“Sofia has been the perfect host for Teddy ! I cannot recommend her enough. She was so gentle and caring for Teddy, he could not have been in a better home! Thank you again Sofia !”

“Michelle was wonderful! We will definitely book with her again anytime we need a sitter for Tuff. She was so friendly from the second we first pulled up. Tuff immediately ran to her. She kept us updated with messages, pictures and videos! She had all of his belongings clean and packed when we arrived for pickup! Great experience from booking to pickup.”

“It was truly a blessing that Molly was able to stay with them. I received reports on Molly as well as pictures throughout the day. They treated her as one of their own’”

“Penny spent a week with Lindsey and her pack and she seemed to be very happy and content with her stay. Lindsey provided updates every morning and evening, letting me know that Penny had eaten her food and what she had done for the day. She also included pictures in which I could tell Penny was having fun. During her visit it was July 4 and Penny is extremely scared of fireworks. Lindsey made a safe space for Penny and checked on her consistently. I feel that Penny was in good hands with Lindsey and her family. I would not hesitate to leave Penny with Lindsay again!”

“Friendly, warm household, took incredible care of our pup, and stayed in constant contact with us to make sure our minds were at ease. If you're looking for a pet sitter, you've officially found her.”

“My Poppy was a little skittish when we got there and Sheryl was very patient with her. She kept me updated on her progress and Poppy looked and acted like a very happy puppy when I picked her up. I will definitely use her services again if needed.”

“My English bulldog and cat stayed with Katelyn for about 2 weeks and she did a great job! Frequent updates on how they were doing and pictures. She was so welcoming and my animals were so comfortable with her!”

“We are so thankful to Brittany for watching Gunner while we were away for a week. She took great care of him and kept me updated every day as to how he was doing - with pictures too. I would highly recommend Brittany for any future dog sitting.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 30 years of experience caring for furry friends. Growing up in a family with multiple dogs and cats, we often took in strays and provided loving homes for rescues. Over the years, I’ve fostered numerous dogs through rescue groups, ensuring they feel safe and cared for. I currently have a sweet and gentle 12-pound Shih Poo who adores making new friends. My two kids, aged 8 and 14, share my love for dogs and enjoy helping out. Since I work from home, your pup will never be alone and will receive plenty of love and attention throughout the day. While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
