About: I am more than able to fill any demands you have. Form the smallest to the largest breed I am invested in your dog and will train, play, bathe, and anything else you request with your dog.I have had experience with multiple breeds of dogs and have enjoyed them all! I am a stay at home mom with one kid and one puppy. If your dog isn’t dog friendly I am able to care for both dogs in separate environments in the house. I’ll be home with them all day. Constantly giving your animal love and attention. I have a German Shepherd one year old. He is fairly trained and very happy puppy. He loves kids and all sizes of dogs. He enjoys play time, treats, walks, and cuddles. He hates bath time, but we make it work!

About: I am a Marquette native who just returned home after years of adventures and experiences with animals in other places. I have over 20 years experience in the animal medical field, primarily in emergency and surgery and over 3 years with animal poison control. I also recently became a certified dog trainer, using positive reinforcement. Your animals will be in qualified and caring hands with me. I currently have wide open availability as my main focuses right now include caring for a family member in a nursing home and maintaining my busy household, which includes my special needs pets. With my extensive experience, you can feel at ease knowing I am very knowledgeable about animals and their needs. I know what to do if there is a problem and stay calm in emergencies.

About: ****Had a BABY in November 2024, I’m now only taking 1 daycare dog a weekend when my husband can help, and I’m being very selective about who I take as my baby is just getting mobile*** LOCATION: We are right near all the major venues. We live 4 blocks from the Munising cruise boat dock…1 min drive from Paddling MI, Northern Waters, Pictured Rocks Kayaking, Rip Tide Ride, and Glass Bottom Boat…and 5 min from the National Park! ABOUT US: I was born and raised in Munising. Mark and I have spent over 6 years volunteering as evening animal caregivers & dog walkers with Alger County Animal Shelter. Currently we have two rough collies and a cat. We have a lovely, historical house we have been renovating, with a small fenced in dog play area off the back deck. Our house and yard is clean, and we don’t smoke. We also have urban hens that stay in their outdoor pen at all times. -Daycare Hours- We can accept dogs between 9-5. If you’re booking on Sunday we go to church 10-12AM and your dog will need to be crated during this time. CARE: During your pups stay we have plenty of play time outside in the yard. Let us know if your pup has anxiety, we will diffuse lavender essential oil! Our pets all have current vaccines, and are well socialized with other animals. NOTE***We own 2 large collies and for everyones safety WILL NOT ACCEPT dogs that are not friendly with other dogs.*** We also ~do not accept toy breeds~ as they could slip under our fence. AND-We have a cat (she is very dog savvy)…please advise us if your dog is cat friendly or not.

About: Furry Friend Care experience includes caring for cat(s) needing regular injections (subcutaneous), special dietary needs, and walking multiple dogs (familiar with each other). Light grooming, as well! As a free agent with Home bases in both Munising and Marquette, I have flexibility! We all have things we care about and want to ensure are safe and cared for when we're not around. I will give care and consideration to your fur friends, their routines and safety! My house sitting, boat sitting, fur friend care, & companionship extend from Marquette to Munising, and Chocolay to Big Bay! Care to be in your home, unless special conditions are made. My current familiar is a gorgeous grey Nebelung cat, adopted as a kitten 5 years ago. She requires a special ZD diet and biweekly subcutaneous shots. I have experience attaching kitty nail caps, when she was younger, with coordinated guidance while we were sussing out an unknown skin condition that was causing her to scratch aggressively, continually opening wounds, not giving them a chance to heal. Her condition is now under control, and she no longer requires the nail caps. Prior cats I have cared for have ranged from 3 lbs to 28 lbs! Our family pooch is an English Springer Spaniel, a unique tri-color showcasing beautiful Sable color. We welcomed him to our home 6 years ago. He is our 2nd Springer in 21 years. They are such a loving, fun, and gentle breed. I have much experience in connecting with and walking rescue dogs as well, mixed breeds including Sharpei, Pit Bull, Rottie, Jack Russel, Corgie, Labradoodles, Spaniels, etc. Sanitation is the start of keeping our friends safe and healthy; exercise and fresh air are necessary as well to have a happy, healthy home life. I can provide these things for your loved furry friend(s) while you are traveling or working.

A major component of pet caretaking is communication. With a bachelor’s degree in scientific and technical communication from Michigan Tech, I have studied the art and science of communication. I am available to provide services in your home during the day or in the evening. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to accommodate requests for boarding in my home. Safety is paramount: I will ensure your pet's safety while caring for their needs. I also understand the level of trust required to allow a sitter into your home and provide utmost respect for your property and privacy. I would be happy to provide comprehensive companion animal care, including routine caretaking & providing companionship/giving cuddles, administering meds, exercise, and any other aspect of animal care for any species.

While at this time I am not offering in home care I can offer my services any where from multiple daily visits to overnights in your home where I will maintain any structured care/ patterns you have in place ! I will clean up / remove any of your precious pets " gifts " including regular cleaning of litter boxes, pads etc

I currently have open availability through May 19th, so I’m flexible and able to accommodate a wide range of schedules. After that, I’ll be working 40 hours a week but will still have two consistent days off, plus availability for morning, evening, and weekend care. I'm committed to making sure pets get the attention they need, even with a full schedule. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. About: I have been a Licensed Licensed Veterinary Technician for 11 years now, the first part of my career was in Emergency and Critical Care. Caring for animals, is a part of my daily routine.
