My high school included classes in animal care, my first job was at a pet store, I spent several years fostering dogs and cats for a local shelter, and I've cared for friends and neighbors pets while they were on vacation. I'm currently a substitute teacher finishing up my my teaching degree. I don't teach every day and I substitute 5 minutes from home so I am able to return for lunch. She sent pictures, took him on a walk, and even taught him a new trick (I literally booked her to drop in twice). You could just tell how much she cared about his comfort and well being; for instance, our heat went out and when the temperature dropped she offered to drive an extra two hours to bring him a heater! We live super far away from her and yet she still took an extra trip to come meet all of us. I could not recommend her enough! She’s wonderful!!”
