specific time, giving medication, following feeding schedules, or making sure they get plenty of playtime and attention, I want every pet to feel comfortable and cared for while their family is away. I also have experience with cat drop-ins. I’m happy to visit multiple times a day to feed them, refresh their water, give them attention and playtime, and clean up any messes they may have made. I have an Aussiedoodle of my own who I’ve had for almost three years, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I know how much peace of mind it can bring to receive updates and know that your pet is happy and being well cared for. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and give them the same love, patience, and attention I give my own. 🐶🐱💕 As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am generally available for drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine and make sure they receive the care and attention they need. For house sitting, I’m flexible and can discuss arrangements based on your preferences and your pet’s needs. I’ll always communicate with you ahead of time if I have any scheduling or availability concerns so we can make sure everything works well for you and your pets. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I want you to feel comfortable knowing they are in caring and responsible hands. I have a fully fenced backyard, which provides a safe space for dogs to get some fresh air, play, and enjoy outdoor time while being supervised. I’ll always follow your preferences and your pet’s usual routine when it comes to outdoor time. I carefully follow all instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any special needs or routines your pet may have. I’ll also keep you updated during visits or stays so you know how your pet is doing. I want every pet in my care to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and make sure they receive plenty of attention, patience, and care while you’re away. I’ll also treat your home and belongings with the same respect I would want for my own.

About: I have two dogs of my own. I had dogs when I was younger as well. I’ve had my dogs since they were 12 weeks old. I am currently in school for my masters degree so I am always here with my family and ready to assist with yours as well. My dogs are considered my family. We provide eachother with love and emotional support. Also, providing a safe environment is just as important to me with a fenced yard and the attention that my dogs deserve. Thank you in advance for considering me!
About: I've had pets since I was little. We got our first dog when I was in about 4th grade. At the moment I have a Guinea pig. I've been to obedience school with my dog before so I think that might come in handy. Other than that. I just want to enjoy their company. And also keep an eye on your bundle of joy for you. I've had pitbulls, pinkingneses, and a beagle before but I mostly know about smaller dogs. I've read a plethora of dog books from my local library during my early teenage years to get a good understanding of most species. I also am constantly researching anything I need to, on more than just Google and wikipedia but multiple sources. I hope I can be of service to anyone who would have me. I work two part time jobs and am looking to fill my time with some fur babies. The time spend at both jobs is equal to less than 40 hours. I have a crate trained dog in my home and plenty of yard to run around. I live on a dirt road so it is not traveled often.

I am willing to go beyond and make sure your pet remains active, and know the importance since I have a pretty healthy 11 years old pup myself! Allow me to show you that you can become comfortable and know that your dog will be in great hands, while they are gaining a friend=) This is not a job to me, but a privilege! If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know! Hope to work with you and your wonderful dog soon! I'm an Exercise Science/Psychology graduate and trainer. My line of work is organized how I schedule it to make sure I am meeting standards and delivering the proper care. IF we agree to bring your fur babies in my home I could provide great accommodations. I have a sweet dog and cat so what ever I could do to meet needs.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs my whole life. My mom and I started doing TNR and taking care of a colony of cats when I was around 8 years old, while also having cats and dogs of our own! I currently have my own cats and dogs who are my entire world. I volunteer regularly at the SPCA in Aiken, SC and have a few months of experience from working at a dog and cat boarding facility. I have a lot of experience with cats that have different medical conditions such as FIV. My own cats have had surgeries and needed to be medicated so I have experience in giving pills and liquid medicine. I’m not currently working which means I have a very flexible schedule. I am more than happy to discuss a routine that works best for you! I can care for your pets by dropping by and spending an extended amount of time with them to ensure they are getting any emotion connection they may need. In addition, I will take care of the basic necessities such as cleaning and feeding. I am more than happy to send updates throughout the day/time period to ensure you know how they are doing!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
