I’m current working part time doing private chef work and have some time and lots of energy to spend with your pup on trails and more! Would love to have a dog myself when my lifestyle permits, for now, I get to enjoy yours… win win ☺️🎾 Plenty of pavement and park land in this beautiful city! Will ensure your dog is hydrated and gets plenty of playtime while under my care!
About: I’d be more than happy to welcome your baby into my home! They will have as many potty breaks as needed ,they will be fed, and they will have fun. I aim to give your fur baby the best experience available. I’m sure your baby would fit right in. I offer special treatment/services if needed for your fur baby also! I look forward to hearing from you and I’m usually quick to reply back. If you have any questions or concerns, I’m just one message away. Thank you so much and I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I tend to form around most fur babies schedules. Some may sleep perfectly during the night and others may not. So my schedule really depends on your fur babies schedules. I typically like to ask for your fur babies favorite toy or snack this way each pet has a part of home with them. I like to get information on each baby about their typical day at home so that I can try my best to replicate that and keep them comfortable.

About: Im very good with animals and tending for their needs. When my friends ask for my help I happily agree whether its picking up after them, giving baths, taking them on walks or just playing. I've volunteered at the bark for life in Exeter and helped run the booth, which made me realize how fun it was to see dogs and do something fun with them for a good cause. I really love animals so I always want to do the best, to take care of them as well as make sure they are happy and healthy no matter how big or small. I also have Experience house sitting families dogs. The longest I've house sat for a family friend was around 6 months. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time to care of your pets! My schedule is very flex able and I'd love to work around your schedule. Before anything I like to gain the trust of the dog to make sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. I haven taken care of a family dog that had anxiety meeting new people, so I implemented special techniques ( such as having my back faced away from the dog and giving them a treat) being very patient and friendly is how I make sure they feel safe.
“Madison was a joy to work with! She was responsive to all our communications and adjusted the walking schedule according to our local weather. She was very patient with our dog, kept us informed of her walks, and sent photos every day. We highly recommend using her and we plan on using her services again.”

I have crate trained, potty trained, and taught commands to my dog myself. I can complete all basic needs of your pet and am excited to make new friends! Your dog will be in good hands with me and have a lot of fun to! I am currently not working and I am on summer break from school so I am pretty much available all the time as of now! My home has a very large fenced in area so your pup can go outside to play and potting with no worries of them getting out. I can also crate your dog upon request. I do have a small dog named toby, he loves meeting new dog friends especially small ones his size!

About: Hi, I'm Schea. I've worked in the pet care industry for about 5 years. I've cared for puppies and kittens, senior dogs and cats with disabilities, and everything in between. I'm available nearly any time. Large and hyper dogs are not an issue, I love a challenge! I'm very patient which makes it easy for me to interact well with nervous or anxious dogs and cats. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. I can't wait to meet your pet! I currently have no other obligations, this is my priority and my main source of income. I'm excited about this opportunity as animals are my biggest passion in life. A pretty should always feel safe in their own home and this will always be a priority for me. Taking a first interaction in a pets home slowly and carefully is the best way to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Auckland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Auckland.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
