About: I have been around animals and have helped care for them since I was around 10 years old. I grew up with cats and now as an adult I have three dogs. In my free time I volunteer with a local rescue, and I have fostered through the rescue or on my own taken in, vetted, then found homes for over two dozen animals combined. I was raised with so much love and empathy for all animals that I care for them as if they were my pets. I had a rover account a few years ago, but I deleted my account when I decided to legally change my name. So while I have experience being a sitter on rover, I unfortunately have no way to show my previous reviews. It would be my honor to care for your pets in whatever form needed, whether it’s boarding, drop in, walks, or daycare. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions! My rates are to account for rover fees. I also require a meet and greet for any dogs that would be in my home to make sure they’d get along with my dogs. We can discuss rates further during meet and greets if you’d like. I am a stay at home dad with my 5 year old child that I homeschool, so I am available all the time. I do have occasional appointments or events, but none of it takes up much of my time. It is very easy for me to be home and tending to animals whenever needed. I have a small fenced area for bathroom breaks, but the rest of my property (half an acre) is not fenced in. My own dogs are allowed off leash because they are trained, but for safety I would not allow rover dogs off leash in the non fenced portion of the yard.

“Jessica and her family did a great job with Max. She took time to introduce Max to her dogs and get him comfortable with them. Max was happy and healthy each day when I came to pick him up. Her young son liked taking care of Max too. I’m grateful for the care they gave Max”

“Janet was great, has a perfect setup and my princess had a fabulous time. I got daily updates with a picture and it was so reassuring to know she was being taken care of so well. I’m not sure she wanted to come home after having a week of playtime with her dogs. Thanks so much!”

“Ash did a great job with our Schnauzer, Jack. She walked him regularly, made homemade treats for him and let him chill on her sofa. This was wonderful while we spent the day with great friends and was a great comfort to us, knowing that Jack was safe and happy. Highly recommend. Call Ash.”

“Joseph S. was kind enough to to take my dog Maggie in on very short notice when I had a family emergency. Her took her on a hike, gave her a bath. I warned him she was clingy and Maggie didn't disappoint as she followed him everywhere. She was happy to see me when I arrived but I think she wanted to hang there for some more fun and adventure. Thanks Joseph, you helped me out of a tight situation and I would definitely recommend your service to others.”

“Jess & Matt are conveniently located, really love dogs, and did a great job caring for my little guy. I will continue using them on a regular basis to doggy sit. Highly recommend!”

“We left our two dogs with Angi for a day and they took wonderful care of Piper and She-Ra, long walks, played ball and let them sleep inside when it was pouring rain. Our first time using Rover and we would recommend Angi if your staying in and around Corning. Thanks again for taking care of our Pups 😊”

About: I love dogs they can tell. I have a boxer that enjoy running with and playing engaging games. I don't mind walking and running in winter weather. I enjoy working with dogs that want to get out and run but I'm also enjoying working with dogs who have gained some pounds and need a walk... who hasn't been there!? I think happy dogs are less destructive dogs and less distructive dog means happier owner. My hours and availability maybe changing relatively soon, but I am available every day before 8 and every day after 3 im available for overnight stays or weekend stays. I’m not able to board right now but I will be able to board soon! I look forward to hearing from you!!! -Cassi

“Megan took our pups in at the last minute so we could hike a trail that does not allow dogs. She was very accommodating and really good with Lola and Levi. Our family (pups included) strongly recommend Megan as a sitter.”

“Rudy enjoyed a second week of daycare with Amber. He had plenty of walks and attention. Amber sent photographs that showed him being playful--not a way he acts around just anyone, cool and cautious dude that he is. We recommend this professional, thoughtful, and attentive sitter!”

As far as experience goes, I have always had at least one dog and cat in my home for the full 22 Years I have been alive. I have volunteered and worked on farms and in other animal care facilities with various animals and pets. I have watched others pets in their homes as well as mine numerous times and am always looking for new opportunities to meet and get to know more pets. About: I'm a dog mom of two. I love dogs and go out of my way to care for them, spoil them, and make them feel loved. I work full time on a hybrid schedule. I'm looking for a side job and hanging out with dogs just sounds like fun! I'm excited to meet some new furry friends! The pet that comes into my home has free rein. About: I lost my childhood dog last fall and I'm ready to have pets back in my life, but I'm not ready to have one of my own. I work from home and have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. My little man lived to be 16 years old, so I'm comfortable giving medications to senior animals and have no problem being as energetic or relaxed as your furry friend needs. My company is based in Portland, so I have at until at least 10 am every morning that would be perfect for dog walking. Throughout the day, I'm able to take breaks and have several large grassy areas around my apartment to let dogs out, play catch or just get some fresh air on my patio. I've spent my whole life around animals and I'm easily adaptable. If your pet needs to be by my side all day, I can do that. If your dog wants to take a (slow) run, I can do that. I know that leaving your pet with a stranger can be scary, but I had so many great sitters from Rover when my dog was still around, that I want to provide a safe and happy stay for your pets when you need someone to look after them.

Star U.
“I boarded my two ESAs with Star when I went on a week long trip. They're very affectionate and are bonded animals so I was hesitant about leaving them. They were able to board in one suite together, a big plus for me in terms of both costs and the pair of them benefiting from each others' company. Star was very attentive to my explanation of their food and routine and even sent a couple photos and a video while they were there to reassure me they were doing well. I would definitely use this service to board my cats again and would recommend to anyone looking for competent and caring supervision for their pets while they're away.”

Laura F.
“Laura is very loving and caring for her puppies and all animals she comes into contact with. She has 4 of the happiest puppies I have ever seen. They’re very well fed and nourished. She always takes time to take them to the park and keeps up with their necessities. She’s also very caring for my sister’s dogs when we go for family gatherings at her house. Highly recommend her to watch anybodys pets!”
