“What we most loved about Hailey was how quickly our animals took to her — our dogs were leaning against her within minutes, and even the cats who hide came out and let her pet them the very first night! It was comforting to leave our pets in the care of someone who clearly loves and understands animals. And though we ended up rushed and didn't have as much time as I wanted to orient her, she perfectly remembered and followed all instructions. We've already booked her again.”

“Whitney was a fantastic dog sitter. She was very responsive during the booking process and communicated with me regularly while I was away with notes and photos. The dogs seemed happy and well cared for, and she took great care of my home while she was here! I highly recommend Whitney!”

“Nicole took amazing care of our dog and cat while we were away! We would love to work with her again and would definitely recommend her for house sitting!”

About: Currently a golden retriever and cat mom, my love for animals began when I was a child. In my adult life, I have owned a Corgi, St. Bernard, and cats that I have cared for their entire lives. I am looking to help others in need of pet care, whether it is a daily walk or visit, or overnight boarding. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to help with pet care. I can provide daily walks or outside time as needed. Dogs and cats are like family to me. Your pet will be treated as one of my own - with lots of love and attention!

About: I’ve had dogs that both lived over 15 healthy years plus sitting .I’m dependable, cautious about their safety and respond quickly. I’m respectful and flexible. I work part time as a caregiver and have a flexible schedule. I’m reliable, mature and will be attentive. As well as reachable when needed. I’m careful about your pets safety as well as a feeding schedule. I’m cautious regarding heat and ice and keep their environment clean and tidy.

“Kate was amazing! Her communication and attention were invaluable. Atlas had such a good weekend and we could be away with the assurance that he was well taken care of. Highly recommend!”

“Tracey was a dream to work with. She was so good with Wilson and took great care with him. With him being only 4 months old this was only the second time I have been away from him. I would recommend Tracy in a heartbeat.”

About: Everyone around me knows how much I love pets. I have helped dog sitting my boss’s dog, and as a first timer, I know I did great! I’m working a full time job, I’m ready for anything after working hours and weekends. For occasional home visits, I can make some exceptions depending on my schedule. I myself have a cat, and I haven’t been able to assess how she would react with other pets so I’m holding off on bringing other pets at my place for now. Otherwise, for the clients, I make sure I observe all safety measures and that I’m giving them all the love.

“Julia was awesome with Isaac and kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and messages. I felt very comfortable with her immediately and will absolutely reach out to her again with future bookings! I also want to note how accommodating she was - arriving at 5:30am so I could get to an important meeting. I so appreciate her punctuality and ability to take in Isaac’s care plan so quickly. Isaac is a shy rescue and it takes a special person for him to warm up so quickly. Thank you, Julia!”

About: I’ve had a dog in my household my entire life. I worked on a farm for two summers so I have a lot of experience with animal care. I’ve been a pet sitter in some capacity for roughly 8 years and I have experience with puppies, dogs of all ages, and dogs with anxiety and trauma issues. During high school I regularly took care of two dogs with anxiety and high energy. I did my senior year thesis project in high school on dog behavior, training and reactivity. As part of my project I got my dog and cat first aid certification from the Red Cross, which has since lapsed while I was getting my EMT license. Also as well as working for Rover for a couple summers, after high school I worked at a dog kennel for close to a year which saw up to about 40 dogs a day. Now I’m in college and looking to spend some time with dogs since we don’t have one of our own. I’ll take excellent care of your furry family members if given the opportunity! I work 3 days a week but am out of school for the summer so I have plenty of other time for walks and drop ins! As of right now I don’t offer any service in my home. For my other services, in Burlington we live in close proximity to a lot of little walks and hikes that I would love to take your pups on! Or just a little walk around the block if that’s what your pup prefers. For drop ins I follow any instructions clients leave for me, and do my best to make the pup feel cared for and loved!

“Fantastic sitter. My dog and cat loved her! My dog got some special walks and was so happy to have a new friend. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for help with their animals!”

About: I grew up with dogs (1 lab and 2 doodles), and I miss them so much while I am away at school. I have cared for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs since I was in middle school, offering both dog-walking and overnight pet care services. I also have experience caring for salt-water aquaria. I currently work a 9-5 with flexible hours. I am available for early morning, lunchtime, and evening walks. I am also free on the weekends. My apartment is unfortunately not pet friendly, but I do offer overnight pet sitting at the dog’s home. I have experience house sitting for families with pets, and I am more than happy to provide references.

“Maddie took great care of Russet and Chloe! With it being our first time leaving our puppy, she made us feel very comfortable and shared fun pictures throughout the time. Our pup was looking for Maddie for a day or two after she left, because she had so much fun with her. We would recommend and trust Maddie with no questions asked.”

About: Hello! My name is Wren and I'm a college student with a summer internship in DC. I have been fostering dogs and puppies since I was 5 years old. I also have multiple years of pet-sitting experience (both dogs and cats), and I had two dogs and a cat growing up that I was partially responsible for until I graduated from high school. I am an active individual and I love to go on walks and runs. Currently I am available during the day on Fridays and at night the rest of the week. I will have more availability in May because I will not have started my next internship so I will be free every day. In June I am available before and after my 9-5 job and a longer-term pet-sitting option would be my preference. I do not currently have a place to offer for boarding, but I can assure you that I will comply with all house and Rover rules, as well as respect your pet/space and keep it clean.

“Payton was amazing. She was communicative, responsible, and took good care of my dogs as well as the house. We had a medical emergency with one of the dogs that she handled like a rock star - we were very thankful that she was there and had no doubts that our dogs were well looked after.”

“Carolyn took great care of all of our pets. I really appreciated the text and photo updates, and the critters were all content when we came home. Will definitely book her again the next time we take a trip!”

David N.
“David adores animals, particularly dogs. I am lucky enough to work in an office where we can bring our pets in at different times. My work sometimes requires me to meet sometimes at length with clients, sometimes who are afraid of dogs so I cannot have my dog in the office with me. David joyously offers to take my dog and without being prompted he will make sure he goes out for pee breaks, has water and is kept comfortably contained. He is amazingly kind, professional and trustworthy. I have known him over 2 years and I trust him implicitly.”

Drew L.

“Drew was so amazing with our pup! He received lots of love and attention while we were gone. Our dog can also be reactive towards other animals on leash, and Drew did a fantastic job.”

Wren T.
“Wren is an exceptional pet and house sitter. She is conscientious, professional and very responsible. She communicates any concerns clearly, asks questions, and follows all of our requests to the letter. She kept our place clean and respected our space. Most importantly, she is confident and competent with our pets. The proof is in the wags she gets when she comes to our home. Even our shy cat shows her affection when she arrives. Wren has been flexible in the past when our plans changed last minute, which was very helpful when we were in a pinch. I would hire her again in a second - you should too.”
