“We are so thankful to have found this great family to dogsit our dog! They have kids and pets of their own and made sure that everyone was safe and friendly with each other. They sent us pictures often and kept us updated on how our dog was doing. Great experience with Wes and his family!”

“Rachel and her husband have been amazing! This was the longest we've ever left Otis, and he is a senior dog with back/leg issues. They handled him so kindly, and provided updates very regularly with pictures. I felt very comfortable with being out of the country knowing he was being taken care of and loved on. When I picked him up they had even given him a bath, and her husband helped load his belongings in the car.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my mom was a wildlife rehabilitator for Arkansas Game and Fish, so I learned early on how to nurse injured and sick animals back to health with patience and compassion. From bottle feeding baby animals to helping with their recovery, I developed a deep respect for all creatures. In 2020, I began working with my stepmom at a petting zoo, where I had the amazing opportunity to train under a veterinarian. There, I learned how to administer medication, care for injuries, and provide emergency treatments like fluids and splints. This hands on experience gave me confidence and knowledge to handle all kinds of situations. I also worked at a busy doggy daycare, caring for up to 40 dogs daily and providing overnight care for boarders. Managing so many furry friends taught me how to stay calm, organized, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. It also led me to truly be able to read body language and when to insert myself to prevent any unwanted interactions. I love creating a fun, safe environment where every dog feels loved and cared for. Now I am a personal protection/working dog trainer in training! It has taught me so much about how a dog’s brain works and how to best attack any situation with confidence! Overall, my experience combines a lifelong love of animals with professional training and real world skills; so I can promise that your pet will be in great hands! Right now, I am almost fully available for pet care! I work M-F 8:30-3:30, but your pet will get my full attention while I am with them! Whether it's early mornings, late nights, or last minute needs, I've got the time and energy to give them all of the love, play, and care they deserve! When I am caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress free as possible. I'll follow your instructions closely; whether that means feeding schedules, walks, meds, cuddles, or quiet time. I'm super respectful of your space and I'll always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally at ease while you're away!
“Ashtin was amazing with my dog Snooki! She sent updates throughout the day and made sure she was comfortable! I will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone”

“Madison and Isaiaih did a great job sitting my dog . I enjoyed the videos and pictures they shared with me where I could see my dog happy and well taken care of . I will hire them again should I ever need a dog sitter in the future.”

“Samantha is AWESOME!!! WHEN WE DROPPED STELLA OFF IT WAS SUCH A WARM AND FRIENDLY FEELING. She cares about pets and other people's pets. Because Stella was treated so well we were worried she wouldn't want to come home. She even sent us pictures while we were gone to let us know how she was doing. You'll never get another sitter as good as Samantha!!! We will certainly be using her anytime we need a sitter for Stella.. give her a chance and you won't be sorry!!”

“So great! First time boarding my dog so I was nervous, but Jaxx was in great hands. She sent me photos and updates while I was gone. My dog got along great with her pup and they got to play in a fenced in yard and everything! Would take him back there if I went on another trip for sure.”

“This was my first time using Rover and It was great!! Ashley was a big help on giving me tips on how to improve and advance my training with my pup! She updated me on his progress and his behavior throughout his stay.”

“Renee was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my dog, Lilo, while I was out of the country getting married. From the moment we met, she was welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable leaving Lilo in her care. Throughout the stay, Renee was incredibly accommodating and kept me updated with pictures and messages almost every day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from every update that Lilo was happy, comfortable, and receiving lots of attention and care. This was easily the best sitter experience I have ever had through Rover. I would highly recommend Renee to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many sizes since I was twelve years old. I have a dog of my own who is my best friend and I understand the feeling of leaving them in another person’s care. I will treat your dog with the love and friendliness as I do my own. Weekends are the best for me to take care of your animal, as I have a full time job. I am free in the morning until 6:30 and in the evenings starting at 5:30 I have a 6yo hound mix who is the friendliest boy to all animals. He would love to keep your dog company. I have a safe area outside to walk the dogs on a leash as well as a fenced in back yard for some fun!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
