“Melissa was great. We were very anxious about leaving our puppy but she was sending updates and videos and really made us feel Olive was being well taken care of and loved.”

“Cassie was great. She watched my senior dog and made sure he was comfortable during fourth of July fireworks and around other dogs. I like that she had children so my dog had plenty of people to play with. She was very accommodating considering it was a last minute booking on a holiday weekend. When i picked my dog up he looked like he had a blast while he was there and I could tell he was well taken care of. Thank you Cassie!”

“Savannah was awesome! She kept me up to date with both pictures and videos. My husband and I both commented on how nice it was to take Sylvie to Savannah's home, compared to a boarding kennel. She got a lot more love, attention and care and came home smelling great too!”

“I highly recommended this family to be your dog’s sitter! They have watched my min pin Daisy seven times. They promptly respond to requests and have a nice sized backyard for her to safely run around in. The pictures and videos sent while she stay’s here are both adorable and illustrate my dog’s love for this family. 🐶🐾 Amy”

“Our puppies loved Gail! She sent us pictures while we were on vacation and made us so comfortable with their stay with her. She gave them their medicine and took care of them so well. They got along so well that we wondered if they were going to want to come home with us when we return. Just kidding! We highly recommend Gail and will definitely check in with her in the future.”

“My senior pup just got home from a wonderful weekend with Patti! He had the best care and we received regular updates and photos. My dog has vision issues among other senior ailments and needs medication at meals. Patti was so patient and helped him navigate the new space, always making sure he was safe. We felt so comfortable with Igor in Patti’s care and look forward to him visiting her again!”

“Another wonderful stay for Yote! He went for walks, received lots of attention, and observed some wildlife. Daniel & Rachel were extremely accommodating with our 1am pickup time from a midnight plane arrival!”

“Arya was excellent with Cali. He obviously knows and loves dogs. She was well-cared for and we received regular videos of their fun. As an added bonus, he worked with her on her leash behavior. Will definitely rebook again. Highly recommend”

“Suzanne took great care of my dog! She sent me lots of pictures and she is a good communicator! She walked my dog and Lola always looked happy in the pictures! I would definitely use her again! I highly recommend her!”

“I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the wonderful care you provided for my dog, Luna! From the moment I dropped her off, I could tell she was in great hands. You took the time to understand her personality and needs, which made all the difference. Luna had an absolute blast during her day with you! Thank you once again for giving Luna such a wonderful day. I will definitely be reaching out for future dog-sitting needs, and I highly recommend your services to anyone looking for a caring and responsible sitter!”

“Isabel was amazing. We left our 1 year Golden Retriever, Keely with her while we went to Europe for 10 days. We were updated almost daily with pictures and nice commentary. Keely seemed so well adjusted and happy when we picked her up it was like we never left. I would definitely recommend Isabel and she'll be my first contact when we go away again.”

“Deanna was awesome and Brownie adjusted to her really well! We received daily pictures with her new friends. Dee responds back quickly. She put our minds at ease and knew our girl would be in good hands!! Definitely will be using her again!!”

“Doug was so thoughtful and kind with Milo — he truly enjoyed his stay at Doug’s home. I highly recommend him with my eyes closed! Very friendly and attentive, he always kept me updated about my puppy. Always willing to walk him and take care of him — thank you!!! Without a doubt, I’ll be reaching out again to leave my furry one with him!”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about Kim!! She was the perfect fit for my 8yr old Mal-Shi, Ella. She took such good care of my anxious little girl, giving her lots of love & comfort, as well as paying attention to the details of her care. She absolutely treated her like the queen that she is.”

“Charlie seemed to have a good time with Rikki. Rikki really cares about the animals she watches and tskes great care of them. Charlie can go back any time and we will use Rikki again.”

About: Hi I’m Hayley! I have about a year of Rover experience, doing doggie drop ins and walks. A little bit about me: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs nearly my entire life. I’ve never met a cat I didn’t love! I have two super friendly poodle mixes Nova and Arlo. Not only have I taken care of cats/dogs for 20+ years, I’m also the first to volunteer to care for my friends and neighbors beloved pets. I once babysat a neighbors 30 outdoor cats! I also have experience with senior cats and dogs. My expertise with dogs are home visits, walking and fetch or playing. I have a toddler who also loves animals and will accompany me at times, so a friendly dog is a MUST. I will watch one small/medium dog at my home in Ravenna prior to meeting them to ensure they get along with my pups. I treat my pets like family members, and would love to care for yours as well! I work a flexible hybrid schedule so I’m willing to work with your schedule. I’m available for overnight doggy daycare at my home for one family friendly pup if you’re out of town. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups to keep your dog company. They love to play! I’m willing and able to crate if needed as well.
“Shayna was incredible at caring for my furbaby. She went above and beyond in her care including always communicating with me through out. I think she is the best on Rover! I was nervous leaving my little one for days without me and in a strangers care, but she clearly made it easier and which gave me the confidence that my doggy would be well cared for! Boy was I right! I will book her again as my Yorkie seemed to love her lots. If you ask me she needs to open her own doggy daycare business!!!! Thank you again Shayna!!! My little one came back so happy and full of joy after being with you!!!”

About: Over the past 20 years, I’ve cared for three of my own dogs from puppyhood through their senior years, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of life—from potty training and high energy phases to gentle senior care. I’ve also raised kittens into senior cats, so I’m comfortable with feline personalities and needs as well. Beyond my own pets, I’ve regularly helped care for the dogs and cats of family and friends. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, love, and attention I gave my own. As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits very naturally into my daily schedule. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, maintain their routines, and provide a calm, present environment while you’re away. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own space. I take a patient, gentle approach and pay close attention to each animal’s unique temperament—whether that means playtime and energy for a young pup or a quiet, reassuring presence for a shy cat. In addition to everyday care, I’m experienced in administering medications, including oral meds and insulin injections for diabetic cats. I understand how important consistency, attentiveness, and trust are when caring for pets with medical needs, and I’m confident providing that level of care. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends over the years, helping with walks, feedings, routines, and lots of affection. Every pet I care for is treated with the same love and attention I gave my own. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and your pet a calm, loving experience while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities, whether I’m caring for them in your home or welcoming them into mine. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog and cats who are accustomed to other animals, creating a calm and welcoming environment. I’m mindful of introductions and each pet’s personality to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. Dogs are always leashed for daily walks, and I have a large yard that allows for extra exercise and playtime in a secure space. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to closely supervise pets, maintain their routines, and give them consistent attention and companionship. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special preferences you share. I also offer meet-and-greets before bookings so you and your pet can feel comfortable and confident. Building trust with both pets and their owners is very important to me, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in loving, attentive hands.
“Absolutely amazing, very friendly and amazing with our 2 dogs. She stepped in when a different rover provider could no longer care for our dogs during our vacation. Elysia sent us many pictures and videos and kept us up to date, putting our mind at ease. We highly recommend her and will be booking again!”

“Anita is just great! She gave us adorable picture updates every day and it was easy to see that Xander felt at home with her and her family! We will definitely be calling her again!!”

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
